Solid video mate, thank you once again for your never ending efforts with these comparison videos, always look forward to see what's next.... To the viewers please note that our wheel cleaner does not contain the acid that turns iron (brake dust) turn purple (which makes rinsing very easy after), this wheel cleaner requires agitation & was designed for very sensitive wheel finishes in mind (where the iron reactive wheel cleaners can destroy these sensitive finishes). Our wheel cleaner is acid free, non caustic, non corrosive & pH neutral (something that is very very hard to find in a non-acid wheel cleaner). Though if the demand kicks up hard enough we may make a dedicated iron remover (which can be used as a wheel cleaner too). Thank you!
I'd like to see a regular APC tested alongside these as a 'control' test. I think people may find some of them a cheaper and good quality alternative to some of these products, which can make buying in bulk more feasible. Solid video as always mate 👍
Oh and I think platinum potions takes this round because A, it's Australian so that always gets a vote from me and B, it's PH neutral so that's a huge plus if it still cleans as good
Hey Jackson, I was thinking the last product could be Repco’s Eclipse wheel cleaner v The Adam’s. It’s another Aussie and pretty cheap also. Not sure if it’s acid free however.
I think the platinum potions looks the vetted here and actually seemed to clean a bit better. It's not a cheap option but I have some expensive wheels that I'm paranoid about damaging when cleaning so this might be for me
Grime off is definitely not oh neutral I say it's likely around ph13 and very alkaline. These two would definitely be a safer option compared for delicate wheel finishes
Great video. Yeah not impressed by any of these. Even giving them a headstart with a pressure wash they didn't do much. I've been using turtle wax hybrid solutions reactive wheel cleaner just lately on the wife's VW Tiguan brake dust monster and after 2 weeks the wheels get plastered in brake dust. This stuff cleans awesome it is also an iron remover and importantly pH 7. You spray it onto a DRY wheel wait a few mins and pressure wash off and you get a 90-95% clean wheel. Easy clean up. Looking forward to next video.
To be fair I think pressure washing first isn't giving them a headstart it's more diluting the products. The iron reactive wheel cleaners definitely do a good job and what I previously used everytime.

Platinum potions do suggest using their APC on the tyre as it's far stronger but they made the wheel cleaner as gentle as possible for delicate wheels
Thank you. 👍😁
Thanks Ian
Glad you bought this series back I was wondering what happened to it

Yeah it had been a while haha

I'll have to check it out thanks for the tip

Yep I'd agree this is why I'll always keep a bottle around
Hello, not impressed with these two products. Can you tell me if Grim Off is ph neutral please?
Grime off is definitely not oh neutral I say it's likely around ph13 and very alkaline.

Neither seem the strongest but I'd vote platinum potions
Yeah I'd agree but sometimes not as strong can be a good thing for delicate wheels
