Here some information about the band:
LOVEBITES are around since 2016 and their first EP and album came out in 2017. At this point they have already released 4 albums, some Singles/EPs and also a bunch of live DVD/Blu-ray releases.
Back in 2018/2019 LOVEBITES have already toured in Europe, including appearances at the major metal festivals as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop. In 2018 they also won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band.
Then came covid, their original bass player and founder Miho quit the band for personal reasons and two babies were born. After a break LOVEBITES came back with new bassist Fami and new song „Judgement Day“ in late 2022. A new album with the same title came out in February 2023. It debuted on #4 at iTunes album charts worldwide and #1 at metal charts in 8 countries.
Recently their album „Judgement Day“ was voted #15 in best metal albums of the year 2023 by readers of Metal Hammer UK. Also „Stand and deliver“ was voted on #15 for best metal song of the year. What are fantastic results for a still relatively unknown and foreign band.
LOVEBITES finished touring Japan last October. They will be on a WORLD TOUR this year. First dates are already announced for this summer. They will appear at several festivals. For example they will play on main stage at Hellfest/France, one of the biggest metal festivals in Europe (with 60k tickets sold). Now we (the wolfpack) are all waiting for more dates to be announced …

Most likely, your answers (like mine) are blocked due to complaints organized by the troll from his numerous fake accounts. I assume that he has 16 (this is the minimum number) fake accounts. These are only those fake accounts from which he wrote to me. Due to troll complaints, many comments are also blocked that contain information about LOVE BITES that is useful for Reactors. Over the past 2 weeks, approximately 50% of my comments have been blocked.
The troll has already begun to sow discord. Real fans have become suspicious of the new LOVE BITES fans. Especially those who have recently registered their account. I know several such cases. Best metal band in the world. They're incredibly talented, and amazing live. Unbelievable really. Haruna is a force on the drums, Asami has so much power for such a small frame, Midori and Miyako are one of the best duos in metal and Fami is a prodigy on bass. It's sort of unfair to have them all in one band (and we are lucky for it). Oh and you said "almost heavy metal." They can, and do. Power metal here but if you want even heavier, try something like Judgement Day, Thunder Vengeance or Break the Wall (all live).

Who are they.....LOL The best LIVE band to come along in a long time. Petite Insanely talented musicians who wear their femininity proudly but turn into Goddesses on stage. Here they are back after a hiatus of 2 years with a new bassist. This is one of 60+ songs and not even in the top ten (IMHO). Now LIVE you have to experience Frozen Serenade, Hammer of Wrath, Set the World on Fire, Swan Song with Chopin piano etude intro, Empty Daydream or anything else LIVE. This is the best band no one is following except the Wolfpack (fanbase) but they are touring in 2024 and that should change. Yeah they look like J/Pop or models but they are insanely talented world class musicians who can play anything.

Congratulations, you just found the most talented metal band to come along in decades. In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they waited out the pandemic and searched for a new bassist. They announced the new bassist in October 2022 (see below) and dropped their first new song on December 22. Their new album, “Judgement Day”, was released two months later.
They did their first live performances in more than two years in summer of 2023, with their new bassist Fami. Their very first show was commemorated on the DVD “Knocking on Heaven’s Gate”. They have posted four performances from that DVD-“”Hammer of Wrath”, “Judgement Day”, “Nameless Warrior” and “Liar”. All of them are barn-burners. They have also posted “Stand and Deliver”, “Swan Song” and “MDO” from the second concert.
Some background:
They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and founder of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the great European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other groups. The four of them then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she was also trained in ballet).
Miyako has composed a little more than half of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics and is also getting involved in composing.
In mid-2021, Miho left the band she had founded, for personal reasons. They went on hiatus while they searched for a new bassist, and during that time, two of them had babies, even as the band were writing and rehearsing their new album. They recently announced the new bassist, Fami, who is a young phenom and herself a composer and multi-instrumentalist. The instrumentalists studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance was that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining.
They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like crazy). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band."

