Japanese metal is amazing ... and if you like old school metal (NWOBHM), then Lovebites is easily the best. Lovebites is one of the most musically talented metal bands on the planet.
Miyako, the black haired guitarist has studied classical piano for thirty of her thirty-three years and was headed for a career as a classical pianist until she picked up a guitar at the age of eighteen or nineteen and taught herself to play from a teach yourself to play metal course book. She is now not just a virtuoso classical pianist but also a virtuoso guitarist. To appreciate her piano skills check out "Swan Song" (with the Chopin intro). Midori, the blond guitarist studied piano from the age of two until she went to university to study pharmacy. She dropped out of college at twenty to learn to play the guitar at one of Japan's most prestigious music schools in Osaka.
@@BryanPedersen-vd6gy I have pre-ordered Miyako's Opus 23 CD & DVD where she plays her piano versions of six of her favourite HR and HM tracks. I wish she would put out CD/DVDs of her playing some of her C19th Romantics repertoire.
The lead guitarist on stage left, Miyako, is a classically-trained pianist since the age of 3. She likes to seamlessly incorporate neoclassical metal elements into the tracks she composes and arranges. To witness how truly talented these ladies are, I recommend "Swan Song" with Chopin intro LIVE : ruclips.net/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/видео.html and "A Frozen Serenade" LIVE : ruclips.net/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/видео.html , where you'll see piano, classical guitar and ballet dancing,
I love when power/metal musicians analyze a Lovebites song, they know what they're saying and I totally agree. Miyako has a classical music background and she is also a pianist. There are Lovebites songs that incorporate classical piano elements such as: Swan Song, Frozen Serenade, Edge Of The World. All songs make you blown away
After all, the reaction of a musician is fun to watch. It's worth watching dozens of times more than the reaction of someone who has never personally touched an instrument, and I think even more so in the case of the reaction of a technically advanced band like LOVEBITES. Thanks from Japan. 🤘🏻
Great Reaction, and always quite a surprise for musicians to see Lovebites - especially Live. More surprises - *Miyako* (black hair guitar) trained as a classical pianist from age 3. She bought a guitar at 18, taught herself out of a book, and started joining Metalcore bands. *Midori* (blond guitar) took piano, then organ as a child - then she dropped out of pharmacy school, picked up a guitar @ 20 and went to a 'Shred' institute in Tokyo - and joined a Metalcore band. *Asami* (vocals) was a ballerina who discovered she was too short (4'10") to get hired to dance, so she started backup singing, and doing R&B and Soul lounge singing in clubs. She auditioned with Lovebites and sang her first Metal song, Love Bites (and so do I), by Halestorm. They liked her so much they not only hired her, they changed the name of the band to Lovebites. She never really 'belted' before she joined Lovebites. Founders were *Miho* (bass) and *Haruna* (drums) who played together in Destrose, and formed Lovebites in 2016 after destrose broke up. They were the first all-female Japanese band to play Wacken in 2018, won the UK Metal Hammer of the Gods Award in 2018 as best new Metal Band, and toured with Dragon Force in the UK in 2019. Miho quit the band for personal reasons in 2021, and Asami and Miyako had babies. They came back from hiatus with a new bass player ( *Fami* ) in Oct '22, and released the new album Judgement Day in Feb. For a look at the New lineup - *_Judgement Day_* ruclips.net/video/m3uGjp-P7DI/видео.html . To see their Very classical roots, check out *_Swan Song [+Chopin Intro]_* to see Miyako shred a Chopin Etude and segue it into a Thrash masterpiece ruclips.net/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/видео.html (where she shreds the lead solo). Hope you come back for more Lovebites - you will not be disappointed. 🤘🐺🤘
Lovebites are: Asami - One and only voice (vocalist) Miho - natural born head banger (former bassist, founder) Haruna - Little big engine (drummer, founder) Midori - The crazy shredder (guitar, blonde) Miyako - The golden touch (guitar, brunette). Fami - new bassist (okt 2022). Produced various genres of beautiful metal songs (60s) and all were damn good. They love to play live and always become an epic show.👍👍🤘🤘
Love your reaction and comments!!! Lovebites is fantastic, my favorite metal band along with Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Slayer and AC/DC. Thank you, waiting for the next🤘
This band is nothing less but awesome. Classical training and exceptional songwriting and execution. Prepare to deal with an outstanding and very deep rabbit hole 🐺🤘🏻
The blonde guitarist Midori's got proper training at a guitar school. She started her training at her 20. The dirk haired guitarist Miyako started teaching guitar herself at her 18 but she is basically a well trained classic pianist.
Midori Graduated from ESP's Musicians Institute Schooling that many Top Virtuosos players in Japan come from. She Graduate at Instructor Level and is part of the ESP Japan luthier/builder learning programs as artist/instructor. Her Story is a Very Impressive one as with Each of the Members of Lovebites.
At 63 years of age I honestly think that Lovebites are the best band I’ve ever encountered. Not only are they ridiculously talented but they are fun, friendly and very very appreciative of their fan base. The scary thing is that in the time I’ve been watching and listening to them they have audibly and visibly gotten better. They strive to make their latest release an improvement, musically, on their last. Judgement Day, their fourth and latest album is the best metal album I’ve ever heard. I already know that the next will (somehow) top it.
The Blonde guitarist is Midori. She is actually a Fitness and Body builder in Japan. She is even more ripped now as this video is 3 years old. Awesome band that takes Music Theory and Performance too a staggering high level. Shock and Awe.
Yeah apart from her activities with Lovebites (face melting guitar playing etc ) she participates in fitness competitions. I don't think she qualifies in in body building category, but definitely think she is ripped and can flex more muscles then the average internet nerd 😂 ps she has a music and a fitness Instagram account too if you want to check it yourself
Great reaction folks, please reacting to more Lovebites and you will not find a bad song from them. Yes they do have deep classical background, especially Miyako the black hair guitarist. She’s classical trained at the age of three and became a concert pianist. Picked the guitar at 18. These ladies are world class talents and they deserve worldwide recognition.
one of the best Lovebites reactions I have seen! 😃 The things you wondered are probably already said...but I hope you check more. They are so much more than powermetal...
this is one of the best reactions to them, that I know. expertly done. thank you. you´ve noticed their greatness after 14 seconds! that has to be a record. I hope you stick to them. it´s worth it. fellow wolfpack members have already provided you with lots of information and suggestions.
