    Thanks! Made something clear on how to use Live Comp! I’ve tried it a couple of times but didn’t understand it well enough… 😊

    Is it possible to switch off noise reduction. now you have to wait the recordtime after the photo?

    Re: the product. you set the f stop and the shutter. But how was the base shot determined?

    really cool tech makes it much easier than trying to get the right exposure and blending shots on pp

    Hi Lewis and Dave, thanks for yet another great and informative video. As regards shooting star trails, although we get pretty clear skies at night here in Israel light pollution is pretty prevalent. How can I get over this problem without driving miles away into the Negev Desert in the middle of the night? Thanks OM D EM1 ll and or EM5 lll

    Re: the star trails. Wouldn't the ambient shot be out of focus?

  • @MDMiller60
    @MDMiller60 2 года назад

    I don't understand the selection of shutter speed and establishing the base ambient image.
    I tried it and the image never built on the LCD.

    Hi, during the demo I have noticed that the tonal curve was set to +2 for highlight and -2 for the shadow. So It is also suggested to modify manually the tonal curve to those settings?

      I have the same model (OMD EM 10 MKII) and to use this mode (Live time or Live comp) you must turn the shutter speed wheel to the maximun, it's 60" seconds and keep turning to enter in modes Bulb, Live Time and Live comp. If you have any question you can ask me.

      You're in manual mode. That's your fault.

  • @MDMiller60

    Why aren't you and the other Olympus presenters say don't worry about focus on the base exposure. Don't you want the base photo to have been sharp?

      Michael Miller I was a bit confused with this also. Did they mean focus on the city then change focus for the stars? Is this even possible?

    • @Cabbydave49
      @Cabbydave49 2 года назад

      @@susanrockliff2182 If you auto focus focus on an object or building 30metres away and then switch to manual focus you should be good to go.
