I recently switched back to Android by way of the S24 Ultra after ~12 years with the iPhone. It's been a fun experience so far. My last Android phone was the Note 2. Thanks for the review!
Yep I switched over to the s24 ultra from iPhone (which was the only type of phone I've ever had) and I don't think I'll ever go back. This truly is an amazing phone!

The anti-reflective display is one of the best features that Samsung didn't say a word about you interact with the screen everyday all day long it's a huge improvement

@@udaysingh9_11 Nah. Guys like you just try too hard to be different. I switched to an iPhone 13 Pro Max from a S20 Ultra and it's like night and day. I'm never going back. There's a reason why people who can afford it buy an iPhone.

@svenjo8098 Once you start using video at 8k or even 4k you will burn through 256 in no time at all, not to mention games, pics, movies, music, etc. Anything less than 1tb is a joke.

I had my iphonexr for 5 years,and I just switched to Samsung s24 ultra this past few days.And im so glad I did.I bought mine in hk with lots of freebies.The battery is insane.I still have 31% and it has been 24hrs and 3 hrs since the last I charged.Amazing

I tend to use the generative AI photo edit tool pretty often and I do feel that it's really good. Also summoning Gemini AI instead of Google assistant is another factor that makes the experience better. It's great to know that android had it first before iPhones

I wish more phones came with a stylus and hope more phones continue to do so! Not just the pricey phones. I always want my backup phone to have a stylus for signing documents etc. Because I’m always needing to do so dealing with physical / mental health issues and not being able to get out much if at all. I hope I can catch the stylus phones on a sale the next time I need a backup or main phone ❤ great review !

After 4 years with my Note 10+, I'm ready for this new puppy. I'm going all out with the 1TB version so I can squeeze everything it can do.
Imma be honest 1tb is wayy overkill. 512gb is reasonable and you prob wouldn't get passed 400gbs

Nice, I did the same. What’s incredible is that if I use the Samsung Note 10+ again, I always think, “Oh, it’s also very nice.” The s24 ultra is, of course, better, but you can only see that if you compare them side by side.

Apart from AI slo-mo and AI features you use daily I felt dissappointed with Galaxy AI. But i guess samsung will improve it sooner or later.

Thanks for the unbiased review. Was stuck between upgrading s24 u from s22 u or keeping the s22 u. There is a promotion of trading in with 40% rebate and a free Watch 6. But the difference is so minimal and even the s22 u is an overkill device for me. I will just wait out 2-3 more years before considering an upgrade

I've had the 22 Ultra, 23 Ultra, and 24 Ultra. Biggest difference in 22 and 24 in your case is the battery mainly and the screen. The battery on my 22 was awful. If you're happy with it's battery, there's definitely no point in upgrading

Hold on to your s22. You may not like s24, since it oversharpens and over saturates your oicture too much. And is automatic, you cant change that. S22 have softer natural looks. Dont change. My friends regretted. But if u prefer fake over sharpen images, then s24 is super perfect
I kept hold of my S23 Ultra and didn’t bother with this upgrade, gonna check out the S25 Ultra in 2025 and see if it offers a complete redesign and worthy upgrades, great video as always Ella, greets from the UK 💜

I’m in India and I am torn between the ultra and plus models. What’s your take? Since I don’t use stylus if I am pick the ultra I would do so only for the more efficient SOC. Is that right to do? Or the plus is good enough for 3 year usage. FYI iPhone 13 Pro is my current phone.
Out of all AI features the Web Page Summary is the one I use the most often. The second best feature is note summary

Love this phone, if I could have one wish for this phone it would be for them to round the corners of the phone off more so that they weren't so sharp. That's really my one and only gripe, those corners are rough on the hand.
Ok, the iToothbrush cracks me up. Apple style box, Apple style stickers closing the box, laptop MagSafe style charger 😆 Kind of clever really.

I swap back and forth between several phones including the 15PM. I keep coming back to the S24U.
One thing i use mlre often is copy text from anywhere with the help of circle to search text grab feature

Yep it's amazing like my s23 ultra . The s24 ultra new dark corning glass is awesome for reflection in daylight. Samsung, Google, Huawei, Xiaomi etc are usually the best

I don’t know if you ran into the clock issue with Lock Screen. I like to add a second time zone on the Lock Screen, but it always get reversed back to default option for no reason. Super frustrating

I absolutely love the battery of the S24 Ultra. I really tried to kill it in a day, but it always manages to give me 20 to 30% around midnight.

Hey Ella,After watching your reviews on the new s24Ultra I switched from OnePlus 9 pro to this 2 months back...the reason i bought this is because of the stylus ... Being an architect it becomes so easy to take notes or sketch out some details on a daily basis.. didn't go for an iphone as i have been pretty much comfortable with the android ecosystem..plus point for iphone is that they have the lidar scanner which helps in 3d scanning the object....the quality of the camera seems pretty good for photos and videos... the ai features i feel are not always helpful ... The generative fill and stuff doesn't always work.. and we have good photo editing apps in the market..after hearing from one of your earlier videos that the older models were receiving the ai features, probably could have bought s23 ultra instead..... but i heard that after some updates to s23 ultra the camera quality degraded so felt like going this...the flat screen on s24 ultra feels much better and premium as compared to the s23 ultra curved screens...tho it's personal choice on the type of screen you want..overall,it feels like a sturdy phone which can last for more than 8 12 years even after the security updates....

I Concur! The screen imo is the GOAT feature of this phone, I am quite geeky and the fact I mention this every other day, it's that good.
I frequently use circle to search, spelling and grammar, summarize, and the AI in Samsung Notes.