Thank you for your reaction to LOVEBITES. It is a very wonderful reaction. Keep LOVEBITES in your future. Asami(Vo) has been studying classical ballet from the age of 2 to 18. Asami (Vo) was originally an R&B and soul singer. She had never listened to metal music at all, which she says was "music from another dimension. Discover another of Asami's talents, having moved on from R&B and soul. You can then check Asami's wide-range belt from low to high frequencies. Miyako(G, Key and Piano Black hair) started taking piano lessons at the age of 3. At the age of 18, she discovered the electric guitar. Miyako was inquisitive and dexterous in everything she did, so she taught herself with a lesson book, and here she is today. Midori(G) has taken piano lessons since she was 2 years old, electone lessons since she was 13 years old, and electric guitar lessons since she was 20 years old. Midori(G Those without black hair.) was introduced to the electric guitar while attending a well-known, top-ranked Japanese pharmaceutical university. She enrolled in the music school MI JAPAN Osaka to become a guitarist and dropped out of pharmacy school. Haruna(Dr) can also play piano to some extent. Haruna started learning to play the drums at the age of 13. Haruna's amazing endurance, concentration and improved technique have taken LOVEBITES to another level. Haruna's favorite band is "Helloween". Miho(Ba First bassist) can also play piano and drum to some extent. Bassist in this song. Fami(Ba A new bassist) can play bass guitar, lead guitar, piano and violin. Fami is also great at keeping up with Haruna without any difficulty. In Japan, piano lessons are often chosen for early childhood education. The delicate, fast touch of their fingertips may be the result of piano lessons in childhood. P.S. Someone should correct any mistakes!
Great reaction! Welcome to the Wolf Pack! I think Lovebites is the greatest metal band active today. I'm hard-pressed to find that level of talent anywhere else, and every song is amazing. They're even better live than they are in studio. It's unbelievable how tight they are at those speeds, and they all sound amazing. They're my favorite band - especially to listen to live or watch on RUclips, and I hope to figure out a way to go see them live. You're right that some are classically trained. Miyako (guitar stage left) started playing piano at the age of 3 and on graduation from High School, instead of embarking on a career of classical piano, decided to pick up guitar instead. Midori (guitar stage left) went to university for music. Asami, the lead singer, actually was a ballerina for many years, starting very young, until she was told she was too small, and she transitioned over to R&B singing. She did not know what metal even was until she joined Lovebites. You can hear her R&B background in the beginning of songs like Edge of the World and Empty Daydream. Miho (the bassist) and Haruna (the drummer) are metalheads through and through, and were part of a renowned Japanese metal band Destrose before founding Lovebites. If you want to hear them lean into their classical influences, I cannot recommend Swan Song (with the Chopin intro) and Frozen Serenade highly enough. Run, don't walk, to go check those masterpieces out. They go pretty hard in some other songs like Thunder Vengeance (the opener for this show, written by Miho), Break the Wall from this show also, and Set the World on Fire from 2021. They've got some amazing ballads and progressive metal in the aforementioned "E" songs: Empty Daydream, Edge of the World and Epilogue. They have a new album, Judgement Day, from which we have not seen any live video yet from shows, but there are MVs for some tracks, and you'll see the new bassist Fami there. I hope you react to them more, so I subscribed, but I also enjoyed this reaction enough that I think I'll enjoy other bands you do too. Lovebites is the best though! Lol.
Both leads is 100% correct, and the best in the genre! Midori (your Athena) went to music school, Miyako (the Stoic one) self-taught guitar at age 18 and classically trained on piano since age 3. She's a virtuoso, here is evidence. Swan song w/Chopin etude intro live ruclips.net/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/видео.html. It is a masterpiece, 11 out of 10. My favorite band of all time and agreed, the Japanese hard rock / metal scene is oozing with talent, just insane. Great reaction and thank you for supporting Lovebites!
Need to check out Judgement Day to see Midori's triceps after she decided rocking the guitar wasn't enough and went into fitness competitions as well !!
Thanks for reacting to amazing Lovebites and spreading the word; they deserve more recognition. On many occasions first time reactors usually are left speechless, stunned and blown away. These women are extremely talented, skillful and versatile exceptional musicians. They really shine in their live performances. Their main influences are Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, Helloween, Angra, Judas Priest, Dragonforce, and even Gary Moore, but they have been developing their unique style. Some people say that they’re redefining metal. Miyako is also a concert-level classical pianist. Asami used to sing R&B, soul and jazz before she joined Lovebites. Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just six years. Some of their songs are uplifting, with a motivational message. Unfortunately Miho (bass) left the band in August, 2021, but a few months ago the band announced the new bass player, Fami; so now they’re ready to set the world on fire. In an interview, Miho (ex bassist) said that they wanted to play as heavy as men but keeping their femininity. My next suggestions are “Thunder vengeance”, “Break the wall”, “Set the world on fire”, “The awakening/Hammer of wrath”, “Above the Black Sea”, “Under the red sky”, “Scream for me”, “Shadowmaker”, “When destinies align”, “Raise some hell”, “Don’t bite the dust”, “Winds of Transylvania”; and for a different side of them: "Chopin Etude + Swan song”, “Empty daydream”, “Edge of the world”, “Epilogue”, “Glory to the world”, “Frozen serenade”, "Liar", "Spellbound". All live (please avoid Bloodstock because audio is not good, not their fault). BTW, their presentation at Wacken Open Air, Germany, 2018, was so successful. They toured Asia and Europe in 2018 and 2019. They toured the UK in 2019, supporting Dragonforce (they're good friends, by the way) Lineup: Haruna - Drums Miho - Ex Bass, backing vocals Fami - New bassist Midori - Lead & rhythm guitar, backing vocals Miyako - Lead & rhythm guitar, keyboards, classical piano, backing vocals Asami - Lead vocals, some piano
Welcome to Lovebites… the medal of goddess… glad that both of you enjoy the band… I would like to recommend a song called Swan Song with Chopin intro… which they combine metal and classical music… that I think what you will enjoy