Miyako is also a virtuoso concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar. She is self-taught on the guitar. For their outfits, i prefer to think its "greek goddess" style. Else its also quite easy : metal is the new classical music. I remember when i was in school 45 years ago, a teacher said : if Beethoven would live today, he would do metal. And japanese girls were already ever very good musicians, but for long time mostly played piano or violin in classical music.
Now the think is that Miyako (black haired guitarist) is even a full fleshed concerto pianist and guitar is only her second instrument. And also all of them have at least basic piano skills, don't know how much each of them really can.
Furiose rock and metal power is coming from Japanese women's heavy metal bands these days. Lovebites is the best of these bands but many more follow close behind: Band Maid, Nemophila, Aldious, Bridear, Hanabie, Fate Gear, ArkRoyal, Little Lillith, Hades, Gacharic Spin, Doll$boxx etc.

Lovebites has been around since 2016, and the women became more famous worldwide after performing at several major festivals, mainly in Europe, starting in
2018 - Wacken - Open Air in Germany

2019 - Download Festival in Spain.
In 2020, their career was abruptly interrupted by Corona. But they masterfully overcame the crisis, got married and had babies. In 2021 the founder Miho left the band for personal reasons and it went into a hiatus which lasted until the end of 2022. In the fall of 2022 they found a young fantastic bass player and in 2023 they released a new LP. The new LP reached the 5th place in the Japanese charts. Japan is the 2nd largest music market in the world and it is very rare that in these times a rock band comes so far forward.

Okay, so you are on the cusp of one hell of a rabbit hole!
The Japanese metal scene is incredible and interestingly a lot of the best bands are either all female or at least female fronted. They seem to be leading the way with this wave of metal.
Lovebites are great. The first time I have ever had a favourite band, and I am 37. So so many good songs so here are some suggestions, all complete bangers. Quick note, they are generally best live, which isn't to say their MVs are bad in anyway. The fact there are this many to suggest is why they are my favourite band. I would say all suggestions are as good or better than what you just watched.

LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by Miho(Ba) and Haruna(Dr), members of the band "DESTROSE", which went on hiatus in 2015.
The girls made their major label debut in 2017 (March 24) with "THE LOVEBITES EP".
On 18 June 2018, LOVEBITES won 'BEST NEW BAND' at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2018 awards organised by the British metal magazine METAL HAMMER.
On 4 August, LOVEBITES performed on the W.E.T stage at WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018, one of the world's largest annual metal festivals in Germany, with the 10,000 capacity venue almost full.

Some people say that they are redefining metal or that they’re breaking the walls of stereotypes in the world metal scene. Their live performances are just outstanding. They have influences from the great metal bands of the past but they have been developing their unique style. They want to play as heavy as men but keeping their femininity. This is a somewhat older style of heavy metal called power metal. It's popular in Europe, Latin America and Asia, but not so well known in the English-speaking world; it's characterized by fast tempos, lots of melody and soaring vocals. They also have songs in thrash metal and classic heavy metal style, and a bit of hard rock.

@@eatsmylifeYT In his defense, many millennials, particularly in the English-speaking world, are only familiar with the (IMO) crap that came out of America in the 90s and 00s under the label metal: nu metal, groove metal, metalcore. All characterized by rough vocals and ludicrous displays of testosterone. If knowledge of metal goes beyond that, it's often limited to Metallica and Slayer--thrash bands. That kind of music has usurped the term "metal" for many casual listeners (from certain countries), and other subgenres have been forgotten or never heard of.
@@oliphant2848 I did take that into consideration. However, I think he's from Europe, and I'm sure you know Europe does have a big heavy metal scene. There's this other guy on the same channel who kept saying that Lovebites kept giving off "Nightwish" vibes, which for me says a lot about how much these people know about heavy metal.
As far as I'm concerned, people who react to music should have a deeper knowledge and understanding of music and its genres, OR if they don't really know much about the genre, refrain from making comments like "almost heavy metal".

Welcome to Japan. There are several constellations of really phenomenal all-women bands, in several genres. LOVEBITES are mighty in power metal. I'd suggest also Nemophila ("Dissension") for heavy metal, and Hanabie ("We Love Sweets") for metalcore + WTF. BAND-MAID ("Domination - LIVE") and Gacharic Spin ("Mindset" MV) for hard rock with some twists. And there are others.

