    Why isn't boa on cuff?

My guess is stiffness. The cuff has more impact on the stiffness than the over lap of the foot. I can imagine that the buckles would have an order of magnitude higher stiffness compared to BOA, though obviously much more finicky to get a fit right.

@@jameswright4732the boa offers a wrapping sensation around your foot. The buckles tend to be stiffer and lock ur heel in. It’s a different feel entirely

This lady should do her homework better. There is no generic BOA. The higher end BOA systems on cycling shoes offer the same functionality in terms of microadjustment-you can turn the dial both ways to tighten/loosen the cable.
Changing from Grilamid to PU was a genius move and the new Ultra XTD is fantastic boot that can serve as one boot quiver.

I think that's what she's saying - the generic one is not the high end ones in cycling shoes. I've owned a lot of boas over the years and most of them work with the functionality she describes - you have to pop to release tension.

Boring and didn’t show each product more closely.