Thank you for this first-class reaction video. The best reactors are still the people who make music themselves. A small criticism : The sound for us listeners is a bit strange. Lovebites has been around since 2016, and the women became more famous worldwide after performing at several major festivals, mainly in Europe, starting in 2018. 2018 - Wacken - Open Air in Germany 2018 - Bloodstock Open Air in England 2019 - Graspop Metal Meeting Festival in Belgium 2019 - Download Festival in Spain In 2020, their career was abruptly interrupted by Corona. But they masterfully overcame the crisis, got married and had babies. In 2021 the founder Miho left the band for personal reasons and it went into a hiatus which lasted until the end of 2022. In the fall of 2022 they found a young fantastic bass player and in 2023 they released a new LP. The new LP reached the 5th place in the Japanese charts. Japan is the 2nd largest music market in the world and it is very rare that in these times a rock band comes so far forward. I've been a big LOVEbites fan for 3 years and fans never get enough of it so : S u g g e s t i o n s for next reaction V i d e o 's: (Copy the following sentence lines and enter them into the RUclips search bar, you will find the videos) New Songs from the new LOVEBITES - LP Judgement Day : LOVEBITES music video - Stand and deliver 2023 LOVEBITES music video - Judgement Day 2022 Songs ALL LIVE !!! Excuse me, my dear fellows. The pebbles you just picked up are actually precious gems. Come over here and take a look, there are even more gems in this rabbit hole. Come closer and have a peek. Right this way. ✨🥰🤘
I very much enjoyed your reaction (also, I have to check out your own stuff, what I heard at the beginning didn't seem bad at all from the few seconds you played it). I smiled when you said something like "they all learn classical music to perfection, and then they see like Metallica or Iron Maiden and think, 'Hey, we can do that better'", because that's more or less what happened, at least for some members. Both Midori ("Athena") and Miyako ("the focused one") started to learn piano at age 2 and 3, respectively, and got into guitar only in their late teens. Midori went to a prestigious music college in Osaka, but I don't know if she learned classical guitar; she can play Spanish guitar though. She listens to everything from Megadeth to Bruno Mars to gospel to deathcore, but decided to focus on technical metal guitar playing specifically because she wanted a challenge. Her band before Lovebites played some sort of anarchic metalcore. Btw, you should see her triceps now, and also the rest of her muscles: she has taken to bodybuilding, runs in Japanese competitions and last year made second place somewhere. Miyako is self-taught on guitar, I believe. She's also still a mean pianist who will throw in a Chopin etude in their concerts from time to time, and she also plays the keys for the band in the studio (they mostly use backing tracks for the keys live). Her formative influences are classical music (big time, especially Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Liszt, Beethoven) and classic rock, especially Deep Purple and Rainbow, but also artists like Michael Jackson and Elton John. She was in a melodic hard rock band before Lovebites that was already fairly well known in Japan, called 21g (21 grams). The singer (Asami) does *not* have a classical background, as far as I know; she used to be an R'n'B cover singer doing bar gigs and a rock background singer before Lovebites and was kind of surprised when the other ladies recruited her from a demo tape. ("I'm supposed to sing metal? Is there anything special I need to do?") Fast forward seven years, and she writes some of their heaviest and thrashiest tracks; she has come to love thrash metal in particular. While she was unfamiliar with actual metal before Lovebites, she was a Halestorm fan, and the band is called after Halestorm's song "Love Bites (And So Do I)". The bassist you see here (Miho) and the drummer (Haruna) were in an all-female metal band called Destrose together, which disbanded in 2014/15. Destrose never really went anywhere, but they were one of the first bands of the all-female metal wave in Japan, and the band has spawned through its ex-members numerous acts that are names in Japanese metal today: Mary's Blood, Nemophila, Mardelas, Fate Gear etc. Miho always was the quintessential metalhead, a big Iron Maiden fan. For reasons that have not been made entirely clear, she left Lovebites in 2021. (We are left to speculate because the Japanese are very tight-lipped about these matters.) The band issued a casting call to everyone everywhere all at once (great movie) to send in demos, and after a lengthy process, last year they got a 20-year old bass wunderkind called Fami who already had her own first EP out and became known through RUclips. www.youtube.com/@fami4906 They published their latest (fourth) studio album Judgement Day with Fami playing this year in February. Can't say much about Haruna the drummer, she's the quietest and the tiniest of them all (4'8'' I think). I do know she was initially more into Japanese rock music as a teen until she saw Helloween and wanted to drum like that; she also knows a bit of piano, and you're right, they all do, they take their musical education really seriously. If you want to do another reaction to them, practically every song is great (and most are better than Holy War songwriting-wise, that song is overhyped IMO), and I'm not fawning, they seriously have very good songwriting as well. But I'd recommend you three songs for a potential second reaction: With their new bassist, a Motörhead-inspired crowd pleaser: Stand And Deliver ruclips.net/video/4ImGA7cPyrs/видео.html&pp=ygUbbG92ZWJpdGVzIHN0YW5kIGFuZCBkZWxpdmVy Thrash: Break The Wall ruclips.net/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/видео.html&pp=ygUYbG92ZWJpdGVzIGJyZWFrIHRoZSB3YWxs Power metal/thrash hybrid, great song: Set The World On Fire ruclips.net/video/99zsH6iG_6c/видео.html&pp=ygUfbG92ZWJpdGVzIHNldCB0aGUgd29ybGQgb24gZmlyZQ%3D%3D Thanks for your time.
The band is named after the Grammy winning Halestorm song Love Bites (So Do I). If you think Midori has nice muscles here, check out their new songs, Judgement Day or Stand and Deliver (Shoot 'em Down). In between , she got into competition bodybuilding while the band was on hiatus after the original bassist left in 2021. Heard she placed 2nd in one.
Miyako, dark haired guitarist, has been training in classical piano since she was 3, when she was in high school she taught herself how to play guitar. You can hear her skill on the piano if you react to Swan Song with a Chopin Intro and pretty much all the ladies can play piano. Midori, blond guitarist, took lessons in guitar when she was in high school and is also a competitive bodybuilder/fitness model.
