This is such a great camera. The best thing about it for me is that you can literally fit it in your pocket. It's that compact and doesn't weigh you down.
I own the rx100iii it goes with me everywhere and because of that I love it, I can’t say the same of my Fuji x100t, I’m constantly forcing my self to take it instead the Sony but when I’m about to cross the door always go back for the Sony

If not suggest me budget alternatives please (: backstory: I wanted to learn photography. So I got a used Sony A7s2. Then lens I got with it was damaged. Got an RX100 and bought me a ZV-1 M1 (which is kind of the not that much known successor to the RX100 Series) for 300€ used. I really like them both and can't understand why i used a smartphone that often instead of my rx100.
I found one for $80 a few years ago and I use it all the time! Been posting the photos on my insta story, people even though I was shooting on a x100v. I think the original has a certain texture to the images that is really 'film like'.
I own an RX100 (I) for a few years now. Bought it for I think around 200 euros, just to have an edc cam. And it's stil my edc cam. I love it. Don't need a II, or III, or IV...... If you shoot in daylight or sun a lot, Mark 3-5 have a built in ND filter which the 6-7 do not. Imo, the best model is the 3 considering used market prices. I bought my RX100 III three years ago near mint w chargers and strap for about $450. The 5 is good too but I’ve seen them go for $600-700 or more on MPB and KEH which is crazy to be paying that much for a “pocket” camera. With that money you might as well get a few years old M43 or APS-C body paired w a good lens for better photos to get your money’s worth.

I have both, griii is hands down the superior camera for image quality and shooting experience. If you want features, go for the rx100 series. But at the end of the day, the griii has the better lens and the larger sensor.
Shooting with A7iii and had some cool photos with it for shure, but I'm planning to buy that small camera mainly for shooting street photos and just daily photos. I realized that even when i carry my camera with me I don't want to attract to much attention and end up shooting on my phone or not shooting at all 🥲. (Lately tried shooting b&w film and i loved it, tho it's expensive and time consuming to process)
It’s definitely not better than a Fuji x100 but it’s cool as well. I’ve had a bunch of x100V’s and the F and S. Also if you wanna shoot film cheap get a half frame camera. Thank me later. Also just get an older x100 if you want one bad.

Great cinematic review! Music a little bit to loud. Take care!
thoughts on the rx100 vs the gr ricoh?
I have both, griii is hands down the superior camera for image quality and shooting experience. If you want features, go for the rx100 series. But at the end of the day, the griii has the better lens and the larger sensor.
Great message, even greater shots and production (also: you’re cute)
Awesome video bro I might have to scoop up an rx100!
thanks boss! do it, its so much fun!
Puedes decirme cómo consigues ese estilo de foto? Muy bonitas
hey Carter, great video!
what would be a good price for a used rx100 vii nowadays? i was thinking of buying one in perfect condition with an external mic and tripod for 900
I completely agree with you brotha! sooo JUST BOUGHT ONE haha
Wat was this youtube video shot on ?
Nah, for a 1inch sensor I'd have my Fujifilm X10, I still have it for sentimental value. It got me into Fuji cameras.
What’s the exact model of this one?
bought a sony rx100 iv for $127 lmao. Its just the evf doesnt work but everythings work
can you share the preset that you used 🥲
Shooting with A7iii and had some cool photos with it for shure, but I'm planning to buy that small camera mainly for shooting street photos and just daily photos. I realized that even when i carry my camera with me I don't want to attract to much attention and end up shooting on my phone or not shooting at all 🥲. (Lately tried shooting b&w film and i loved it, tho it's expensive and time consuming to process)
Rx100 7 or zv1?
@sarayuchaverah8630 I bought zve10
can you share your lightroom film preset please 🥹
great video! fucking creative
im 100000% copping one
Mine is in the mail as we speak 😁
Is de Sony rx100 better than the iPhone 15 pro Max?
I have 16 pro and rx100v and camera still has better picture for me
This is epic
no you're epic
Which version is this m1/m2/m3?
m1
I have the Sony RX100 Mark iii and also use the canon G16. Boy try the canon G16 then u won’t need a Fuji. Trust me.
Sweet I’ll have to check it out!!
It’s definitely not better than a Fuji x100 but it’s cool as well. I’ve had a bunch of x100V’s and the F and S. Also if you wanna shoot film cheap get a half frame camera. Thank me later. Also just get an older x100 if you want one bad.
this was all fluff w/o some comparisons w/ ur phone at least
Comparing quality of photos was no the point of the video though
@ u put 2 cameras in the title. If comparing them was not the point then u did an inadvertent bait & switch
@@a55tech like I say many times in the video it was all about shooing experience, price and availability. I was Just trying to give people an alternative to the Fujifilm. Never was about photo quality
@ again from the title that ain’t what ppl be expecting when they decide to start the vid. Also they prolly want to know more about IQ more than the other stuff cuz that what a camera do
@@a55tech ill consider that for the next video!
