Having the right proportions are truly the key. I feel very "momish" and "matronly" when I go too deeply into the classics and quiet luxury style. I feel ridiculous wearing loafers. (I bought a pair of them along with ballet flats last year and hate wearing either of them.) I do embrace wearing simple lines and solid colors, but I need a bit more flair like platform sandals or doc martens boots for my style essence. I love all of your videos, Chi! Thank you for everything you do to help us petite women look and feel our best!
That all black halter neck was 🔥on you! Absolutely the most attractive outfit you have modeled!!!
Could you please do one for modest outfits for short girls ?
Thank you! I wanted to mention that I live in Toronto and I met another petite woman at a local pool and we started talking and I discovered she also follows you. It was nice to bond and have something in common. Keep going Chi!
🌹🌹🌹Thank you Chi! Because of you I actually receive compliments on my ensembles. I finally understand what is best for me, and it feels wonderful! Appreciation to you for all your videos, Chi.
I'm an older woman and your videos are always so well done and helpful. You are so darling, too!
Thanks for showing classical clothes for petites! They are harder to find in small sizes, but stay current much longer (whatever some of the trendier YT style gurus think...).
Just watching this video made me feel rich! I like the tip about the fabrics. That's the key! Thank you, Chi!!! 🤍
I discovered Goelia through another influencer. I have those white pants and shorts. I'm really liking this brand. You are the 3rd influencer I've seen showcase the coordinated short set, and I'm sure I'll see more. It looks great. I guess Goelia is really getting out there.
classic, subtle, quality, intentional, fabrics, structure, KISS principle, great fit = quiet luxury .......some things never change. Thanks for scaling it to petites:)
Thanks so much, I am the same size as you, so it really helps me know what to choose… I have always been a woman who chooses solid colors and neutral colors ever since I was 20 years old I was dressing that way. I was a manager of a clothing store at 20 years old and I wore a size 3.😊
You're welcome! 💖💖
I loved your video even though i dont like quite luxury style. I always appreciate your advice. 😊
Thank you so much! 💖
Really cute theme. Very much enjoyed...
Love those clothes they are great
You show great selection in clothes
Casual Summer clothes you have on
Without needless intimates beneath
Gives you a look that I really enjoy
Another great video ! 👏🏻 I love that your videos are not just talking concepts, but there is always illustrations with the clothes! Maybe a future video could be workout clothes for petites …
Thank you so much! ❤️

I knew this! But couldn’t put my finger in it. Everyone I would try and style this way, it just didn’t look right! Thank you!
You're very welcome! 💖
A very good video, love those styles! Other reviewer is correct harder to find in petites. Loved that you did this video. Hope all is well with you and your family!☺️
Thank you so much! ❤️
Thank you Chi 🙂
You're welcome! 💖💖
Your're a lovely model. Good video!
Thank you so much! 💖
Thank you ❤
Chi, I'm not sure if you have covered this (I'll search shortly) material? I'm seeing that Scuba is in the cards for 2024 but I don't think that it will work for petite individuals like us.
I’ve tried a couple of dresses made with scuba material and they haven’t worked for me. Not sure if it’s because I’m short though. I don’t like the stiffness of the material, it also seems like it would be too hot and unbreathable.
I don’t do horizontal stripes! Makes me look wide!
What is really the right length for wide leg pants when wearing heels?? I keep hearing “floor length” but I constantly see people and models with just a tad of the heel showing. It fully makes me think I will need several pairs hemmed different lengths based on the exact heel (I usually do a mix of 2-4 inches, or 1 inch ankle boots) - SOUNDS SO EXPENSIVE!
What is best course of action?
Floor length hems will cause a lot of wear and tear on the material. Showing a bit of heel is my preference. It still elongates the leg while keeping the hem from rubbing on the ground.
Just to add, I'm not investing much in the wide-leg look. It's a bit extreme, which means a relatively short fashion life. I have one pair; my other pants are straight-leg or boot-cut.
@@edennis8578 love that tip for the hem length. And so I have thicker thighs and hips and I love how slimming and elongating wider leg cuts look on me esp when I can nip in the waist. I’m never going to feel amazing in the straight legs bc they’re like skinny jeans in the thighs haha. I do have 2 pairs but i sized up and took in the waist to make it work - then they just look like mom jeans vs sleek.