Female metal bands in Japan started actually around 40 years ago (the best known is SHOW-YA ... and they're still around!), it's not a new thing at all. But Lovebites bring their own style to the table, with their strong european metal influences mixed with their classical roots. They kill for sure.
dude your facial reactions were priceless can't wait to see you react to one of there faster songs lol ty "Dissonance" off the newest record Judgement day for some truly mind lowing guitar work
Midori, the lead guitarist doing the amazing power stances if you would believe it is only 4'11" tall. She quit a pharmacy university at 20 years old to learn how to play guitar. She grew up playing an electric organ. Since the pandemic and their year and a half hiatus (2021-2022), she began working out and is now a body builder & fitness competitor. She is even more shredded than what you see in this video. The other member with the power stance is bassist and band founder, Miho at 5'1". She is the true metalhead of the group. Sadly she left Lovebites in 2021. But a new talented 20 year old bassist has since joined after a massive audition. The other lead guitarist Miyako played piano since the age of 3-4 and is a concert level classical pianist. She picked up and self-taught herself the electric guitar at 17-19 years old. She also self-taught herself to play bass and drums. She is 5'2"-3" tall. Vocalist Asami has an R&B and Soul singer. She is only 5 ft tall. She grew up playing the piano. Asami also might be the only former ballerina in all of metal history. She was a ballerina for some 15 years until she graduated from high school. You can see it in Asami's arm movements during their live concerts. She moved to LA after High school to learn Hip Hop and Jazz dance. Asami didn't know heavy metal at all and was surprised that she could sing higher longer notes until after she joined Lovebites. She was a lounge singer and a backup singer for some J-Pop artists and J-Rock bands. Asami speaks the most English of the group though not entirely fluent. Midori is the other who can speak in English. The drummer who is relentlessly bashing on her huge drum kit is Haruna. She grew up playing the piano and is at an unbelievable 4'9" tall.
Congratulations, you just found the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they searched for a new bassist. They announced the new bassist in October 2022 (see below) and dropped their first new song on December 22. Their new album, “Judgement Day”, was released two months later. Some background: They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and founder of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the great European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other groups. The four of them then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she was also trained in ballet). Miyako has composed a little more than half of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics and is also getting involved in composing. In mid-2021, Miho left the band she had founded, for personal reasons. They went on hiatus while they searched for a new bassist, and during that time, two of them had babies, even as the band were writing and rehearsing their new album. They recently announced the new bassist, Fami, who is a young phenom and herself a composer and multi-instrumentalist. Their first song with Fami is “Judgement Day” ruclips.net/video/m3uGjp-P7DI/видео.html The instrumentalists studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance was that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like crazy). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band." Here are more clips you should check out: “Set the World on Fire” ruclips.net/video/99zsH6iG_6c/видео.html from their 2021 concert DVD “Heavy Metal Never Dies”. “Don’t Bite the Dust” ruclips.net/video/oHnKGEj1CMc/видео.html, from the same concert; "Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: ruclips.net/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/видео.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope. Also, “Empty Daydream”, which starts as a ballad and becomes a real rocker: ruclips.net/video/lXh_uMM94jU/видео.html; Perhaps their greatest masterpiece, a showcase of multi-instrumental virtuosity and even classical dance “A Frozen Serenade” ruclips.net/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/видео.html. Miyako is also a virtuoso concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar. If you want to see what she can do on the piano, watch “Swan Song” WITH the prelude, which is Chopin’s “Revolutionary Etude” (official name Étude Opus 10, No. 12 in C minor). Miyako wrote “Swan Song” using elements from several classical pieces including the Etude. This link should work: ruclips.net/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/видео.html. For a thrasher with heavy Slayer and Metallica vibes, “Break the Wall” ruclips.net/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/видео.html includes two gorgeous and completely contrasting solos by M&M. For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” ruclips.net/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/видео.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both) While you will sometimes hear you should only react to live clips, actually their MV’s are epic and worth seeing. Here are four of the most spectacular: "Shadowmaker" ruclips.net/video/Brmoln5Gxus/видео.html This is the song that blew up and melted faces all over the world "When Destinies Align" ruclips.net/video/hLFelI93VkM/видео.html "Glory to the World" ruclips.net/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/видео.html "Winds of Transylvania" ruclips.net/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/видео.html. Finally, the audio tracks of some of the new album are up on youtube, and worth checking out. The band clearly came out swinging and wanted to make a statement. Every song on the album is a showcase of their incredible talent and songwriting capabilities. “Stand and Deliver” is a thrasher with a fun video of them in the studio. “Soldier Stands Solitarily”, the final song on the album, is being touted by some as the best thing they’ve done so far-I encourage you to see and decide for yourself! You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the sound quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Also, you can’t go wrong with any of their official clips. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!
I can tell you need some more Lovebites :) go for Swan Song (with Chopin intro) to see their more classical side, or Set the World on Fire for their heavier side, or A Frozen Serenade for their softer side, or Break the Wall to see how the previous two sides blend together, or Raise Some Hell for their funnier side, or Signs of Deliverance, or Scream for Me, for their guitar madness side. Happy journey!
Appreciat your reaction due to your musical background. Lovebites is a good example that japan or european metal is better than american metal. Everything else about LOVEBITES is written in other comments. Would appreciate more LOVEBITES reactions. From Germany with best regards Mat
Hello from France: Welcome to the heart of the Wolfpack, that's what the world of Lovebites fans is called. 😇 I quite agree with you about the position of the fingers of the two guitarists. Midori (Blonde in a ponytail, left of screen), puts her left hand fingers as perfectly as a classical musician, which makes her playing not only very fast, but also a very elegant guitar outfit . Note also the precision and economy of movement of his right hand which also contribute to the speed of his playing. As for Miyako (dark hair, stage right), her neck and pick playing is more similar to the playing of traditional rock guitarists. Anyway, they are both equally remarkable and virtuoso and their different styles, both on stage and their respective games, make them very complementary and a unique accomplice duo... Asami, vocals, comes from R&B and Lovebites is his first metal rock band. Miho (founder of the group and present on this video) left the group in the summer of 2021 and was recently replaced by Fami, a young girl in her twenties, but a true bass prodigy. Haruna, the drummer, sometimes nicknamed "nuclear drum engine" is an outstanding and tireless drummer. She is, with Miho, co-founder of the group...
