When I am streaming a live game play....is there a way to toggle the dashboard on my screen over my game screen to change things and or stop the streaming? For example...in Arma 3 if I hit shift+tab my stream chat pops over the game play and I can respond to messages, chat and then go back to the game. Is there a way to do that with the dashboard?

great tutorial- so I have a question. I set up my scenes- i set up the hotkeys- it is switching perfectly while the OBS program is running live. but when i minimize the program and want to start recording my screen and press my hotkeys it comes up with the "dud" sound- no action. in other words, once i start recording and minimize obs, the hotkeys don't function. is there a way for me to switch between facecam (scene 1) and desktop+facecam (scene 2) whilst the OBS software is recording and minimized?

How did you do Control + a number when it looked like you were only using one hand?

You could try keyboard shortcuts (maybe like F1 for your scene 1, F2 for scene 2 etc as long as they are not in use already by the game?) and perhaps add fade as the transition in OBS.
