      Hmm ya, better if it were an 18 year old, right? I'm 55 and trying to get my channel off of the ground as well, and one of my fears is that I'm getting ignored because of my age, which is so, so, sad. Everyone will get older eventually, and no one likes to be thrown to the side and rejected because of something so, superficial, plus we still, have much to offer, well into our years. All of us do.
      Anyway, I'm pleased you enjoyed this man's video and I hope you learned something from it. My Best. Out.

    • @ivanj.conway9919

      @@jamesross8612 : Now that is absolutely, true, My Brother. If people want "reality tv" it's much, much, better for them to check out channels over RUclips here, than that garbage on cable tv anyway. My Best. Out.

    • @ivanj.conway9919
      @ivanj.conway9919 3 года назад

      @Nik Out And About : Well Nik, first off, almost everything you've mentioned here, so far, I've already considered. Secondly, my channel so far, very much, reflects the type of person I'm trying to present here. I am a nature kind of guy, so the lake / forest image at the top of my main, channel, page reflects my personality perfectly, here. Also, of course, the thumbnail photo / image connected with my channel is not of me, naturally, but the me I see myself as on the inside. Some may consider it a bet misleading, but seeing as we are on a site where well over half the people here, don't even, try to have anything accurate to reflect their channels well, it's a bet hypocritical to shoot me down for that. At least, I'm not using the image of some celebrity, fooling people that they are someone who they are not, and which really, should be considered plagiarism or false representation at the very least. Third; I'm not here trying to make money, and I've said that repeatedly, in many of my videos, so far. I'm here to make friends and try to find a life partner, primarily. So keeping that in mind; I don't much, care if my channel appeals to kids or young adults anyway. What would even, be the point in trying to attract people from that age bracket. I'm OK with MATURE, 25 plus year olds, and pretty much, anyone beyond that age bracket. Forth; clearly you have not bothered to take the time to check out any of my videos, as I have explained time and time and time again, what is going on with the thumbnail images, both in the videos and in the descriptions to the videos, as well. Did you take the time to read any of those? This is how fucked up this website is, by not allowing people to upload proper thumbnails of themselves, unless you are willing to pay a small fortune for that simple, little, perk. The thumbnail images are from the videos themselves, and usually, the best from what RUclips usually, allows me to choose from. All that I've explained so many times it's not funny. And lastly; I don't and never have and likely, never will ask for people to subscribe to my channel. Every subscription to my channel so far, I've gained purely, on the power of my comments and replies alone, it seems. Before this channel, I was here as the "whitemannativemind" that's "white man native mind" and I had over 50 subscriptions to that channel purely on the power of the same thing, as I never, ever, asked or begged anyone to subscribe to my channel. I'm quite, proud in gaining subscriptions that way, as I feel that if people truly, feel my channel is worth subscribing to, they will anyway, without me begging and pleading for them to do so. Sadly, that channel got terminated from the RUclips website, without a proper explanation to me as to why, first or last. That was over two years ago now. The channel I'm using now is my google e-mail account. I've been surfing this site for over, eight years now, by the way, if not longer, so not new here, at all.
      Now, all that being said; I do ask for respectful, constructive, criticism all the time, and I DO, thank you for taking the time to suggest ways in which I can gain more viewers. I WILL, take your suggestions into consideration. Thank You.
      Warmest Wishes from Canada. Be Well. Be Safe. Out.

    • @ivanj.conway9919
      @ivanj.conway9919 3 года назад

      @Nik Out And About : PS: One thing you maybe, can help me with; can you suggest a program I can use to edit my videos when I forget myself sometimes and let out the odd, curse word. To be honest with you, I don't even, know how to bleep things out sometimes, when I want to correct something, so simply, leave it and hope for the best. If you've already, included that in your suggestions then thank you. Also, are there programs where I can include background music and won't get copyright notifications for? As I like playing my radio in the background, for background music that way, but every, darn, time I do, I get a copyright notification with the video once it's uploaded. Honestly, I find that the height of ridiculousness, and have even, e-mail RUclips asking them to stop doing that, to no avail it seems. l see one suggestion here, and I'll have a look at that. Thank You.
      Also, please take note of what I've been using to make my videos so far. I've described that in almost, every video I make. I'm using a $50.00 camcorder that is some eight to ten years old, and which is on the way out now, and giving me endless problems. That is why everything is of such poor quality. But I've worn myself out explaining that one. I've been months now, trying to get the money together to get better, and am now, on the verge of doing that. I have $360 odd, dollars to work with now, so if you have any suggestions of what I can get for that, great quality for making RUclips videos, then I'm very happy to get your suggestions. Right now, I'm torn between getting either a GoPro Camera or a Smartphone within that price range. Plus, I understand there are far, far, better camcorders out there, that I can get instead, and for that price, so I should be able to get something decent, and am also, considering that option, as well. The plus with a GoPro is that I can take it out in all kinds of weather, which is a huge, plus when trying to make videos for RUclips. So I remain torn there, as to the best route to go.
      Again, I don't mean to come off rude or snotty here, and I am grateful for your attempt to help me. Thank You.
      Warmest Wishes from Canada. Be Well. Be Safe. Out.