Great reaction. I love watching the chins of first timers to LOVEBITES hit the floor 😂. I see a lot of info has already been posted in the comments so I'll just add that the muscles, on one of the guitarists that you noticed, are much more pronounced now (see their MV Judgement Day) and that the singer is a lofty 4ft 10in. The drummer (the awesome Haruna) is only 4ft 9in.
Great reaction by both of you both of them are lead guitar and both of them start learning guitar at the age of 18 and 19 like that and the vocalist is from an RnB background next you may try the song with a piano intro called Swan Song.
The guitarist " M & M " Midori ( blonde ) & Miyako both grew up playing piano. Miyako didn't pick up a guitar until she was 18 and taught herself how to play. At the age of 20, Midori dropped out of one school to attend another school for guitar. To check out their classical influence, try the song " Chopin Intro + Swan Song. " 😏❤️🎙🎸🎹🥁😎🤘
LOVEBITES - Holy War lyrics: Look at those black clouds, it’s going to rain blood People live in fear, covered in mud Singing oh Gloria to change the prophecy We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for sisters There is a thousand, a thousand of evils Hush, do not wake up Satan’s devils Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for brothers Shining blade and burning heart Into the Gates of Hell we march Immortal soul, let there be light Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun We are one for all and all for one forevermore SOLO: midori Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall Reincarnation, wait for your call Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for sisters Morning star and dying moon Into the Gates of Hell we march Mighty soul, let there be hope Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight? The only one with a classical background (afaik) is Miyako, the dark haired guitarist. As good as she is on guitar, she is better on the piano, as she's been playing piano since she was three. She plays Chopin live: ruclips.net/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/видео.html&ab_channel=Hadesillo The singer Asami has a jazz/R&B background and had never sang metal before joining the band.
I would definitely recommend the version of "Scream For Me" from their DVD 'Live From Abyss' that's an incredible performance which hasn't been reacted to to death. Its from a studio stream during COVID that doesn't get its deserved due because the entire band shines; from Asami's vocals, Miho's bass, Haruna pace and fills, and a finish of Miyako and Midori performing a 90 seconds shred exchange. I can't put the link in, but search as "Lovebites- Scream For Me [Awake Again - Live From Abyss]" and it should be easy to find. Again, its a live studio stream.

Midori, the left blond guitarist, went from the classical guitar study, but the right black guitarist learned the guitar herself at 18 from a Manual : "Guitar from dummies", but she begun the piano study at 3 and now are about 30 years of practise. The next video could be (for watch her skills on piano): Chopin etude+Swan song. Thanks.
You should try the cellar, much better live sound direct from the speakers. Here, sometimes you can still here some treble and a bit of medium. Midori puts the pick in her mouth to tap, the man notices the muscular arm...
Want to talk about triceps and biceps? Watch one of their newer videos "Judgement Day" Midori, blonde guitar player, is a competitive bodybuilder. Her arms are JACKED in that video! 👍. Oh , it's a great song as well!
I'd also recommend reacting to stuff from the new album with new bassist Fami Holy War still had original bassist and founder Miho they both are awesome Here's the title track from the new album and Fami gets the lead in and outtro Judgement Day ruclips.net/video/IF3NLN4D6a4/видео.html
Thanks for the reaction! LOVEBITES is a heavy metal band that mainly plays speed, thrash, power, progressive metal, classical music. Some of the band's songs contain elements of hard rock and symphonic metal. LOVEBITES is the best thing that has appeared in the world of metal in the last 20 years . You will be able to verify this if you continue your journey into the World of LOVEBITES (since 2017, the band has recorded about 60 original songs and musical compositions + 3 covers of songs from other bands : HALESTORM ,HELLOWEEN, JUDAS PRIEST ). LOVEBITES is a phenomenal band, all the ladies are talented, extraordinarily technical musicians ! But, unfortunately, for most metal fans in Europe and America, LOVEBITES is like a distant planet in the Galaxy, the existence of which they do not even suspect.☹ LOVEBITES are the GODDESSES of heavy metal! These Ladies play like GODDESSES , are dressed as GODDESSES of Ancient Greece (white dresses with gold), won the prestigious Metal Hammer GOLDEN GODS Award for "Best New Band" ( 2018, London, UK). The winners of the GOLDEN GODS Award in different years and in various categories were such famous bands and musicians, such as: BLACK SABBATH, IRON MAIDEN, MOTöRHEAD, JUDAS PRIEST, TWISTED SISTER, OZZY OSBOURNE, LEMMY KILMISTER, ZAKK WYLDE, NIKKI SIXX, JOE PERRY, ANTHRAX, SLAYER, TESTAMENT, SAXON, NIGHTWISH, TRIVIUM, RAMMSTEIN, SABATON, CHILDREN OF BODOM, ARCH ENEMY, MACHINE HEAD (and this is not a complete list). Although some well-known music critics call LOVEBITES the QUEENS of metal.🤗 LOVEBITES is a Japanese all-female heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by former Japanese heavy metal band DESTROSE members Miho( bass, backing vocals) and Haruna(drums). The band has successfully performed at various major international rock-festivals many times .In the spring of 2018, LOVEBITES performed on the Japanese leg of the Warped Tour. In August 2018, they performed at Wacken Open Air (Germany), becoming the first Japanese all-female rock band to perform at the festival in the history of the festival (since 1990). Also in August 2018 they performed on the main stage of Bloodstock Open Air (UK). In 2019, LOVEBITES performed at the Download Festival in Donington (UK) and Download Festival in Madrid (Spain). Their performance in Donington was named by the festival organizers and Metal Hammer magazine as one of the highlights of the festival! In the same year they performed at the Graspop Metal Meeting (Belgium) and the Summer Sonic Festival (Japan). Unfortunately, the Covid pandemic that began in 2020 prevents LOVEBITES from performing at festivals and forced a drastic reduction of concerts. LOVEBITES' third Studio Album "Electric Pentagram" (2020) was included by Metal Hammer (April 2020) in "Top 20 Metal Albums of 2020" list. LOVEBITES' EP "Glory, Glory, to the World" (2021) was nominated for the 2021 Global Metal Apocalypse Award as "Global Metal Release of the Year" and won #2 place. LOVEBITES' fourth Studio Album "Judgement Day" (February 22, 2023) topped the iTunes Metal Chart on its first day of release in countries:: JAPAN: #1; UK: #1; US: # 1; CANADA: #1; GERMANY: #1; SPAIN: #1; AUSTRALIA: #1 ; NETHERLANDS: #1; SWEDEN: #1; FRANCE: #2 P.S. On your RUclips channel, among other bands, you wrote about TRIVIUM. Guitarist Matt Heafy ( TRIVIUM ) posted covers of two LOVEBITES songs on his RUclips channel: "Above the Black Sea" and "Epilogue".😊

You have just witnessed the METAL GODDESSES, continue your journey, and you’ll see for yourself!! Classical ,yes , check out Swan Song, with Chopin Etude, performed by the dark hair guitarist,MIYAKO, who is classically trained !🤘🐺🤘🔥❤️
Baby Metal aren't a band. They are an idol group with session musicians supporting them. Lovebites on the other hand are an actual band, and a brilliant one at that. Also, your sound quality is quite muffly and it is also in mono, which really takes away from the experience. Lovebites really needs to be listened to in stereo, as you hear different things in different ears.
