    Tech Specs:
    4 buckle
    98mm Last
    130 Flex
tech toe (AT compatible) and Grip Walk Sole
    Liner:
Memory Fit 3D Platinum Light Liner - Features an anatomical fit and secure foot hold thanks to pre-shaped, thermo-formable ankle and heel zones.
    Shell:
Instead of starting with a standard construction and cutting material away to save weight, Prolite does the opposite. It starts with the slimmest possible profile and then builds up reinforcements in key areas where strength is needed - like the Energy Backbone down each boot spine.
Energy Backbone - A reinforced, asymmetric backbone providing extra strength for powerful skiing plus enhanced lateral energy transmission for better edge grip.

Great review Sage! Thank you for sharing! Always enjoy watching you shred. Had a massive great time back in the Peruvian fort season of 2000, 2001!!! The homeboys Danny and Estevan say hello.

Hey, thank you sharing. Interesting to hear your inputs on the boot. I am pretty much allways getting the tongue pinched when taking the boots on or off - its a bit annoying. Got any advice on how to avoid that? I have the boot in ski mode when taking it on or off.

Nice tip about ski mode for on/off, I find the same thing. I've never run a Booster on my touring boots before, but I have on alpine boots (used to race), maybe I'll try that out, it should improve ski performance a bit with no downside on touring?

Ski mode /on off mode ;) Yeah all upside with the booster upgrade, Id guess the only thing is its a few grams heavier, but that's negligible

Expert or WC booster strap? And have you thought about keeping the stock cam strap on and using booster as well (similar theory to the new dual strap on the hawx professional)

I Dont remember which booster.. I think the WC, the new cam on the hawx is pretty good, but still like the flexibility of the booster

    Hi Sage,
Thanks for the nice vid. What size are you with on a brannock and what is the size of your Hawx XTD? Thanks.

Yeah forgot to mention size! I am 5' 10 " tall and wear a Med. with pant and Jacket,
I run a size 10 usa shoe, but am in the 27.5 Hawx XTD

Thanks Sage. I grabbed also 27.5 (not having used them yet) despite my right one is US 10.5 and the left is 11. Tried 28.5 - a flip-flop in a heel pocket especially on the right one. The verdict was to downsize by two sizes with a proper toe box blowing (am about to go thru). Any advice/criticism is surely welcome. Thanks.

@@romanfilonoff2352 Yeah sounds like tricky feet, well, a good fitter and a good liner and you should be dialed. I usually downsize two sizes as well. good luck!
