Just a correction regarding the 3 batteries, the flymore kit charger does not charge them all at once, it charges them one by one which takes 50 minutes per battery. I was also misled to believe that they were all charged at once and so i thought that it would only take me 50 minutes to charge all of the 3 batteries, it was disappointing. Maybe useful info to some of you ;)
Yes it does it that way so you can be flying while the others charge. Doesn’t make much sense to me because takes under an hour to charge but 15 min to drain the battery. I never allow mine to drain completely so I get about 12 min flight per battery
Thank you Matt! Your video (this one) is the one I used to buy by DJI FPV and all the accessories I wanted. I got everything but the GoPro and the analog. I got everything delivered in Oct. and Nov. 2022, and I've been flying every day weather permitting. I have been following all the rules, flying in "G" locations and other than my house, friends house, I usually just go to parks in "G" areas. The DJI FPV is everything I expected, and all the accessories as well. I spent many months researching exactly what I wanted to buy, and all the accessories which my family bought for me for my birthday. Your video was the foundation upon which everything was determined by me. What I would like to ask you, and your audience, is how I deal with the slight depression I get after each flight. Don't get me wrong; I love every minute. However, it feels like I'm not doing enough. It could be that the DJI FPV cost $1400 with the "Fly-More" kit, but I'm 52 years old and I could afford to buy another or two. I've tried "googling" what to do with a drone in general, but it only produces answers results involving money. What I'm looking for is 'novel' uses that are "out of the box" and exciting like cave exploration, or search and rescue. I just need ideas for fun/excitement. No suggestion is crazy; I'm just running out of parks. Thanks Matt, and everyone.
Wow question! That charge block... yours charges all 3 simultaneously? Mine does one at a time...... kinda defeats the purpose. Hope mine is just fucked up lol.
It will charge the one with the most load first, after that finishes it will continue with the next and so on. So you are up and ready to go fast. I guess that was the idea behind it: get back fast and dont wait long for the next. If it would charge all simultaneously it maybe would take significant longer for it. In short: yors isnt broken but working as intended : )
@@leinadreign3510 if they want us to believe we are going to "mars" yet can't rapidly charge 3 small batteries at once in a timely matter... then uh wtf.. what would make it not work? Besides design. We clearly know how to Amp up more power..... i.e. coil pack. And also I have other drone battery chargers that do multiple at once no matter what level they charge. S4 and s1 batteries But anywho. Thanks for the reply. My cousin got one and seen his did the same .. so figured it was how it was suppose to be. But still thanks.
Really nice video!! I’m a statistic of DJI’ s mad scheme of gathering more sheep, with their fancy toy. Now, after watching this, I want the analog! Now I got to fly the mini quads🔥🔥
Not sure what exact props you are using if you could include some more clarifications it would be really helpful! I would also like to use the props you are using but I am not sure what exact ones they are.
Hey mate Tnx for your videos Have you upgraded your Dji fpv’s motors Because my Dji fpv is not enough strong to fly long fly That even hard for take off at the beginning
Where do I look to increase penetration through a mountain? Recently took it to a peak and was flying but started trying to get that nice dive footage going down the mountain, but I was in the parking lot and it didnt make it 50ft down before losing transmission???
Great Informative Video as usual 👍🏽. Newbeedrone came out with DJI goggle foam that I really like because you don’t have to make any alterations to the nose piece. Also I noticed that the iflight patch paired with the stock V2 dual band antennas does help with penetration a little while keeping the stock range. Lastly I really like the front landing pads and battery cover by originaldobo.
Great video as always Matt. I don't use the DJI drone but I didn't know half of these interesting accessories. Thanks for mentioning the straps, I designed them so they are comfortable, safe for the googles and good looking!
Do you need to adjust any flight parameters when you mount a GoPro on the FPV drone? Not sure if the top weight would need to be addressed for before flight?
Can you use the goggles that come with the FPV Drone kit with a separate air unit to have FPV on other aircraft? I know I cannot use the controller but can you bind more than one air unit to the goggles?
My DJI FPV get crazy when I put on it the gopro. I tried both in Sport mode than in Manual mode but nothing change and motors get hot.. How to solve this problem? Thanks
Do you need to face in the direction of the dji to g longer range? Never thought of that, I usually just sit on a chair. Thanks for any answer on that, guess I can rotate around.