I thought before that I cannot handle the situation I was depressed but my siblings advices me that it’s not the end of my life be thank to GOD THAT MY EX- HUSBAND HAD GONE IN MY LIFE AND I’M free from stress and live on my own with my 2 sons here in Japan but when I will retire I want to go home in my home country Philippines.

Personally, I think that message of not giving up is by far the most important thing to take from this video and your experiences; huge percentage of us, regardless of birth country, go through such dark times where it just doesn't seem worthwhile to keep trying. I think your story, so sincerely and humbly related, may make a difference to one or more who are facing such situations and feelings as you have shared; life in general is rough and can just beat you down at times. As for myself, I struggled with severe depression for many years and found meaning and peace through reading the bible, prayer and my personal relationship with Yeshua (Hebrew name for Jesus) the Christ; this has given me strength for our current time and complete assurance for eternity as well. Thanks for sharing and stay well friend.

    You have been through a lot and it is impressive how you have succeeded in getting up after adversity. I lived in the Philippines in the period from 2006 to 2015, from the age of 51 to the age of 60. Now I'm 67 and I feel I could return to the Philippines again as I miss the social life and the feeling that every day is equal without any stress. But, I think our kids will have a better future with a proper education here in Spain. My Filipina wife does not disagree with that and we will probably stay here, after all, there are palms here too and summer all year round but otherwise very different from the Philippines. Our budget here is on the same level as the Philippines, but this is largely due to the fact that we are included in the Spanish health system where doctors and hospitals are free for us. We save a lot on that as a family. I would probably do the same as you, but I have to think about the consequence it can have on our kids.

    I know 100% what you meant by not having a life in the USA, I feel and felt the same until I went back to school 2 years ago at the age of 39. Loved every minute of it and during the "interview" from a counselor at the school before registering, he talked about some graduates moving to Europe, some in the USA and some on the pacific coast. While I was listening to him, I had a big smile and joined the conversationm and we talked for an hour or so about it.
    Left the school, started the process to go back that fall, and watched tonsss of german youtube for 4 months after, and, I started to get some recommendation videos from other youtubers living outside the USA, and pretty much subscribed to a hand full including yours, then the virus hit a month or so after I started to talk to a business in Germany and the rest is history about the virus.
    So if it's in God's hands I will be Living and working in Germany as soon as possible, I was told by a few European's in the last month (former co-workers) that I reminded them of a German person, :D :D, so time will tell.
    You don't need tons of stuff or money to have an amazing life, you are proof of that along with the people you interview, keep that content going when possible.
    I also love to travel so if I ever get to Philippines and you are still there we should get together and chat, time will tell on that as well obviously.

      Life is very short! Truly it is a journey. Everyday, God is always opening a new door for us. However, sometimes we don't recognize it. It is because we are busy with many things in life that are not necessary. Honestly, simple life is the best life. What really matter is not how big our income is, but how much we save that is vital. Thank you very much for sharing your story. God bless!

    Wow! I like your honesty! I've lived in six states which I'm finalizing in California. Covid has taught me that there is much better in the world than in the US. Homelessness, poverty, racism, shootings, killings, high stress, drug epidemics, inflation on everything, and now seeing thousand with no food in the U.S. is too much! I'm also leaving for Portugal!

    Yup, I was making a nice 6 figure salary as a patent attorney back in 2005. After the 2007 crash lawyers were never in much demand again.

      Jesus loves you, Edgardo! Remember the old song Footprints in the Sand? We’re never alone even in the darkest days of our lives, which is when He carries us! He’s just waiting for you to seek Him with all of your heart! Blessings to you, Edgardo!