There is so much going on in their music that gets lost with bad quality sound … The harmonizing guitars separated in the left and right ear from each guitarist. You can’t really hear the baseline. A lot of drum fills and creative cymbal hits by Haruna get lost.
You won’t go wrong if you go down the Lovebites rabbit hole. Others have already mentioned it so I’ll second the motion, you might really enjoy their performance of Swan Song with Chopin Intro where you get to see Miyako shred on the piano.😊
We did, it’s just that I only have one mic picking up sound from my camera at the moment. The RUclips video is mono but that’s not what we are hearing in the room.
Awesome! Yennefer you are so right, most of them started on piano as a child and picked up metal because of bands like Metallica and Iron Maiden!! The exception being the singer Asami who came from a ballet and singing R&B and Soul before joining Lovebites!! Despite being mainly known as a power metal band they play many different styles and feels!! From ballads to speed metal and all in between!! They just released their brand new album after a long hiatus due to the bassist seen here Miho, also band founder, leaving the band mid-pandemic. The new bassist is Fami and can be seen in their new song Judgement Day - ruclips.net/video/m3uGjp-P7DI/видео.html Enjoy!! 🤘😊
I don‘t think the hiatus was so long. A lot of bands take longer breaks between recording and touring. IMO it‘s normal to wait three years or longer for a new album of most bands. For all what happened between 2020 and 2023 (covid, Miho left, 2 babys, the auditions) LOVEBITES didn’t let us wait extremely long, quite the contrary…
Lovebites is the best metal band on the planet (all genders). Next up: Nemophila (all-female metal from Japan, they've just toured in the US). One of their epic covers would give you a good idea, Foo Fighters / Walk: ruclips.net/video/qqxqEcRUj14/видео.html
Great reaction. Subbed \m/ \m/ Lovebites is a fun musical journey to undertake and I don't think I have anything that I could add that the Wolfpack fans haven't already in the 150 plus or so comments before mine as they have suggested a myriad of songs to react to next. I second "Swan Song," "A Frozen Serenade," and an "Empty Daydream" along with "Set the World on Fire" and "Thunder Vengeance." EDIT: And you will probably get a lot of suggestions for other Japanese rock and metal bands in the comments, especially for Band-Maid and Nemophila, two also very talented all ladies carrying the metal torch on. For Nemophila, I'd recommend the official live video of "Dissension" or "Orian," and for Band-Maid probably either "Domination" or "Freedom;" although, they do have a recent new live vid of "No God"
They are good - scary good. They are playing against a click track so that they can play all in unison, even though the guitarists are far from each other. And this is needed at this ridiculous speed, they are all playing in sync on milli second level. They had a time when they did not play, partly due to covid but mainly due to their basist Miho left them for personal reasons. But, they are back with a new fantastic bass player, Fami. There are two nice videos (not live) with the new set up in "Judgement day" and "Stand up and deliver". Well worth looking at. In particular I like the "Stand up and deliver", it is both musically good and also shows more personal sides of the band members.
Hello guys, y'all who likes Lord of the Rings iknow an album y'all could react to that is just about lord of the rings. It's from the singer called Bob Catley from the band Magnum. He had an solo project and made an great album called Middle Earth so I really recommend it, of y'all loves Tolkien lotr and fantasy
Welcome to the world of Lovebites - blistering fast guitar solos, pounding and relentless drums and bass, and powerful soaring vocals. In 2018 Lovebites won the Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. Now do "Set the World on Fire" live next.
metal + grace + elegance + beauty + sympathy + great musicians + great songs = LOVEBITES !!!
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Yes, you must check out Swan Song with the Chopin intro to appreciate Miyako’s skills on the piano.
@@BryanPedersen-vd6gy I have pre-ordered Miyako's Opus 23 CD & DVD where she plays her piano versions of six of her favourite HR and HM tracks. I wish she would put out CD/DVDs of her playing some of her C19th Romantics repertoire.
30 of her 33 years implies she was playing the classical piano from birth... I would love to have seen that.
@@skoob-kq7ms I’ve heard it on Spotify.
@@richardjaimepr She started at age 3.
Totally agreed with what you said 🤘
Welcome to lovebites, for me this is the best metal band out, LOVEBITES ROCK

Thanks for reacting to LOVEBITES. I would recommend LOVEBITES "Judgment Day"
I think you will love it. 🤘🐺🔥
Lovebites are:
Asami - One and only voice (vocalist)
Miho - natural born head banger (former bassist, founder)
Haruna - Little big engine (drummer, founder)
Midori - The crazy shredder (guitar, blonde)
Miyako - The golden touch (guitar, brunette).
Prepare to deal with an outstanding and very deep rabbit hole 🐺🤘🏻
these Ladies are friggin amazing, videos are great, LIVE is even better, this is a journey you will enjoy
LOVEBITES 🐺 INCREDIBLE
I don't think she qualifies in in body building category, but definitely think she is ripped and can flex more muscles then the average internet nerd 😂
ps she has a music and a fitness Instagram account too if you want to check it yourself
They are so much more than powermetal...
welcome to the world of Lovebite's the world of beautiful ballads, heavy, power, speed, thrash metal.
this is one of the best reactions to them, that I know. expertly done. thank you. you´ve noticed their greatness after 14 seconds! that has to be a record.

