  • Hey Coaster Fanatics, Thsis is my HD front seat on ride POV and review of The Wolverine Wildcat. The Dinn Corporation wood coaster at Michigan's Adventure. This coaster has a max height of 85 feet with a drop of 78 feet and a max speed of 55 mph. This coaster was the first brand new coaster built by the Dinn Corporation. I thought this was a good coaster surprisingly. Good air time and not super rough. Definitely worth the wait. Enjoy the ride. If you enjoy the video please smash that like button, do leave your thoughts in the comment section, and subscribe for more awesome roller coaster content. Thank you and ride on!

    You said "Firehawk" instead of Thunderhawk. Haha good video though. Usually I just hear that this ride is very rough and has no airtime, interesting that you liked it. I'd like to revisit Michigan's Adventure.

      In most cases they use yellow southern pine but I'm not 100% on this coaster.

      Back before we opened the guests this year we were going through training I was told we had to run extra cycles commissioning the ride because of recent reconstruction project to smoothen the ride for guests
      I personally have test ridden Wildcat over 5 times ever since and it is much smoother than what I see in these older POV videos

    Patrick . . . out of the 5 remaining Dinn Corporation woodies (this, Wild One, Timber Wolf, Thunder Run and Predator), which one do you like the best?
    I know you mentioned that Timber Wolf got re=profiled for this season . . . .

    • @CoasterFanatics
      @CoasterFanatics  6 лет назад

      Jason Maier since I made this video I really like timberwolf the best although thunder run and wolverine wildcat are pretty good too. Predator was closed when I was at Darien lake but I heard its extremely rough. Wild one I haven't rode yet. Probably next year. But yeah timber wolf is my current favorite but like you said, GCI has done a lot of work to it over the years.

    • @TonyKimtheamusementparkfan
      @TonyKimtheamusementparkfan 3 года назад

      The Wild One was built by PTC, the Dinn Corporation just moved the ride from Paragon Park to Six Flags America. They didn't actually build the ride.

    How bad were Michigan's Adventure's operations? I'm hoping to go out there at some point and just curious so I know what to expect. Also do you have any plans to do park reviews in the future?

    • @CoasterFanatics
      @CoasterFanatics  6 лет назад

      They are pretty slow. I'm not going to lie. Most of their coasters only run one train so wait times can be a problem.

    • @CoasterFanatics
      @CoasterFanatics  7 лет назад +1

      It does have a few similarities however phoenix is a an out and back layout and wolverine wildcat is a double out and back. They do have similar elements though.

      Its a mirror image of Phoenix. Fun Fact is that Dinn actually had part of relocating the Phoenix at Knoebels.

    It's to rough to ride anymore as of 2019. Some of the support boards aren't on the cement anchors anymore. I would say tear it down but we never get new coasters. It's my least favorite coaster ever.
