It’s crazy cause I was just there on last week of May and I went for flatbed and they said they didn’t have no flatbed until July. Recruiter lies to much. But I’m stuck with Dryvan for now
That is crazy, because I was there since Memorial Day for about 3 weeks waiting on trailer tags and they have had orientation every week I was there and when I left a new orientation was getting ready to start.
ay bro let me kno how shit goin over there. also can u book loads of external load boards? im at an owner op only company its same day pay as well no drop n hooks. i can book off any load board as well as tha company board.
Yes. Mercer has a fleet owner program. Just call recruiting and they will walk you through the steps needed. You will have to take your truck and trailer to Louisville to get inspected by them also
@@Againsttheworldlogistics appreciate that fam. Keep standing on business. You gonna get through the other side of this storm my G! It’s going to be greater later once the smoke clears !!!
So it's going to be like a who they { meaning the dispatcher } likes more whether you get a load or not. My guess is you are going to miss JB in a couple months if that. This is going to be a whole new world
@@Againsttheworldlogistics I’m considering coming over to Mercer just talked to a recruiter. How do you like it over there so far if you don’t mind me asking.
I'm sorry bro the problem is when a company gets over saturated less loads like jb hunt ... jb hunt was good until everyone jumped on board then it became a rat race
You can insta book, you can go on the board, commit to the load and then your coordinator will reach out to the agent and book the load for you once they confirm it’s still available
So… your gonna be making payments on a trailer lotta money to buying a trailer with cheap rates or worse no loads. At least with a tv and laundry you gotta place to hang out and go broke at the same time
Hope you meet up with Supertruckerdan when in Mercertown.
Im looking forward to hearing more about Mercer. Im thinking of coming over there.
Nice truck
For them to have a complete professional kitchen at the terminal is a nice perk.
Best of luck to you.
mercer aint bad ull will like it alot better than jb hunt and alot less shady than damn landstar

Are you still there with Mercer?
@@ivypearl08 yes. Still here and I like it here. I actually stay with money after loads.
@@axist1235 how can I get in contact with you?
Nice video thank you
What kind of dot inspection level 1 or 3?

So Mercer does have a load board?
Yes Mercer is most like Landstar. Load board, agents, ect.
Well, I'd say Mercer is a better-flatbed company than TSH, just because they are bigger and probably have more load choices.
So SFI let u take the truck to a different company are you own the truck now
Are you still with them
That's not a good sign when you going to a yard and you see all those trucks sitting like that😂😂😂😂😂
Let us know the difference between JB and mercer
What made you leave JB Hunt?
How much are there van trailers a month. What the difference in lease or rent ?
I’m not sure how much the van rentals are but the only trailers you can lease are the Flatbed trailers.
Big bruh. How does it work if I own my own truck and trailer but I want to hire a driver . Can my driver get leased on with Mercer ?
Yes. Mercer has a fleet owner program. Just call recruiting and they will walk you through the steps needed. You will have to take your truck and trailer to Louisville to get inspected by them also

Is that a driver facing camera?
No. Forward facing only. My personal dash cam does the interior.
Its a forced camera thats forward facing only@@Senwaxa
Yea bro JB hunt is garbage right now. I just have to book a load for 1.25 just to get out of VA
You think Mercer is any better?
What kind of ELD?
Mercer uses Qualcomm Omnitracs.
Is all of there loads multiple stops?
No

@@truckerstu2017 I love it so far, my recommendation is if your coming to do flatbed try to buy as much equipment as you can before getting here.
104 appreciate the advice, can you net 3k a week or is that expecting to much with the current market?
@@truckerstu2017 It's definitely possible.

I feel you. Way to many IC’s and not enough loads
@Against The World Logistics it's called self preservation the more people u influence to go there the less loads u will have for yourself.
Bro did u get a new truck
No. Same truck
What day they have orientation?
Monday
Ok when do you take your drug screen and do they send you where you stay close at take one or take one in KY?