Doesn't Miyako write all the music too?
@@boki1693She writes little more the half their music.
They toured the UK in 2019, supporting Dragonforce (they're good friends, by the way)
Lineup:
Haruna - Drums
Miho - Ex Bass, backing vocals
Fami - New bassist
Midori - Lead & rhythm guitar, backing vocals
Miyako - Lead & rhythm guitar, keyboards, classical piano, backing vocals
Asami - Lead vocals, some piano
Here for my daily Lovebites fix 🐺
Welcome to Lovebites… the medal of goddess… glad that both of you enjoy the band… I would like to recommend a song called Swan Song with Chopin intro… which they combine metal and classical music… that I think what you will enjoy
Thank you for this first-class reaction video. The best reactors are still the people who make music themselves.
A small criticism : The sound for us listeners is a bit strange.
Lovebites has been around since 2016, and the women became more famous worldwide after performing at several major festivals, mainly in Europe, starting in 2018.
2018 - Wacken - Open Air in Germany
2018 - Bloodstock Open Air in England
2019 - Graspop Metal Meeting Festival in Belgium
2019 - Download Festival in Spain
In 2020, their career was abruptly interrupted by Corona.
I've been a big LOVEbites fan for 3 years and fans never get enough of it so : S u g g e s t i o n s for next reaction V i d e o 's:

Great content, thanks for reviewed Lovebites.
Swan Song is another masterpiece
Also piano featured in this concert are:
Edge of the world
Rising
But Swan Song has the most impressive piano part
Swan song lives next..with chopin piano intro by Miyako the black hair guitarist
But I'd recommend you three songs for a potential second reaction:
With their new bassist, a Motörhead-inspired crowd pleaser: Stand And Deliver ruclips.net/video/4ImGA7cPyrs/видео.html&pp=ygUbbG92ZWJpdGVzIHN0YW5kIGFuZCBkZWxpdmVy
Thrash: Break The Wall ruclips.net/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/видео.html&pp=ygUYbG92ZWJpdGVzIGJyZWFrIHRoZSB3YWxs
Power metal/thrash hybrid, great song: Set The World On Fire ruclips.net/video/99zsH6iG_6c/видео.html&pp=ygUfbG92ZWJpdGVzIHNldCB0aGUgd29ybGQgb24gZmlyZQ%3D%3D
Thanks for your time.
My favourite band.
They kill for sure.
dude your facial reactions were priceless can't wait to see you react to one of there faster songs lol ty "Dissonance" off the newest record Judgement day for some truly mind lowing guitar work
Swan Song with the Chopin intro, it's all I'm going to say.😊
LOVEBITES RULES🤘🔥🔥🔥
Midori, the one who's triceps you mentioned, has competed in international amateur body building competitions.
"Swan Song" (with the Chopin intro) and Frozen Saranade will fit you perfectly
Congratulations, you just found the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they searched for a new bassist. They announced the new bassist in October 2022 (see below) and dropped their first new song on December 22. Their new album, “Judgement Day”, was released two months later. Some background:
They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981).
Their first song with Fami is “Judgement Day” ruclips.net/video/m3uGjp-P7DI/видео.html
The instrumentalists studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc.
As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band."
Here are more clips you should check out:
“Set the World on Fire” ruclips.net/video/99zsH6iG_6c/видео.html from their 2021 concert DVD “Heavy Metal Never Dies”.
“Don’t Bite the Dust” ruclips.net/video/oHnKGEj1CMc/видео.html, from the same concert;
"Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: ruclips.net/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/видео.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope.
Also, “Empty Daydream”, which starts as a ballad and becomes a real rocker: ruclips.net/video/lXh_uMM94jU/видео.html;
Perhaps their greatest masterpiece, a showcase of multi-instrumental virtuosity and even classical dance “A Frozen Serenade” ruclips.net/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/видео.html.
For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” ruclips.net/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/видео.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both)
While you will sometimes hear you should only react to live clips, actually their MV’s are epic and worth seeing. Here are four of the most spectacular:
"Shadowmaker" ruclips.net/video/Brmoln5Gxus/видео.html
This is the song that blew up and melted faces all over the world
"When Destinies Align" ruclips.net/video/hLFelI93VkM/видео.html
"Glory to the World" ruclips.net/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/видео.html
"Winds of Transylvania" ruclips.net/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/видео.html.
The sound is fantastic.
I can tell you need some more Lovebites :)
go for Swan Song (with Chopin intro) to see their more classical side, or
Set the World on Fire for their heavier side, or
A Frozen Serenade for their softer side, or
Break the Wall to see how the previous two sides blend together, or
Raise Some Hell for their funnier side, or
Signs of Deliverance, or Scream for Me, for their guitar madness side. Happy journey!
Appreciat your reaction due to your musical background.
Lovebites is a good example that japan or european metal is better than american metal.
Everything else about LOVEBITES is written in other comments.
Would appreciate more LOVEBITES reactions.

Hello from France:
Welcome to the heart of the Wolfpack, that's what the world of Lovebites fans is called. 😇
I quite agree with you about the position of the fingers of the two guitarists.

LOVEBITES - Holy War lyrics:
Look at those black clouds, it’s going to rain blood
People live in fear, covered in mud
Singing oh Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters
There is a thousand, a thousand of evils
Hush, do not wake up Satan’s devils
Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers
Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and all for one forevermore
SOLO: midori
Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall
Reincarnation, wait for your call
Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters
Morning star and dying moon
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Mighty soul, let there be hope
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal
What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight?
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
Only have one thing on our mind
Facing the fate, holy war
SOLO: miyako / midori / both
Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers
Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and all for one forevermore
What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight?
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
Only have one thing on our mind
Facing the fate, holy war

Miyako(dark hair ) and Midori (blond) are both classical trained pianist : you haven't seen nothing yet and the wolfpack( fans )will be here soon 🤘🔥🔥🔥🇿🇦🐺🤘
Bloody Lovebites 🐺 I love'em
Next LoveBites song: “Break The Wall” Live! 🎸🔥🎸🔥🤘
The only one with a classical background (afaik) is Miyako, the dark haired guitarist. As good as she is on guitar, she is better on the piano, as she's been playing piano since she was three. She plays Chopin live: ruclips.net/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/видео.html&ab_channel=Hadesillo
The singer Asami has a jazz/R&B background and had never sang metal before joining the band.

