I just wanted say thank you Motonosity for inspiring me to get into riding. I got my very first bike yesterday, a SV650 and it was all inspired by watching your old school SV650 videos. I could not be happier.
Was watching Chaos Causes wrap his bike, 3M Finish Line Knifeless Tape was a HUGE help for him. Something to maybe add in!

dude! you can wrap it no problem! I actually just tried my first wrap job like a month ago, I wrapped my forks from gold to black and it was a lot easier than I was expecting. not saying I am a pro but with some patience, it came out super clean and I was dang proud!

Looks like a good time. Pro-Tip - using fishing line for removing panels held on with 3M Molding Tape makes it a lot easier than a knife to plastic. Heat it and run the fishing line back and forth underneath, cuts like butter.
Gold fairing bolts?
I work for a company that wraps entire vehicles. If you’ve never wrapped anything you’re going to have a hard time getting into tighter areas. We send our guys off for 2 weeks to learn before they start. I hope the best for you though! Be very patient, an extra set of hands always helps to hold up the corners, and watch out for those dreaded air pockets!
I’m in the same boat as you. I’ve been trying to decide if I wanna wrap my zx6 or get my new fairings painted .... haven’t fully decided yet

When removing 3M double sided tape sometimes a piece of dental floss works really well after heating the adhesive. That way you aren't so close to the paint with a blade. Either way looks like you got through it. Good luck with the wrap. That white should look crispy clean.

should be interesting on the curves of the bike. when i wrapped my grom it was such a pain as the fairings were so tiny and the curves were so tight but i got it done lol cant wait to see the outcome.
From experience, It is a whole lot easier to wrap the large fairings while they are on the bike, even if you just put a minimal amount of screws back in them so you can take them back off to wrap around to the back edge.
Pearl metallic white with gold forks and black wheels. Awesome, same colour scheme as colours on my bike in stock paint. Will look great on R6.
The tape you need to replace the tape on the wings is also made by 3M it is their silicone tape. Comes in permanent and mostly permanent. Sticky sticky stuff!
What is your pre-workout routine? Maybe make a video taking us along (like the fitnosity days)?
What about the blue wheels? I'm planning in wrapping my bike, but I can't figure out what to do with the wheels. They are black now and I don't think that will go food with the colors I want.

This is gonna be cool, I would have enjoyed a chrome gold on it. But I don't own the bike but looking a chrome gold wrapped bikes on pictures they do look super cool

Little late now, but the rear winglets come off with 3 bolts and a screw. No need to break the glue. At least on my 2018 models that’s how it was

You can try to design your logo and stick it on the side fairings (unless you want the vinyl completely clean) But I think it will make a good contrast and it might be very cool. At least after you wrap it you can test it with photoshop :)

The wheels would look good powder coated black or like a darker gray with the white imo

Yes those glue on the back is called 3m double sided tape and you can buy it at autozone and auto stores !!
Same colour as my GSXR 750 :D the 2017 model was White with red/orange flick.... Looks amazing
3m makes a double sided adhesive tape that looks just like that stuff... very very strong. It is strong enough to hold a vortex generator on an Evo :)
How much wrap did you end up buying to wrap your whole bike?? Was it expensive?
Wrapping is very hard , to be really good you have to wrap alot , getting them bubbles out is soon hard and it's easier to wrap while parts are on bike cuz u have to pull the wrap and if the part is not secure it makes it so much harder!!! Good luck buddy
Tomislav Lulic if you use avery supreme it lays down a lot easier and a very is still a good expressive brand at my shop we use avery and 3m

Chaoscauses did a wrap for his R1 a while back. It might be of use to you. Cool dude with high quality videos, but not a lot of subscribers yet.
Going to look soooo sick bro, you should consider a light bronze-goldish powdercoat for the wheels to go with the white 🤤

being a graphic installer and have wrapped multiple motorcycles. its better to leave the plastics on the bike as best you can. Gives you a LOT of help when it comes to having to stretch the material around. the only plastic that i would have probably removed would be the front wheel cowl. But im glad you chose the best material to do the job that 1080 series from 3m is pretty good stuff. GOOD LUCK SIR! I did hear you are going to be using knife-less tape, honestly with a motorcycle its better just use a knife and cut along the edges and if you can by some clear 3m sealer tape that will guarantee the edges from not lifting. Reason being is that a motorcycle has a TON of wind running around it and vinyl does not like that especially after being stretched.