I've been hit and miss with this list because some items I'm not interested in and others you had some great info on I didn't know and had written off trying. As soon as you showed the VR Wave lenses though I immediately went to go check out getting a pair! While the original foam lining isn't bad I'd been told replacing it meant you wouldn't be able to wear glasses so I was going to stick it out as while my eyesight isn't bad, I'd rather just wear my glasses. But with those I'll be able to swap the foam too and still be able to see a sharp image. Thank you for the link to them too!
BEAUTIFUL VIDEO CONGRATULATIONS. HOW DID YOU RESOLVE THE INTERFERENCE WITH THE GPS BY MOUNTING A GOPRO? IT BRINGS ORANGE SATELLITES TO ME AND THE H DISAPPEARS IN THE VIEWERS
Love the content.. really helped me.. my adaptors arrived today and I ran with nazgul 5140 props.. the worked really well and it did feel a little floaty but i noticed i still had enough to punch out of hairy situations 😁😁
HELLO, I'M SORRY TO TELL YOU THAT THAT DOES NOT WORK, PUT A GOPRO, OSMO 4, on top of the Dji fpv, and if you put an insta 360one THE ONLY SOLUTION IS FOR DJI TO RELEASE A REAL QUALITY CAMERA MODULE AND IT CAN BE PURCHASED AND INSTALLED. LIKE THEY SELL THE ONE THEY COME BUT ONE OF VERY SUPERIOR QUALITY AND SO WE WOULD NOT HAVE TO TRY TO PUT AN OSMO ON TOP W, WHICH WHICH IS NO WORK. The DJI FPV camera DOES NOT WORK EITHER.
This might be a weird question and you don't have to answer it if you don't want to. when you get a gig to record an ad for a company, how do you come up with the price?
I wouldn't be the best person to ask that question to as I'm much less experienced in client work than some others out there, but it would also depend on what country you're from. You would probably base it on your day rate, gear required, travel costs, any assistants you may need, permissions for the footage, and any post production work needed.
What I don’t like about the batteries is that at about 35 % to 40% is prompting you to bring the FPV back because will run out of battery. Is there any way to reduce and set it to 20%?
First off, the moment I seen the video I thought it was Wil Wheaton talking about flying FPV. I half expected Howard Wolowitz to come on. The GoPro mount is discontinued, typical for these 3D printed parts. It's like the guy who supplies them get sick of printing them and they become discontinued, or school starts back up and the teenager they have printing them in his garage has to stop. Don't try buying props from the manufacturer, they cost 3 times the price of the product in shipping, but amazon has them in stock.
I really wanted to get the prescription lenses, because I use glasses. I went to their web page, and they had a price of $30 which I thought was great, but once I started inputting all my prescription information, the price jumped up to $125, not including shipping. So, I decided to just use my contact lenses whenever I use the goggles.
Ah, that is interesting. I was thinking about them as well. But hearing that now, why it doesnt surprises me? ^^ To bad, Guess I will stick with my glasses : (
Correction the fly more charger only charges one battery at a time not all 3 at the same time. It goes off what battery has the most power then tops it off then goes from that. Not all 3 batteries charge at the same time.
Buen video amigo una curiosidad ese dron tiene suficiente fuerza para levantar la camara me recomiendas o el drone se puede extrellar perdiendo el equilibrio o se desastibiliza as tenido problema al volarlo gracias
I find it pretty funny that the upgrades are basically just pushing the it back towards being a standard FPV drone. Not hating on the people that got the DJI FPV drone, but I have a strong feeling most will end up flying regular FPV drones when they feel comfortable in acro mode. And because of the repairabilty and loads of extra power. But it still begs the question: did DJI miss the mark? Did they take the hybridization a bit too far towards being a Mavic? What would a serviceable carbon fibre DJI drone be like with the same sensors, replaceable FC/ESCs etc? I bet that would have impressed a lot of people more than it turned out doing in it's current form.
For sure, there's definitely some room for improvement. I'm really curious to see what a V2 version will bring to the table. After moving to a country with pretty strict drone laws though, I realized there's actually a lot more to the features that DJI chose to include. I believe it's the only manufactured FPV drone that is pre-approved for advanced operations in Canada and it's definitely partially due to all the safety features. I'm pretty sure most of the upgrades in this video would nullify those permissions but it's nice to have an FPV drone on the approved list. For filmmakers and other professions that may want to use an FPV drone in their work, it's a huge plus.
I like my dji fpv drone, already done a search and rescue with it. first thing i did was. Did a teardown of the transmitter and converted it to mode 4. 2nd mod was apply a region unlock hack. no no not the naco one haha. added a aluminium bumper for the cam. oh i just got the prop adapter....i do miss a field charge adapter though, maybe the 12v adapter or just a diy

