Damn what a cool place for build a house in the ridge just wow thanks for your video that help for going outside fly that crazy thing for the first time
Crazy crazy man! 😁. That’s a tough little bird! Your making me miss my FJ!☹️. I see you have the oh so famous windshield crack lol. I owned mine for 5 years and 3 windshields. It’s an FJ disease 😆. I’ve owned many vehicles but that FJ was my favorite out of every crazy thing I’ve had. Anyways...... sweet video brother, sorry for my sad breakdown 😝
Good vid again Sean. You know what I really like about your vids? You bring it down to earth and do what many wonder about without so much worry or being too "elite" for test fights like this. I too live in a snowy state of MN and have flown my Mini 1 and 2 into snowy weather (the dry kind) and it'll be fine. I wondered about the fpv on days like this and now I know. I would have tested it myself anyways but you beat me to the punch. It's inevitable in MN. In your vids on other drones that I own I appreciate the test fights on the SK2 as well. It's that "good to know" stuff that comes from your channel and that's awesome. I haven't flown my fpv yet and I got it almost two months ago lol. The weather is just up and down here in MN and now we have our spring showers that keep me grounded ugh. Can't wait to learn this new drone though.
Sean, Right after I posted on your Twitter feed, I lost cellar data at my project; So, now back home being able to your video. Nicely done, Sir. The new DJI FPV did one heck of a job flying in those conditions. I was very impressed with the video quality and stabilization. I truly enjoyed the last part of the video, and the soundtrack you chose was outstanding AND very peaceful to watch and listen to. DJI needs to hire you for their EXTREME condition testing; you'd blow them away on what you'd be testing their drone in! Again, Nicely Done!
Yo Sean.. Top Tip.. The DJI FPV drone also has a “turtle mode” in case you crash upside down you click the button & it flips itself right side up ready to take off again & you can stay in your car 👍🏼
Thanks Sean. Not ready for FPV, but I look forward to 'when'. Man it's cold where you are! Really, you are fun and informative, which is a good combination.
Waiting on the Air 2S. Hook that to them goggles and tablet. Now you have something worth buying. Not a 8 to 10 minutes plastic fpv POS . Hopefully they will make it so a Air unit will link to the controller and goggles V2.
The moisture should be clean with alcohol after your cold weather flights, just to prevent rust buildup. I’m hesitant to fly my DJI fpv while snowing. Great video.
Great video and hope you had a great time boarding! Blue Mountain was done on Good Friday (thanks lockdown) and Tremblant today (spring melt) so I switched to biking. Got three pins in my right thumb yesterday and the wife got a broken rib due to a left turn on a wet boardwalk. Oops, slow down _a lot_ for those, they're slippery af, apparently. Cheers!
Thanks! glad you enjoyed the video, i still have snowboarding for the next 2 months luckily. a new board design video to show soon and other snowboard content too.
I have heard that, if a lithium battery gets cold enough during discharging or charging it will ruin it. Grant it if the batteries warm enough when you launch your probably going to be fine because the battery keeps itself warm while discharging.
Sean, can I ask - you downgrade your video for 'ease of editing'... If you were buying a laptop on the market today, and I assume you would need some good video editing capabilities, what would you suggest? I've been looking at the dual screen ASUS models. Maybe you don't want to post an answer here. But if you are willing to answer let me know. I love your video's, and where you live. I just don't deal with the cold so well! Thanks for your contributions by the way. They are fun.
Right, makes me extra nervous about this drone! I've seen people do that too! they are crazy I thought it was going down! Alright for sure, thanks for the reply! Take care bro!
Really tuff drone mine just kiss a big trees 😂 and the drone he kept flying in the tree. Until i stop the motor by panicking im sur i was able to go out of that big pine by a hole under a layer of big branch 😅one props losing about 3mm and it flying just like new. Time to upgrade that props. The Master aircrew looking nice and people talk good about the performance. Im tenpted to
@@SeanOzz also unlike the mavic, you can clearly find a sucking inlet on top of the FPV drone up front, in direction of where the drone is flying with most of the air flowing through (in your case snow) directly onto the circuit, where on mavic there no sucking inlet only heat sink at the bottom
5 years flying in much worse conditions than this with fpv and reg quads. Appreciate your concern but this isn't regular snow, it's champagne powder. ;)

Awesome video , Those houses on the ridge looked so cool in the extreme snow conditions. Love your extreme flights.
I wish I could afford one of those. Inane expensive
Best Dron DJI
👍🏻
This drone makes you feel like superman 🥰👊

From your phone to your car to your drone, you really know your toys. Long life, health and happiness LLHH!

Holy crap. Weather looks wild. Great job on the presentation.

Wonderful 🤩

Thank you
Got to love the southwest weather. One day 70 next day snow then the next 70 and windy
Sounds about right.
Nicely done brother!
Thanks
Just watching it now... reminds me of the place I used to live in Northern Alberta.
Nice. Hope you enjoyed it.
amazing
Thanks.
Great video.
Thanks
Very cool vid!

