Im not in the USA but listening to this interaction convinced me to order a K2 Recon 120 BOA… I had the Salomon S/Pro 120 BOA in my basket for a few weeks as well as recently getting Head Nexo Lyt 110 which I just didn’t get along with. New boot will arrive too late for me skiing this season but at least I can test fit etc and be ready for the next one. Cheers
I keep my toe clip so loose there’s almost no tension in the buckle. It keeps my toes warm. With buckles you can adjust the pressure at each buckle according to your preference. With BOA you can’t. The ratio of the pressure at each section of your foot is determined by the tension of just one cable. Correct me if I’m wrong.
