Hi Hugh. I’d just like to take the time to thank you for your videos. I remember you as David Hess and followed your long range delivery missions and starter guides a few years back. Little gem of a channel. You helped me get all engineers and where I am at in the game with a corvette, cutter etc. A big thank you to you, Sir.
You can't, but you'll get that money back many times over from the extra bounty money you'll get. There is an alternative, but it takes longer, so it's more efficient overall to do the deliveries. instead you can do undermining, or crime sweeps, both of which require you to fly to designated areas and blow up opposing power ships deignated "enemy" instead of "wanted". For undermining, you need an FSD interdictor, which you use to hook enemy ships out of supercruise in any enemy control system. Crime sweeps are done in designated systems. You have to look in the tabs on your powerplay page to see if there are any active crime sweeps. In week 2, you only need to delive about 50T to get a total of 100 merit points because you keep 50 points from the previous week, so cost of deliveries is only 1/2 mil.
@@hughjardon3538 thanks I have noticed my bounty rewards are higher when I return to the station so the 50 million a week level 5 would cost more than the bonus?
Sounds like Hugh got results when complaining about having to use a battery to keep the warrant scanner on. It’s now automatic, like the discovery scanner. Of course, it’s a huge jump from transferring from a T6 to a FDL. Still, very good and informative. Leroy
I seem to remember that you had to wait until your Scan was completed before firing or the Kill Warrant Scanner had no effect. I have tried looking this up but can find nothing on it. Of course, I haven't looked this up in the In Game Codex yet. The Dev's are bound to make it clear...only joking. I seem to remember assigning the kill warrant scanner (with fast scan 2 seconds) to the same fire control as my initial attack weapon and although the scan did complete, I got no out of systems bounties.
I had always steered clear of Power Play, partly because I couldn't do with the idiots you see on forums "upset" because you can play it in Solo mode, and partly due to not fully understanding it (because of the ssme idiots) claiming it would break your game as you wouldn't be able to travel outside of your Power Play area because you'd be constantly attacked... But mostly because I quite enjoy playing as a true independent pilot even though in my 'head canon' I'm a Federation pilot 100% 🤷🏻♂️ Anyway keep up the brilliant videos 👍🏻
It's free credits for nothing. Also PP gives access to special weapons, like packhounds; prismatic shields and triple payout for astronomic data.Forget about how everybody else plays the game.

Hi Hugh how can I get around having to pay 200,000 credits every time I want to load more than 25 t to do my weekly delivery thanks?