Hey Matt thanks for sharing this with us. Does the go pro mount comes with it? Also, I recently bought a dji fpv drone with the combo option. Do you happen to have a video on flying your first dji fpv drone?
Thank you for another informative and entertaining video! Will definitely consider several of these items! By the way, I wouldn't mind if you turned down the volume of the background music a bit 😉 Keep up the good work! 👍
How cool. Just bought one. Subbed. Looking for a simulator. I used Phoenix to learn how to fly nitro rc helis. They had hit a rough patch, but I think they are back in business. Didn't avoid crashes, but minimized how many. Parts were expensive. Every crash cost at least , 100 bucks USD. Took a break, for years. Thanks for the effort on the videos, Matt. Watched a couple already, and subbed.

7:27 Are you ok Matt? hahahaha
Lol it actually bounced off the DJI goggles and I continued the flight! The benefits of whoops I guess

ur goggles antennas are on upside down comparing it to the websites picture from the link..? any reason for this??
Great video. My personal must haves is the goggle foam, nd filters and 3+ batteries. However, I’d like to try out the prop adapters at some point.
Thanks especially for the props recommendations!

Fairly certain it’s a calculated percent based on how far the drone is away from its home point. If your closer it requires less battery to get home.
Totally. I’ve had it come in at 40% and yesterday it went down to 12% when it was right above me.

7:25 LOL nice ty for including that
Does the GoPro overheat the motors?
Is there a GoPro mount for the original mavic pro ?
I purchased the Smallrig GO Pro connector on the DJI FPV before I saw this review. Any thoughts on this?

Nice video dude!
Ever try any stick mods to your radiomaster controller?
Really enjoy your video broo 🙌 thanks
Any issues while flying the GoPro on top? I don’t plan to fly fast. Vibrations? GPS issues? I hope to mount the gp10
Really enjoy your videos and look forward to more!

Is it against DJI’s guidelines and the FAA guidelines to use those props they’re not made by the maker
Get this guy more subs. Awesome video!
Thanks for the useful info
Nice job
Are the lenses are expensive?
HOW DO YOU GET THOSE PROPS???
The fly more charger only charges in sequence not parallel :(
Did you crashed against your own face using the analog quad :?

Anyone know of any good go pro mounts shipping in the US
The multi- charger only charges one battery at a time.....starting with the least discharged battery.
Yes, true! I guess it's just nice that you don't have to keep swapping them out. Good point!
@@MattPochwat I have the Flymore kit....well worth it....albeit not cheap.
Great insight thank you
Nice video bro 👌🤗👍
great video thank you :)
Too bad... the GoPro mount is not available anymore....
that looked like a pretty tough head bump! You ok? xD
Lol did you smack yourself @ 7:27 Matt?
The charge does not charge all 3 batteries at the same time. It charges 1 battery at a time....
7:27 did you just crash into yourself
You can get foam accessories for the goggles. The GoPro isn’t cheap.
I’m not sure that this drone meant for cinematic?
Interesting. Many thanks 🇬🇧 🇬🇧
lol how tf did you get 15 minutes cruising around? Even just hovering in place I barely got 10 minutes from it.
did my mans hit himself in the face with the small drone?
i feel like buying nice aftermarket goggle padding from Dji is, well, a bit of a piss-take really.
I honestly cannot even use the standard controller anymore the motion controller is the one I use the best
Great vid! So sad bc everything i wanted was out of stock on the banggood links... fml