You haven't even scratched the surface yet of the amazing all female Japanese bands yet. Two more of my favorites are Band Maid, who I have seen 3 times live. Nemophila, who is really heavy, very surprising in a good way. Another Band I really like Is Wagakki Band. M And F band mix traditional Japanese music and instruments with modern rock/Metal.
They wear all white to make them stand out as they range from 4foot 9inches (Haruna the Drummer) to 5foot 1inch(Miyako dark haired guitarist), so they are all small in stature but massive in presence on stage PS welcome to the Wolfpack
Welcome & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 Lovebites is one of the best bands in our country. Their live performance is much better than MVs. We say "Japan is the country obsessed by Rock Music". The history is very long and the obsession started in 1966 when Beatles visited Japan and held 5 concerts at Budokan. Speaking of hard rock / heavy metal music, a number of bands started to come to Japan since as early as 1970s : Led Zeppelin / Grand Funk Railroad (1971), Deep Purple (1972), Queen (1975), Kiss (1977), Cheap Trick / Van Halen / Scorpions (1978), Judas Priest (1978/79) and so on. Now, any type of rock can be enjoyed here, especially by many all-female or women-fronted bands. They are daughters of American / European rock, for sure. (Many are grand-daughters in terms of age.)

Apparently he has already used 2 out of the 4 fake Lovebites accounts to attack another band at their LIVE premier. Everyone needs to be vigilant.
Quick update - the 4 fake Lovebites fan accounts I mentioned above and created by the SAME troll to be used to sow discord between fanbases are now in this comments section. I shall just state the first 2 characters of each and you should be able to figure out the rest : (1) "@Al..." , (2) "@La..." , (3) "@Hu..." , (4) "@He..." In addition, 3 out of the 4 fake fan accounts' usernames contain Lovebites references, namely "wolf" , "Asami" , "Miyako" .
If you want to see what he wrote, the comments are on a RUclips channel called Venus Gaijin.

Too bad sound isn't balanced as good as it usually is for LOVEBITES......(one of their qualities is their sound engineers)
I do not get it. The audio on this video is rather bad. You cannot hear the individual instruments. I tried to look att Lovebite's official website and there was no Holy War from 2023. Where do this video come from?
I have now searched and found other reactors that has used this video. The sound is much better but still not really good. So, the original video is not perfect but Aleks copy of it in the reaction is much worse. If you are reading Aleks. First - look at the version 2020 in Zepp Diver city, it is much better. Second - try to find what degraded the sound in your reaction video.

Two things, what is that about "Almost Heavy Metal", and why the h.e.l.l do I have to have your voice at 100% volume and every time you play the video I have to lower the volume to 15% so as not to go deaf, having you a microphone in front? How the h.e.l.l do you have more than 10 thousand followers. Aren't there any sane people watching RUclips anymore?
All the fanatics sucking the feet of each of the reaction channels, whether they do things right or do them horrendously wrong... I'm starting to think that the Troll isn't so bad after all. People continue to favor the flourishing of low-quality channels. They are going to turn RUclips into c.r.a.p that not even they will want to watch in a few more years. I want quality, not RUclips channels with people who don't even know how to use a microphone or edit the audio of a video. Or if they know, they care so little about the rest of the people that they don't even bother to do it... anyway, people are going to adore them.

How to grow a youtube channel:
1) Do reactions for musical acts with cult like followings
2) Make a thumbnail with a SHOCKED look on your face and titles like OMG I'M BLOWN AWAY!!
3) Shower the group with praise like THIS IS THE BEST GROUP EVER!!!
4) Wait for the cult to show up and compliment you for your GREAT TASTE, give you the whole history of the band and testimonials of HOW GREAT THEY ARE, give you dozens of suggestions for more reactions and promises ro subscribe and like your videos - so long as you hype the band
5) Sit back and watch your channel grow.
It's lame.
So with one wave of a stereotypical wand, what you described applies to every single reactor and every fanbase who supports their band is a "cult" ?
6) Get people who don't like reaction channels to click on your shocked look thumbnail and leave a comment on how much they don't like the content they just clicked on.
