I switched from iphone to the S24 Ultra and I do not regret it. I was kinda nervous at first because I've had a iphone since the 3G came out and I'm not going to lie, it was a headache to learn Android. But once I got it,I fell in love with this phone. I also dropped my phone already and the screen completely shattered 😅. But I have the samsung care and got a new phone for $99.
I'm planning to do it too, I've always had apple here in Brazil, and with time it tends to become more expensive, so its so much money to buy products that are very overpriced that an apple ecosystem tends to be 3x expensive than buy products from samsung and use their ecosystem.

yes because a more scratch resistant screen is an easy cracking screen in every time they need to choose crack resistant over scratch res or scratch resistant over crack resistant.

I rarily do either but I downloaded quick cursor, it's a game changer when you're feeling lazy. I just have the free version, but even that is really nice.

Regarding Battery: I am on light mode processing, theme is dark, refresh rate is Standard 60hz, Screen is on FHD+, Power Saver is always on and I generally use battery from 80% to 35%, with web scrolling and moderate youtube watch it can last 1+ day but I still expected more. With this kind of saving I wanted at least 1.5 days. Idk maybe some future optimizations will improve battery usage.
Why did you get the best phone in the world and then operate it at 50% lol you people are a trip when you do stuff like that...I'm using mine at performance profile and 1440p and normal everything and get through my day no problem....maybe someday you will understand how to use a true flagship phone properly
@@digitalx3136 because most of the time I need its "50%", but if there will be need I could use it on 100% - simple. If your car has max speed of 300, your are not driving it everyday on max.
Makes no sense to last 1.5 days because then you have to charge your phone in the middle of the day. It makes more sense to put all the settings at max, charge the phone at night when you're sleeping then wake up with 100% charge that will last you the whole day and only charge b4 you go to sleep again.
Truly agree. Having less reflective surface with low nits is far better then having higher nits with reflective surface. I cant wait to laught when apple does the same thing with a fancy name to it 😂😅

I got to say you are brave. All my phones get a case. I've had many Samsung's and all of them have dropped at some point. No damage at any time, not even a scratch, but I'm not taking chances. I also have to say I've never had to replace a screen on any of my Samsung's even though none of them have had screen protectors. The cases do the job well enough. Even my current S22 ultra has a case, and that is the way it is going to stay.

I have got both iPhone 15 pro max and the s24 ultra, Lemme talk about one thing i hate about s24 ultra which u haven’t shared with the audience. Samsung s24 Ultra camera sucks when it comes to going live on social media apps like instagram FB and RUclips. Try going live on these apps using s24 ultra and for some strange reason, the OIS doesn’t get activated. The entire LIVE comes jittery. Hope samsung fixes it. Also as a vlogger who uploads videos on FB too, android fb app doesnt even allow us to add thumbnail to our videos while apple fb app allows us to do that.

Still using a S22U since preorder. It's survived an absolutely hard life with little damage. Dropped on road, off bed, off table, thrown, face first on steel, no major troubles.
cmon man enough with the paid promotions..... why arent you guys talking about the thousands of screen related issues that people are facing around the globe which samsung doesnt seem to care about. i myself own a samsung s24 ultra and it has the same grey diagonal line issues and the service centre staff are telling me that this isnt a problem and they cant do anything about it. Samsung has the worst service centre compared to any smartphone brands for sure.

I bought S24U because everybody says that the camera is the best. I need good camera on phone. I am dissapointed. Camera is missing wb and soo much noise, no sharp edges. Zoom pictures is not usable, only on samsung screen is ok.

