I bought this shoe for a largely reduced price. They were a steal. Great comfort level and traction. Agreed that breathability is not great but I'm willing to give that up for a shoe that is overall a real nice surprise. Full disclosure I have the B.ICON as well which might be more high performance but is more difficult to get on your foot. Diadora in general does make quality tennis shoes.
I bought a pair of these and ended up returning them. I felt the toe back was too tight, in regards to height not width. I was very aware of the top of the toe box pushing down on my toes.

Diadora makes really good, interesting tennis shoes. I'm a fan of the B.icon gen 1, but am curious if you have any thoughts on the second gen that just came out. Seems like they added more material to the shoe, making it heavier. Maybe this is due to some of the durability complaints?
From your review Zach, the FINALE sounds a bit like the new New Balance 996 v5 or the Babolat Jet Mach 3 - would you say that is true? Between these three, which is your personal favorite?
It sure is different! a super cool shoe but I still think I'd prefer the Torneo with it's greater stability, flange and blueshield PLUS plus foam for durability. The shank in these is certainly wild and different! Perhaps I am just an old man yelling at the cloud but seems to me tennis shoes of late are getting lighter density foam and I don't love that trend from a durability perspective. If i was after a lighter shoe i think i like the b icon more just for side to side movement but still another epic shoe from diadora for the right type of player.

I’ve noticed that when you complete the breathability test, it always comes in as poor on darker shoes. Do you think the colour is contributing to unreliable results there?

Well if you have an inflamed bursae is going to get irritated no matter what’s behind it- the cybersonics at least offload the center of the Achilles insertion so that’s where I’d start if it were me but that’s one of those things that really needs treated independently
love the reviews there very detailed, sorry i'm late on this, i commented way to late on you vapor 11 video but here, i do ask if you did a suicide test with the vapor 11 shoes? I found that a very helpful comparison for shoes. also do vapor 11s even have any more of a bounce feeling than the vp2's? I know for speed reference there isn't to much help in a straight line as said. thanks!
I pretty much ask about the bounce feeling because in a pro shop, at first impressions i felt like the zoom air was stacked compared to the vapor pro 2 shoes.
I have teardowns of both you can see exactly what’s inside them- I don’t do that test anymore because of my ankle taking the times down - uppers are the only difference i found

THese are purty. I have the Diadora Torneo. How is the midsole comfort in comparison?? (i have heel pain)

In some amounts but I have a few coming up that are darker that did amazing compared to some lighter
