I just want to let you know how insanely grateful I am and how much I love you for your videos. I had been having tons of arch pains when playing tennis and it was getting so bad that I was considering quitting my tennis season in school . But after watching your video on best insoles, I got the Powerstep Pinnacle and it literally saved my life. Its been about 3 weeks since I bought it and I barely feel any pain when running and playing with these insoles. It helped a l out financially as well as I didn’t need to buy a custom 600 dollar insole. Again thank you so so so so much. 😀😀😃😃
Awesome review - again - Zach, and thank you for including Pickleball in your review! When a new court shoe comes out, I will definitely watch your tear down/ review.
I HAVE A REQUEST.. I trust your shoe reviews so much. And since you are a foot doctor, you have good knowledge of the materials and how they impact the body in motion. CAN YOU PLEASE PLEASE review the NIKE AIR ZOOM GT CUT. Its initially a basketball show, but it supposed to keep the foot locked in for lateral movements because it has a TPU stop on the lateral side; so would be helpful with tennis players as well. I would love to see a review on it. I believe they are due for a release any day now. Appreciate it Doc. Keep up the good work.
Excellent review; I 100% agree! Great looking shoe, but when I tried them on they felt okay with the exception of that super wide slipper tongue. I felt like I had to really tie them down super tight just to not slip out. My biggest concern was that I’d slip when cutting. I ended up choosing the Nike Vapor Pros thanks to your review! Very fast, very quick, very nice shoe
This is a tennis focused shoe review channel. But I’m just looking through to find the most durable shoe for outdoor basketball 🤣. Thanks for these reviews I really enjoy them.

@@FootDoctorZach I did watch this video. Some of the models aren’t available in my country’s website like the court tech challenge 20. But the Ubersonic’s have been on my mind alot. Gonna wait for them to drop in price a little.
Hey Doc! Can you do a comparison video of “heavyweight” shoes like : solarboost vs court ff vs cage 4 vs eclipsion ‘21 and such? And one of lightweight: air zoom vapor vs solution speed vs ubersonic and such? Thanks a lot
Thanks for the amazing content! Thanks to your channel and as a lighter footwork type of player... I've decided to divorce from my durability oriented vapor cage 4 and really splurged and ordered a multitude of lighter shoes instead - namely lotto mirage 100 clay, yonex fusion rev 4 hard court, and nike gp turbos hard court which I got really cheap (and I'll use as my new casual training shoe). I really can't wait to try these yonex fusion rev 4s because I actually loved the sock liner in my vapor cage 4 but hated the height of it. Now that I think of it... it's probably the worst design for slippery grass courts and was a real step backwards for me but your channel opened my eyes to it so thank you.
@@FootDoctorZach absolutely. Yesterday I tried the lottos on the grass in the evening and instead of slipping which is sort of guaranteed to happen in early autumn with the dew settling on the grass, all the lottos did was squeak a bit and still managed to grip really well. I used to use air vapour zoom 9, 9.5, air zoom ultras, and then vapour cage 4s and would always slide about 3ft on moist grass but the lotto (clay version) just maybe make you pivot a bit but then when you put your weight into the slide expecting to slide… it would just grip and hold. Absolutely perfect for grass!! Net rushing, chasing down drop shots, running around backhand and going for the forehand winners… best decision I’ve made in a long time! Can’t thank you enough! Comfort was good as well.
I see you have gone back to old faithful RF97, my favourite racket but due to a shoulder injury it is one I can no longer swing. Any plans to test new rackets such as the Vcore 95?
I’m taking a break on rackets as my arm really took a beating with all the different sticks there for a while- I actually broke a frame last week on an overhead miss hit so I actually am going to be switching soon as I don’t want to buy another old RF - I’m debating between 97 mid and the radical pro
Hey Zach, which pair of shoes do you recommend for cushioning and breatheability (for tropical weather) at the same time? I currently jump back and forth from vapors X, which is better in heat exchange but offer a minimalist cushioning, and court FFs, which offers great cushioning but heat the hell out of my foot! After a 3 hours match using the vapors, I feel lots of pain in the ball of my feet, and using court FFs I feel like I am with my feet stuck in mud lol
I’d go with the GP turbo or the diadora blushield 4( the previous model to the new update it has great mesh breathability) it’s hard to find both to be honest but yeah the court FF’s with all that rubber is hard to exchange heat for sure
The Fusionrev 4 run quite long, but even in an appropriate size (lengthwise) they have too much volume in the toe box for my narrow feet at least. In consequence, the upper polyurethane on the toe box folds when stepping forward creating an uncomfortable cut. For that, they are not for me unfortunately.
buy the Nike Air Zoom Vapor Cage 4 if you have a narrow feet. Those shoes are made for people that have arm wide feet (2-3 inches). For me, to fit my flipper foot inside them, I needed to go almost 3 size up...and now I am sliding back and forth inside them. Miss my Fusionrev 2. Might buy the 4 in the end.
The VC4 is definitely a more narrow forefoot and midfoot- I found the fusion revs to be more on the true side but it also depends on where you have the most length in your foot
Amazing content Zach, l have a very slim lightweight frame 130 pounds and narrow feet. I want to slide on hard courts and l like light weight shoes. Which ones do you recommend? I don’t care about durability, l can change every 2 months. I want to feel the ground with my toes, drag toes and slide laterally
Can you do a review of the Yonex Sonicage 2? They seem decent but being the lowest tier at $105 doesn’t really compete well with other low end models from other brands that you recommended for under $100 shoes.
Yep I’ll place an order this week with some other stuff - probably be in the next few weeks- I’ve got another prototype I’m testing plus some other videos to come first
@@FootDoctorZach Great thank you. this new jet mach 3 saids it has slightly Low arch. Does this matter at all if you have custom orthotic shoe insert i will be putting in ??

Thanks! Glad you liked it - it’s a super wide forefoot shoe with a higher arch so if you’re narrow it’s not a good fit and the arch will take about twice as long to break in as others but after the break in it’s a great ride
