Shot fireworks with the OM 5 and with a friend. Compared images when we were done. He had nice separated bursts because he move his camera between bursts in a set and I only overlayed them. The secret sauce was the camera movement.
I’m taking my OM-5 to a display tonight but unfortunately a tripod is a no no so I have to handhold. I’ve managed many times in the past handheld using a Pentax KP with a 50mm F1.8 I hope I can do as well with the OM-5.with my 12-45 Pro.
Yes, I have tried live composite with fireworks and also tried using the shutter release with bulb and when I see what I like on the rear screen I stop. Yes fun to try all options on my OM 1. Thanks again
Thank you Emilie, fun photos too. 🎉. BTW I have a question for you. I am thinking about getting into macro photography and I am looking at the OM System 90mm lens. However, I really love a prime lens with a long focal length. If I bought the 90mm macro lens, is the quality of the images from general photography also very high? Thank you.
Thanks for this video! Not about fireworks but actually landscapes: what type of filters (especially CPL) do you recommend for OM-5 users? I’ve got 12-45 f4 pro and 14-150, both 58mm thread. Really appreciate your videos! Thank you!

Totally!
It has been years since I'd shot fireworks so I'd forgotten my go to settings, but 5 seconds at f8 worked well.

Can you please do a video on how to use the OM one to shoot fireworks! Would really love an update on this

Thank you! Yes the 90mm macro is a fantastic lens. Super sharp. Go to your local camera store and try it out. You will not be disappointed.
@@EmilieT that you.
Merci pour les conseils, vous auriez de bon réglages pour les oiseaux et pour mammifères genre renard ?
Avec l'Om-5 et quel objectif?

I don't use filters on my camera so I can not really recommend any specific brand.
@@EmilieT wow never? That’s amazing. I guess if you don’t do landscape you don’t need them. Thanks for your responses!
Bonjour Émilie
Ferez vous cette vidéo en français. J’ai acquis cet appareil et aimerais progresser. Merci 😊
Je vais essayer de la traduire en français si j'ai le temps.
@@EmilieT merci beaucoup 😊
