Thanks for your support! @REGRETLYSS1 spent years on the road in her first bus conversion, Lucky before upgrading to her second bus, Monarch. This 5 window short bus had just 68,000 miles on it's Powerstroke 7.3 diesel engine when she bought it. The interior fit out was a collaboration between @REGRETLYSS1 and the team at Chrome Yellow Corp (recently closed) led by @ChuckCassadyYT who along with his partner Ben Jackson are arguably the most accomplished school bus conversionistas (yes I made that word up) of this past decade. Basically they're the best. Look inside the bus. It's absolutely GORGEOUS and this is a testament to Alyssa, her aesthetic decisions and material choices and the expert craftsmanship of Charlie and his team. I think of this bus as a DIY/Professional collab. Oftentimes the pro builds are missing the charm of a DIY build and the DIY builds are mission the professional fit and finish of the pro jobs. Alyssa's bus is literally the best of both worlds. It is in fact THE BEST SHORTIE EVER BUILT. If you know of a more gorgeous bus conversion please rant and rave about it in the comments below. Totally loving the lay out and the MOST realistic Van tour ever (left over glowstick, crumbs and all) Vans/Buses are LIVED IN and this one sure is that! Wish more people did tours like this! Love your Bus!!!
EXCELLENT build and layout, and bravo to that bathroom! 👍 I just can't take seriously all these vanlifers who pretend they don't need a toilet and shower/tub on board. Almost all "What Van Life Is REALLY LIKE" videos warn about the inconvenience.

And to think I saw an ad a few days ago on FB and the fools actually said that vanlifers and short bussers never use a toilet or shower inside the bus or van so there's no reason to take up valuable space with unused objects, lol 😂. Some of these idiots actually believe they can schedule every single bathroom break andshower for the gym or local truck stop but in reality they just don't know how to do the work or are to cheap to pay someone to do it. A bathroom of some sort is mandatory in anything we live in. They may just be a bucket and sawdust and a second bucket with a sponge and water but you are not a true busser or van lifer without some sort of onboard facilities! These fools are the ones that are just trying to slap together a van or bus as cheaply as they can and use stick up lights and no wiring so they actually do no actual building of a van or bus but try and ride on the coat tailsof quality builders like chuck and say "it's got room for a bath, you just install what you want once you buy it" what a joke these fools are but they sucker folks in with a pretty bed and living area and new folks are blinded by that
I wouldn't want to be one of those who has to find a truck stop or gym to shower. This would a an essential piece for me.

Great build! I don’t think I could live in a van at this point in my life but for some reason I’m obsessed with van/bus-living content😂 I think I just admire people that are willing to downsize, take risks, and live on their own terms. But, I have to say, this little bus is the first build I’ve seen, after watching over a hundred or so videos, that actually seems realistically livable. I totally understand being proud of that bathroom, it’s what made the difference! Well done!
You said exactly how I feel. I am obsessed on watching these. I love this build. Finally a build that doesn't have to be all about a big bed, only what she needs. Love the bath. Her dog looks so content and loved.

Beautiful bus! The inside looks 10 times bigger than the outside. The bathroom is gorgeous! And the bed area looks so cozy with that shelf holding all your precious mementos. And Rio is a beautiful dog

Hello Alyssa ,oh my gosh I want your bus so bad! I watched Chuck Cassidy's video on your bus, it was the best explanation as to what he knew and why he liked this Bus so much. Watching it today brought be back to why I Love this bus! Perfect size to drive, engine strong, Bathroom lg and comfortable with Stain glass window, so Beautiful, huge bed so cozy looking, kitchen faucet gorgeous, the fold out guest bed perfect. The vintage all around sense of style is my style! I am a single woman for the first time in yrs. I have studied buses, RV's for a long time .May I please be the one you consider if you ever sell this Beauty! My Dad just recently passed away , I know he would be proud of his daughter to research , do the homework and I did. He would have chosen this Bus for his only Daughter! Ps isn't there a knob on toilet Chuck Cassidy installed? Because of germs and all around, well you know why. Lol he makes a good point and I thought , right on I would want the knob too. Just contact a bus conversion builder & do this for yourself…. If you wait for other people to help fulfill your dreams, then youll spend your whole life dependent on others & WAITING! Shes actually teaching others to be fearless & grasp life with your whole being!

Your Monarch is beautiful. Every aspect in the bus is perfectly thought out. Love the idea both refrigerator/freezer unit, I also need that for my dog raw food. The bathroom is awesome. This is an absolutely amazing build! She literally raised the roof. Ceiling height is one reason I've avoided skoolies (6'3"), but I may reconsider.

I am a disabled senior that travels in a wheelchair adapt, a 2010 dodge grand caravan. My dream rig is a short wheelchair bus with the wheelchair lift towards the front. Her build is absolutely gorgeous and I love it!.🚐❤️👍🏻🐾🇺🇸☕️🏕️🔥😁☀️🚌
She is living in a house now. I am happy to see the outdoor lighting and cameras. Having daughters her age, I can't imagine how worried I would be if they were living a nomadic life in a bus.

Don't be embarrassed by the little imperfections. It makes the bus feel cozy and lived in, not like some of the bus tours I've seen there the thing looks like an IKEA set up. Your bus is one of my favourites so far. I love it!