I've never understood the metric of using a phone with one hand. That just seems like the stupidest, and least important thing to measure or worry about. Of course there is the one hand feature, but I've never found myself in a situation where it was vital for me to only use one hand with my phone. And if you are in this situation, you're probably doing something stupid. So as I said, it's a stupid thing to mention or worry about. Other than that, good vid.

switching over from Vivo x80 pro to this beauty. I hope its worth it. Main reason is: SD8gen3, 7 years os updates and support, cameras and software, on the go gaming, SAMSUNG. Once had the Galaxy Note 9 and never had this feeling of satisfaction while using a smartphone. So yeah. Really looking forward to this beast.
I've been using it with QHD+ from a month and believe me, everyday in the night I'm still left with 30% I do a lot of COD mobile gaming, watch movies, yt and even camera. And still the battery last an entire day. I can say that this phone is clearly worth buying. Before this I had s10+ which I had for about five years. Upgrading was worth it.
Totally agree!! This phone is a beast when it comes to battery life. I'm averaging between 12-14 hours of screen life per day (phone is used for work and personal) and when I plug in at night before bed I've usually got around 20% battery left. Couldnt be happier with my S24 Ultra. 😊
Hes not lying about the Battery. Its 7:28pm i took my phone off charge around 6:30am this morning. Regular use, facebook, texting, calls, TikTok scrolling, watching this video....im sitting at 54% My other phone would be dead by noon. Bout 6 hours. Im just thoroughly impressed by this phone .
I was in service center a few days back for my s20 ultra and saw many ppl who brought their S24 Ultras for some fault. Spoke to a few and it seems there's some known hardware issue with it where the phone will freeze and restart frequently. Samsung is yet to acknowledge the result officially but internet is filled with such issues. The problem with new gen phones being S24U or iPhone15, there high prices with low repairabilty is a big issue.
I have had the S24 Ultra for a month now. I agree with this review, except for the battery life. I get an average of 6-7hrs screen-on time. I have to charge it in the late afternoon to use it through the night. Outdoors on cellular, I get around 5hrs screen-on time from 100% to 0%, with adaptive brightness and Always-On Display enabled
I just want to say I'm still rocking a zfold 3. I've dropped it so many times. This thing has been through hell. I've never put a case on it, and no cracks, just minor scratches. I guess I'm just lucky, haha. I once had it unfolded, and it got hit by a basketball and thrown out of my hands. I've never seen a more violent phone roll, but it was totally fine, and that was on the concrete.

Battery sucks even with FHD, most of the apps put to sleep, adaptive display. Inability to change font size of an individual app is ruining my experience. I had high hope for S24 ultra. Regretting my purchase. Hate to have to return to iphone 15Pm.

I need some advice, I bought my S24 Ultra on FEB 19, i noticed my battery life is not that great. So am facing a % drop every 5-6 mins. Is this normal? I mostly use web browsing, whatsapp, instagram, facebook, tiktok, youtube. To be noted, I disable all background activity for all apps, I use dark mode, light performance profile, also i disable AOD. and I only charge my phone up to 80% only to protect the battery health. Please if anyone has been experiencing same issue, let me know.

Samsung should change the 5x camera to a 6x or 7x camera so we get better long range zoom shots on the S25 Ultra. The 3x and 5x are too close to each other, so the 3x cam isn't doing much. Changing 5x to 6x will improve the 100x zoom and be spaced out better (0.6x, 1x, 3x, 6x)

The Titanium sides is much more able to get scratched up! My friends is crazy mess already just taking in n out his pockets definitely needs a case! The matt silver is scraching up glossy and looks unsightly! Still not putting me off ordering mine now the updates been relised its like a whole new camera on it!

I remember my first tablet - my dear old Nexus 7. I thought it was the perfect size for a tablet, especially one that's not gonna just stay at home. It seemed huge next to my phone's 4-5 inches. Now my phone is barely more than a quarter inch smaller than that tablet.

Portrait video mode on S23ultra is much better... even live message feature is also missing. I hope we will get back those features in next updates...

Same here , am getting around 6.5 to 7, not more than that. I seriously don't think with heavy usage will last for 1 whole day.

