Just ordered this camera....was looking for a good point and shoot with great video to take on a once in a lifetime vacation! Watched your earlier review and now this update. Thanks so much for all the information ! It was really helpful. Now just waiting for it to be delivered ! :)
I know its going to be hard to get Depth of Field and great bokeh with such a small sensor, but can you upload some sample clips where you try? maybe with close up objects and then objects that are far away and kinda big (like a car) and also test out how fast the autofocus is? I know the M3 had issues with Auto focus being really slow so heard they had fixed it on this one.
I understand you're a SCUBA diver yourself? Could tel something about the way you use the camera. I'm specialy interestedin the whitebalance, settings. Do you use a filter on your lens?
Great video, very informative. Unfortunately in Europe it's 1149€ and I just cannot digest that price no matter how much I would like to get this camera. I also find it a joke that Sony charges you for the apps (time lapse etc.) that should be pre-installed or free on a pocket camera at this extra premium price point.

Another fantastic video, I'm still torn though 4k is great to have but its high quality stilts is what I'm really after so I'm looking at this one and the Lumix LX100 or should I wait for the Nikon DL 24-85
Great overview, what camera do you use to record your videos as it's very clear, I am guessing a sony. Interested to know what profile you use, I am trying to find one that I can use that doesn't require a lot of editing so I can just shoot and upload, any tips would be good.
I don’t own this camera yet, it’s on order.. but I *think* the auto focus demo fail here is because you are in macro mode.. if this can be turned off and on. There is a flower icon in the top left.
I just got this camera and when I use continuous autofocus and I press the shutter button half way down, it wabbles in and out of focus. Is this normal?

No doubt A7 is a good camera but a Canon/Nikon full frame DSLR it ain't... yet. Not trying to insult Sony fanboys.
+habitullence Coming from a Canon 5D mk III - I beg to differ. The A7 RII seems like a major upgrade.

Pressing the shutter button half way down itself on any camera means giving it a command to find the subject and lock focus on it. Totally normal!
+Anurag Soni I was originally confused since my A6000 doesn't have a wobble, it just find the subject and locks to it.
Cesar B A6000 has one of the best and fastest autofocusing system in a camera (ever). So it hunting for focus obviously doesn't make any sense😉
