- We've built precisely one custom Harley Davidson motorcycle in our 13 years of existence, and we just purchased it from the original owner.
Alan runs through the origin of the 2010 Sportster 883 Iron that would affectionately become known as "The Hardley," and why we bought it, shares his ability to sniff and age gasoline(much like fine wine), and recounts some fond memories of the Hardley racing in France.

Love the oil and battery location, unique
Less weight helps everything. Nice!
What an epic bike!
Being a Buell fanboy, I love this build. This is way better than any Sportster model, and although it is custom, probably took you less time to build than it does HD to develop any new updates to the Sportster line. I know the new ones coming out are liquid cooled, HD should commission you to do something with the new motor.
👍👍👍👍👍
Love seeing this bike again! Sounds amazing, looks even better.
Man, I bet yeah stoked about getting it back....congratulations.

What’s the story with the belt tensioner? Is that a product I can buy somewhere?
Is that part of the Harley mystique, you have to grab your crotch to turn it off?