I do a lot of COD mobile gaming, watch movies, yt and even camera. And still the battery last an entire day. I can say that this phone is clearly worth buying. Before this I had s10+ which I had for about five years. Upgrading was worth it.
Totally agree!! This phone is a beast when it comes to battery life. I'm averaging between 12-14 hours of screen life per day (phone is used for work and personal) and when I plug in at night before bed I've usually got around 20% battery left. Couldnt be happier with my S24 Ultra. 😊
Im still rocking the s10 plus for 5+ years,gonna wait on s25 ultra in few momths

Hes not lying about the Battery. Its 7:28pm i took my phone off charge around 6:30am this morning. Regular use, facebook, texting, calls, TikTok scrolling, watching this video....im sitting at 54%
My other phone would be dead by noon. Bout 6 hours.
Im just thoroughly impressed by this phone .
I was in service center a few days back for my s20 ultra and saw many ppl who brought their S24 Ultras for some fault. Spoke to a few and it seems there's some known hardware issue with it where the phone will freeze and restart frequently. Samsung is yet to acknowledge the result officially but internet is filled with such issues.
The problem with new gen phones being S24U or iPhone15, there high prices with low repairabilty is a big issue.
I have had the S24 Ultra for a month now. I agree with this review, except for the battery life. I get an average of 6-7hrs screen-on time. I have to charge it in the late afternoon to use it through the night.
Outdoors on cellular, I get around 5hrs screen-on time from 100% to 0%, with adaptive brightness and Always-On Display enabled

I just want to say I'm still rocking a zfold 3. I've dropped it so many times. This thing has been through hell. I've never put a case on it, and no cracks, just minor scratches. I guess I'm just lucky, haha. I once had it unfolded, and it got hit by a basketball and thrown out of my hands. I've never seen a more violent phone roll, but it was totally fine, and that was on the concrete.

Thanks for your response. Yes, i am getting banding when i click a shot in 12mp mode. It seems to be less visible in 50 or 200mp modes.
Battery sucks even with FHD, most of the apps put to sleep, adaptive display. Inability to change font size of an individual app is ruining my experience. I had high hope for S24 ultra. Regretting my purchase. Hate to have to return to iphone 15Pm.
Can't chance having this without case. I'm loving mine so far

I need some advice, I bought my S24 Ultra on FEB 19, i noticed my battery life is not that great. So am facing a % drop every 5-6 mins.
Is this normal? I mostly use web browsing, whatsapp, instagram, facebook, tiktok, youtube. To be noted, I disable all background activity for all apps, I use dark mode, light performance profile, also i disable AOD. and I only charge my phone up to 80% only to protect the battery health. Please if anyone has been experiencing same issue, let me know.

That vivo x100 pro's camera is amazing
Samsung should change the 5x camera to a 6x or 7x camera so we get better long range zoom shots on the S25 Ultra.
The 3x and 5x are too close to each other, so the 3x cam isn't doing much.
Changing 5x to 6x will improve the 100x zoom and be spaced out better (0.6x, 1x, 3x, 6x)

What no one rarely talking about is the auto post processing of the 50MP and 200MP photo mode overexposing the image making it completely unuseable.

I AM a native Spanish speaker I also have lot of problems when I speak English, but I make the Effort to récord my self and practice to make my pronounciation more understandable, also like you have very heavy accent
The Titanium sides is much more able to get scratched up! My friends is crazy mess already just taking in n out his pockets definitely needs a case! The matt silver is scraching up glossy and looks unsightly! Still not putting me off ordering mine now the updates been relised its like a whole new camera on it!

I remember my first tablet - my dear old Nexus 7. I thought it was the perfect size for a tablet, especially one that's not gonna just stay at home. It seemed huge next to my phone's 4-5 inches.
Now my phone is barely more than a quarter inch smaller than that tablet.
I own both s24u & iphone 15 pro max. One thing i notice that samsung need to improve is the camera capture speed. Other that, its perfect.
just happy watching last year people could not get any negatives with s23 ultra and same case is here to other then boxy corners, THis will be my next device upgrading from s22 ultra i hope upgrading will be worth it