Stay safe. Stay Lovebites
Thanks.
Lovebites 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻❤❤❤❤❤
You should try the cellar, much better live sound direct from the speakers. Here, sometimes you can still here some treble and a bit of medium. Midori puts the pick in her mouth to tap, the man notices the muscular arm...
Swansong with the Chopin Intro, try that next from Lovebites
I lovee your reactions... Thank you...
Thank you so much!!
But, unfortunately, for most metal fans in Europe and America, LOVEBITES is like a distant planet in the Galaxy, the existence of which they do not even suspect.☹
LOVEBITES are the GODDESSES of heavy metal!
Although some well-known music critics call LOVEBITES the QUEENS of metal.🤗
LOVEBITES is a Japanese all-female heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by former Japanese heavy metal band DESTROSE members Miho( bass, backing vocals) and Haruna(drums).
LOVEBITES' fourth Studio Album "Judgement Day" (February 22, 2023) topped the iTunes Metal Chart on its first day of release in countries:: JAPAN: #1; UK: #1; US: # 1; CANADA: #1; GERMANY: #1; SPAIN: #1; AUSTRALIA: #1 ; NETHERLANDS: #1; SWEDEN: #1; FRANCE: #2
P.S. On your RUclips channel, among other bands, you wrote about TRIVIUM. Guitarist Matt Heafy ( TRIVIUM ) posted covers of two LOVEBITES songs on his RUclips channel: "Above the Black Sea" and "Epilogue".😊
Judgement Day was on #4 in general iTunes Charts worldwide first day after release …
@@stand.and.deliver.5 I told you where you can see that "Judgement Day" was # 1. But my answer disappeared for some reason (possibly blocked). I'll try to repeat.
I indicated the data published by the record company Victor Entertainment, as well as LOVEBITES after the release of the Album "Judgement Day" (February 22, 2023). You can see this data if you look, for example, official accounts:
- VICTOR ROCKS ( Official JVC/Victor / Victor Entertainment, account for rock/metal)
- LOVEBITES .
Tweets February 22-23, 2023 and beyond. 🤗
Plus VICTOR ROCKS is attaching screenshots of the Metal Charts in the US and the UK ( Feb 22 , 2023):
# 1 in the list of 30 albums (including albums by METALLICA, IRON MAIDEN, OZZU OSBOURNE, TRIVIUM, MACHINE HEAD, BLACK SABBATH, SLIPKNOT, RAMMSTEIN, PANTERA and others)
@@GrayFox14
I know they were on #1 of the iTunes Metal charts in several countries, I looked up various sources for it myself after the release.
But I meant the general charts for all music genres worldwide, there Judgement Day was on #4, only an artist called Pink! with her new album and two others I don’t remember where higher …
@@stand.and.deliver.5 Thanks for clarifying.🤝 I understood you. My first reply was blocked for some reason. Perhaps YT considered the name of companies and accounts as advertising... 🤔My messages are sometimes blocked for some reason when I give links to songs, to the media or social networks where you can find interesting information about songs or bands.
@@GrayFox14 I have the same issue with blocked messages. Especially when I try to tell the reactors to subscribe to the artist channel. I believe that‘s something YT does not like …
The Song "Epilogue" masterpiece
There is so much going on in their music that gets lost with bad quality sound …
The harmonizing guitars separated in the left and right ear from each guitarist.
You can’t really hear the baseline.
A lot of drum fills and creative cymbal hits by Haruna get lost.
A couple of suggestions for other great Japanese bands to check out:
Band Maid - "From Now On"
Nemophila - "Adabana"
welcome to the wolfpack mates, enjoy the journey✌
You won’t go wrong if you go down the Lovebites rabbit hole. Others have already mentioned it so I’ll second the motion, you might really enjoy their performance of Swan Song with Chopin Intro where you get to see Miyako shred on the piano.😊
Midori the blonde guitarist is a fitness model btw look her up she's a beast!
LOVEBITES 🔥🤘🐺🤘🔥
Please listen to LoveBites in stereo next time, because of the dual lead guitars! 🤘
We did, it’s just that I only have one mic picking up sound from my camera at the moment. The RUclips video is mono but that’s not what we are hearing in the room.
Use headphones, that will solve the problem!
And they play in high heels ❤❤❤
Lovebites is the best metal band on the planet (all genders). Next up: Nemophila (all-female metal from Japan, they've just toured in the US). One of their epic covers would give you a good idea, Foo Fighters / Walk: ruclips.net/video/qqxqEcRUj14/видео.html
Great reaction. Subbed \m/ \m/
Lovebites is a fun musical journey to undertake and I don't think I have anything that I could add that the Wolfpack fans haven't already in the 150 plus or so comments before mine as they have suggested a myriad of songs to react to next. I second "Swan Song," "A Frozen Serenade," and an "Empty Daydream" along with "Set the World on Fire" and "Thunder Vengeance."
EDIT: And you will probably get a lot of suggestions for other Japanese rock and metal bands in the comments, especially for Band-Maid and Nemophila, two also very talented all ladies carrying the metal torch on. For Nemophila, I'd recommend the official live video of "Dissension" or "Orian," and for Band-Maid probably either "Domination" or "Freedom;" although, they do have a recent new live vid of "No God"
WoW! Gowcaizer in the machine behind 😮
Cool I’ll check it out!
Miyako the brunette guitarist is also classically trained on piano they have a song where classical meets metal Swan Song with Chopin Intro
This is their love letter to Iron Maiden / Judas Priest, but they've made it their own.
Nice reaction! From Japan.🇯🇵
Please react to LOVEBITES “Raise some Hell”,”Shadowmaker”.
Welcome to the world of Lovebites - blistering fast guitar solos, pounding and relentless drums and bass, and powerful soaring vocals. In 2018 Lovebites won the Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. Now do "Set the World on Fire" live next.
Best metal band in the world right now......period! But please do you're research.
🤘🏽LOVEBITES RULES🤘🏽
sing of deliverance, shadowmaker, we the united, nameless warrior in live
