- Universal Studios Beijing created quite possibly the best dark ride of all time: Jurassic World Adventure. This ride, themed to the popular Jurassic World Movie franchise, is primarily revered for the scene where an idominus rex animatronic chases the ride vehicle. How did Universal Creatives craft such as impressive effect? From the ride system to the animatronic to the overall dynamic energy of the scene, this video will analyze the engineering behind the best moment on one of the best theme park rides in the world and reveal how Jurassic World adventure works. It is the only dark ride I've seen that rival VelociCoaster in quality as far as Jurassic Park rides go, so here is a Jurassic World Adventure Analysis.

I am very happy that theme parks are going back to being reliant on more practical effects over just more screens and CGI
Uh yeah. That indominus head that roars at you before the drop on the water ride…. That thing’s shitting its pants at this.
Universal nails dinosaur animatronics.
really impressive how this insane, showstopping effect is seamlessly optimized for ride capacity
Absolutely. The ride is a masterpiece.
@@ThemeParkAvenue encouraging to see Disney & Universal spending big on the east asian market, just hope we can get some crumbs
When Epic Universe opens I guarantee that the dark ride for the universal monsters land will be considered one of the best new dark rides for 2025. From what I heard that ride is going to have multiple lifelike animatronics with little screens. Which would make the ride super immersive along with it having the new kuka arm ride system. It's going to be mind blowing and game changing. I'm glad universal is finally changing the game after so many years.
The Ministry of Magic Potter ride will also be very impressive. It is rumored to have a similar effect like this one with an animal of some kind chasing you.
I wish they’d replace River Adventure with this ride. But yeah Epic Universe looks incredible. I may have to get an annual pass.
Honestly it's impressive because it's a full-body rex too; most of them are just the upper-body
Very true. This is a mind-blowing piece of engineering.
The ride I really want to ride but I’ll never get to.
Maybe one day
I kind of assumed it had its own track right on top of or next to the vehicle’s track, and maybe there were a couple of them for capacity, but this much more clever.
That does make sense, Universal creatives are just so talented and innovative.
Great video! I wish they had something like this at Kings Island or cedar point! Very cool!
Unfortunately, Kings Island and CP are unlikely to be able to afford an attraction like this.
They went out of the blue when they figured out how it was made
Ahh, I see what you did there, Blue like the Velociraptor
Crazy
Hey I'm working on a huge project, Ranking Every Country in the World Based on Coaster Count, and was wondering if you would like to be part of the script?
I am eager to see your project come together, but it depends on how much I have to say/do. I have a lot in the works right now so it may be difficult for me to complete it, but I will try.
@@ThemeParkAvenue Alright, if you can collaborate, is there any way I can contact you?

Imagine combining the scoop with a trackless dark ride?
That would be insane.
bro i thought he went on the track the ride went 💀
Too bad its jurassic world and not park.
I think for the theme of the ride, the more futuristic Jurassic World makes sense even if Jurassic Park is a much better movie.
