hi the normal streamlabs scene switcher does not work for me it keeps saying enable remote connections for streamlabs and ive enabled everything i even made my network settings public and private for all related apps and it still didnt work
This Is great! If you are have a connection error try these steps; 1.) Make sure Streamlabs is open before running Scene Switcher. 2.) Go into Streamlabs < Settings < Remote Control. Then click to show QR code. Then allow access through the firewall. 3.) Run Scene Switcher and Streamlabs as administrator at the same time.
This will really help out with my streams since I always forget to switch scenes! Now my viewers don't have to stare at the client anymore! Great explanation too

I was looking for other content, and I fell for your video. I loved it and I'm going to install this automatic change to use in my lives. I am looking for some tutorial that explains how to change the webcam during transmission, automatically. For example: Supposing that I have 3 webcans connected, is there any way for me to look at camera 1, camera 3, camera 2, and the facecam of the transmission automatically switch to the camera I'm looking at, as it happens on television? A friend told me that he saw this in another broadcast. But he doesn't know if it was automatic. Or if it was a button used by the streamer. Thanks!

Not sure if it's the same for DJ version but in the one in the video I found out if you just click on the scene you want to delete and hit the DEL key it will remove the scene. :)
Hi, i have 5 webcams, each in their own scene in SL-OBS. Ive been using the original OBS with Advanced Scene Switcher but that doesnt work in SL-OBS, and OBS is less stable compared to SL-OBS. I'd like to be able to switch between the scenes in SL-OBS via a timer, in a loop, and be able to specify the time on each scene, same as Advanced Scene Switcher. You mentioned you have beta software to do this for SL-OBS, i'd be very happy to be a beta tester if possible, please let me know, cheers, David
Okay, I did some research and here's what I've learnt, for users getting "No Connection to Streamlabs OBS. Please check if open and remote connections are allowed." like myself. It seems the program is not able to find the "Remote controls" API token even after revealing it and clicking done. So how easy would it be to program in a function to allow users to enter their API token to allow the remote connection?
Does this work with Mac? I stream myself playing the drums using Streamlabs OBS and do not have the time to switch my scenes as I play. I have multiple scenes and angles. Will this help me switch between my video scenes randomly as I stream? This would be amazing if it can. I see that you are switching programs as you open and close them in the video. I need it to switch automatically at random or every 30, 45 seconds. Thanks
This is fantastic. I'd like one additional feature, though. Switching based on Window Title, not just process/exe. A usage example: RetroArch is a emulator app for old game consoles. All of them. And different consoles have different aspect ratios so I like to have a few different scenes to reflect that. They're all running through a single process (retroarch.exe), but the window title changes depending on which old game console is running (eg: "RetroArch bSNES bc1ef33"). So yes, it would be fantastic if this tool could pick up on window title changes and switch my scenes around.
hi, can this tool also switch scenes according to a incoming bandwidth? like in a IRL stream, if the bandwidth is too low it will switch to a BRB scene?
this is currently not possible and not on the roadmap for future releases. I will have a look if the OBS / Streamlabs API provides data about dropped frames (for example) to make this possible, but I cannot promise anything
i'd love to have that timer one, if it works along side this one my plan for this is to have my starting scene play the custom audio for 1 minute before switching to the next scene and be taken over my this automatic scene switcher

hey, would it be possible to add delay before scene switching? for example, it switches as soon as it detects the program, but the program itself hasn't loaded yet, so for a few seconds there is a black screen, because it switched already, even though the game wasn't ready yet. So having the possibility to add a custom delay would be very nice :)

I followed your simple tutorial, it does switch scene but it doesnt pull/show assets/sources for that sceen (e.g. my camera stay in same spot but it should move to bottom, camera border doesnt show, when I finish game of League it goes to correct scene but again assets/sources are not shown.) False alarm, I am sorry. I didn't put scenes in right order, I didn't read this: "In League of Legends you want the in game rule above the client rule. Now if you start a game it will select the “in game” rule and display the connected OBS scene in your stream, and if you close a game it will go down to the next rule (and therefore scene) in the list."
It also looks like unfortunately, this program cannot differentiate between programs that have identical task names in task manager. This happens with vmconnect for hyper-v virtual boxes. Whichever scene rule is on top, is the vmconnect.exe it accesses, but then it assumes ALL the other vmconnect's you address are the same one.
Super helpfull! Could you also create a program that will switch scenes based on what's happening with the chatbox? For example: When someone raids me, I want to go to a seperate scene (which will play an animation). After the animation/video is done playing, I want to switch back or go to another scene.
Additional interactions based on Twitch API Data is on my ToDo, but currently I have set my priority to create a working Multiplattform solution, so Mac users can use it too!
Hi, would this work for rocket league? I want to have it so it changes the stream overlays when i am in and out of a game. I cant find a difference between the process names, its just 'rocket league'

currently thats not possible. You have to start your stream with the Intro Scene manually and activate the sceneswitcher after it is finished. We have a few more features on our roadmap, I will add this. Maybe we can do it in the final release!
Thanks man, this is fucking awesome. Would love to be able to add a rule to disable it from switching on certain scenes though. When I go to my BRB scene, I have to manually turn it off if I want free reign to check on other windows while I'm on break.
Depending on the location where you store the .exe and .xml file. The app needs permission to write in the xml, some folders (like Program Files) cannot be written without admin permissions.
Anyone else getting an unhandled exception pop up whenever they start the scene switching? Could it be due to me only adding two scenes to the program when I have more in my Streamlabs?
Unhandled Exceptions are always „bad“ because there is some case that i didn‘t think of while programming. Could you post the message that is shown in details in the exception?

No, sadly there is no Mac support right now. There is a Version for random scene switching: bit.ly/3abd2os But Mac support will take some time

they should be saved automatically. If you cannot save them, the app probably doesn't have permission to write in the folder.

Just downloaded. This time I could open the Aytee window but it doesn't connect to Streamlabs even though it is on. Any ideas for a fix?

Does this program remember the processors and scenes when restarted?
yes it is saved in a config file. If it does not save it, there is propably a permission problem on the folder you saved the app in.

Absolutely true! Same problem for browser windows. I will investigate how to solve this and add it to a new release.

unfortunately it only works for different processes. Games who use the same application for lobby and ingame are not supported :(