Let's fly!
Get it!!
Oh yes, the video I was waiting for

People don't understand about the dry snow. It is a big difference.

Thanks steve. If dji would send me product I could test it way way more throughly than this. Is break them left and right. Lol

Correct. Like in this other video I put out. Longer one in the works.

It's been pretty warm lately.
The EIS is really impressive! That quad is actually not bad.
As long as the light is ok it does a good job. I’ll be doing a test with it vs GoPro max soon.
that fj cruiser is very cool, dude
Love it
Thanks
What an awesome introduction and video, Sean. I loved it. Very very cool.
Thanks ray
Nice job buddy! Man that weather is crazy
Thanks Matt
Cool test! Great information.
Thanks John. The straps you recommended are much better.
Handshake: Thanks, good video, funny just got done watching DOBO, and he was talking about the battery holder they made for the goggles.
My new strap has one built in. Works great. Fat straps makes them.
Clear canopy is an excellent idea ! Nice flying in the snow and the slo-mo stuff too. uh, Sean, you need a new windshield ! Thanks for sharing.
i do but so many rocks always on the road. a new chip weekly it seems.
Buy two velcro strips, one for the goggle eye, and one for the battery. Battery pack sits on your left or right eye and it stays well
No need. Got fat straps. They rock.
Waiting on the Air 2S. Hook that to them goggles and tablet. Now you have something worth buying. Not a 8 to 10 minutes plastic fpv POS . Hopefully they will make it so a Air unit will link to the controller and goggles V2.

Awesome video and footage 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you Dan.
The moisture should be clean with alcohol after your cold weather flights, just to prevent rust buildup. I’m hesitant to fly my DJI fpv while snowing. Great video.
Please don’t use rubbing alcohol on electronics. If you must than use denatured alcohol to clean them.
Thanks and glad you enjoyed the flight.

DJI know exactly what they're doing with their drones, it suvived such harsh weather
It did pretty well.
Sean ordered some more extreme winter weather to test the new drone in those conditions. =)
Lol. More next week too.
cool: I,m new on your channel thanks for sharing great content looked like fun
Welcome to the community. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
@@SeanOzz welcome
how much did that drone cost I'm looking for one,. i'm not a rich man though
The dji mini 2 Is a great option than. I tested it out like crazy and it impressed the heck out of me.
Oh I missed it
But you're here now. :)
I have heard that, if a lithium battery gets cold enough during discharging or charging it will ruin it. Grant it if the batteries warm enough when you launch your probably going to be fine because the battery keeps itself warm while discharging.
Don’t store them in severe cold and you will be fine. Thanks for watching.
is this thing water proof enough to crash into snow cus i know it can fly in rain but crashing into snow is different
Great vid btw!
I wouldn’t fly mine in rain.
I wonder if covering up the front intake vent would prevent that ice build up under the canopy.
i do not think so . i feel like it was frozen condensation.
How did you get the snow out from underneath the canopy?
I unscrewed it and dried it out.
Do you still recommend the dji fpv now ?
Yes. Just posted a a new video on it. I still really enjoy it.
What foam kit and strap do you use for the goggles bro
hey hey, the foam is dji fat foam and the strap is fat straps.
@@SeanOzz Yeah I kind of figured it out it will be here tomorrow thanks bro
Is it a problem that snow building up on the drone?
In excess yes it would be.

Anything with the m1 chip.
@@SeanOzz Thanks. Been reading more about it all the time.
How do you land it on your hand?
Carefully.
Nice test! I got no balls when it come to expensive devices like this lol. Constantly raining where I'm at, think it can take light rain?
There are lots of exposed electronics on this one compared to others. I have seen others dump water on it but I personally wouldn't.
Right, makes me extra nervous about this drone! I've seen people do that too! they are crazy I thought it was going down! Alright for sure, thanks for the reply! Take care bro!
I lost it laughing my ass off when u said dildo stick. Lmao I called it that it's so lame. I don't care for it. . n looks like a dildo joystick 🤣
Ha ha ha. Happy to hear I’m not alone on that one. Lol.
Hi dude i wondering how it was the props after the crash ?
It was fine. Just some scuffs.
Awsome drone Thank you to take time for me

You figure a guy can get 10 min of flight time at -20 Celsius?
You can’t really in 70 degree weather either with this drone. Tight fit
Hard to watch with the antenna down
Till it was caught and flipped. Up. Damn impressive test though and now u know it kills it even if you forget to flip it. Lol.
youre literally sucking snow into your circuit board and eroding the electronics
one day it will fall out of the sky
Years and years and no snow issues. But thanks for the comment.
@@SeanOzz well untll it does, how many winters have passed since your last drone, its been less than oen or 2 years since mavic 2 or air 2