@@ashleyk397Interesting. I've always had big thighs and hips, and wide leg pants usually make me look bigger. I'm not talking about slim-leg styles, either. I mean a straight-leg style like Banana Republic's Palma Straight-Leg Linen Pant or Ralph Lauren's Graison Wool Gabardine Pant. There's more room in the thighs and hips than slim-leg styles have.
Das video ist sehe schön❤
thank you for sharing this video🥰,, more videos please like office wear, more on pants or slacks w/no heels, because i always standing & carry some heavy papers also more on walking, to make me taller, thank you.
You're welcome! ❤️
I do love your videos & very helpful hints.
What jackets do you recommend to wear with dresses?
Are cropped jackets the best?
Does it change with the length of the dress?
Many thanks
Thank you so much! 💖 Cropped jackets are nice with dresses that are above the knee.
I have a 25th anniversary party coming up, can you suggest classy petite outfit options please. I am attending as. Guest.
Спасибо! Полезные советы.
Quiet luxury sounds cheesy for me. I prefer understated classic styles. CHI picked out the cute ones for petite ladies.
Quiet luxury is a bit more upscale than understated classics, that's all. For example, an understated classic might be a plain cotton crewneck sweater, which can be found at many price points. Quiet luxury might be a cashmere crewneck sweater, which begins at a slightly higher price point, or cotton at a higher price point. I think that quiet luxury can be replicated to a point in low price points, but that's when it can start looking cheesy. For example, a navy blazer with cheap-looking buttons will make a quiet-luxury outfit look cheesy right out of the gate. Several decades ago, one of the major retail stores sent me a catalog with three women on the front; all of the women wore monochromatic outfits with a longish cashmere cardigan, a silk blouse, and elegant wool trousers. One outfit was cream, one was camel, one was silver gray. I knew that's what I wanted to look like. Raising kids and having pets didn't lend itself to quiet luxury every day, but understated classic isn't so difficult.
These white pants are not petite though, right?

They don't think of plus size petites with the company you are advertising for. When one gets older medicines can make you a plus size. That is what happened to my size 4 body. Now it is hard to find good clothing in my size and I don't wear heels because of my knees. Fashion has forgotten my type of women and our age group. Find some companies.for us.
I have to say I think your Facebook on Petite Dressing has been hi-jacked and it's definitely not in line with your advice. But just as importantly, Freda, is aggressively challenging to anyone who voices an opinion or dares to disagree. We get she's an ex personal shopper/designer but that doesn't make her God or right for that matter. If she wants her own channel or Facebook that's fine but the latest one on colour blocking has some quiet ridiculous comments from Freda that could potentially affect someone else's business. And, no, I am not the business affected.
I like my Goelia items, but so far, they’re all silk. I’m not convinced that Triacetate is breathable, Acetate isn’t, not one bit! I’m going to try my new Goelia Triacetate dress tomorrow, we’ll see. They took down their search engine a few weeks ago, now it’s really difficult to shop there, causing my early enthusiasm for this brand to wane. I’m not willing to look through so many hundreds of items. Note: for those of European descent, the bodices (busts and waists) run really small, size up. They don’t have much over their Large size, which is equivalent to a US Medium. A few items come in XL, but not many.
🙏🙏🙏😍🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💖💖💖💖💖💖💜💜💜💜🌹💐🌹💐👍👍
.....sometimes I dress myself around that favorite pair of shoes......meh🙃
I don't look good in black and white stripes, nor navy, I think it doesn't go well against my skin tone. I wish red and white stripes would come into fashion as quiet luxury.
It's the red that isn't "quiet."
@@edennis8578 a very thin line
I’m 5 ft 2 and I have a 30 inch inseam. Those white pants would hit me at the ankle, not give me room to wear with heels. It’s been a problem my entire adult life.
Aren’t Army boots a Classic, LOL?
Long leg petite!
Horizontal stripes- what happened to looking short?
I've been seeing wide-leg ankle-length pants worn with beautiful matching-color ankle boots in the catalogs. I like that look.
I’ve learned a lot from you but this look seems the least flattering.
Aweeeee, that's so good to hear! 💖
