Is there a way to get this to not only change the scene based on which game I have open, but also change which game (category) I am currently streaming to in Twitch without manually switching? For example, if I close out of Rocket League it changes from my RL scene to my Just Chatting scene (and changes my category on Twitch from Rocket League to Just Chatting) then if I open another game; let's just say, Overwatch it changes my scene and Twitch category to Overwatch? If I want to stream Steam games then I have to switch to Integrated graphics for things to work but then I can't stream League because I get a blackscreen when in-game (fullscreen). Is there a way out to this?
This is a really nice feature, but how are you getting around the issue for games where the executable doesn't change? When I fire up my game.exe, it takes me to the login page where I enter my account credentials to access my characters. I don't want to show this information when I switch between 1 account and another - which I do frequently. I will say that the title of my screen changes from [Game Name - Character] to just [Game Name]. Perhaps there is a way to read the window title as opposed to the executable name?
What should people do that have a blackscreen scene which they sometimes want to switch to while for example having the game open in order to hide personal/private information like one's credit card info during an in-game-purchase? Switching to the blackscreen-scene while the automatic scene switcher is enabled would only result in it switching back to the game scene... any advice?

tried using this and I thought this auto scene switcher will switch scenes based on the scenes alone with customizable timers but it seems like it's not the case as the switching is source or application-linked based on what a scene has which only seems to work on single pc streaming setup. I wish it has a feature that you can set timers to a scene to switch automatically and not have to link the application or source you are running.. for example, if I have a 2 min intro scene with a 2 min countdown timer and i want it to automatically switch to my just chatting/pre game scene when the countdown ends instead of manually switching it which I don't think this switcher can do. of course, the usage is very much preferential and there might be a possible work around it. I'm not saying this isn't a good addon to obs but i think it needs some more added customizability or features.
I have windows 10 and the game still showed a black screen until I made the league settings windowed mode and then replaced the game capture with window capture.
Thank you so much for your comment. I didn't even know about layering, and I was confused as to why it kept changing scenes when I tabbed out of League so I used your method and it works wonders. Much thanks
I have a question about the Scene Switch and hopefully there is a Solution :D I use a timer for before i start my stream and i have a auto scene switch setup to switch to a "default" scene if no window matches my current window. Now if im running my Timer and i open my browser it switches to my default scene. I know i can start and stop the scene switch. I was just wondering if there was a way to setup a script or something that goes through and recognizes my timer is running and wont switch as long as it is active?
can we do the auto scene switcher on streamlabs obs? @Gaming Careers. If not, how do you guys do to switch scene when playing league while streaming? manually?
Hello, how can I configure OBS to do the same as shown in the video but with a variety of games, not only the ones that have a client+game window but for other games as well??
Terminology about client in network means usually situation of client/server, the game program is the client program which connects the game server. I'm not sure if I understood what is the problem with this client-thing, it should be just like it is to my understanding. Also web browser is a client program, which contacts web servers. And so on.
It's called "Client" because it's the client side of the application from a game development standpoint. As part of the client-server relationship, your game is the client.
More specifically, there is a client/server relationship. The server is the one that all the clients access.
This. Thank you sir, it was annoying when he pointed it the second time. Multiplayer games have local clients and online servers

this doesn't work. i did exactly what you did and it switched to game, but doesn't show loading screen for some reason, and didn't switch black to lobby
ok it works if I click the loading screen for some reason, same with switching back to client
A friend told me that I'm allowed to play any music I want when I stream on twitch, even if it's copyrighted. Is that true? He said the only punishment I'll receive is a mute on my vods. Please answer quickly because I don't want a strike on my channel.
tried using this and I thought this auto scene switcher will switch scenes based on the scenes alone with customizable timers but it seems like it's not the case as the switching is source or application-linked based on what a scene has which only seems to work on single pc streaming setup.
This guy really wants to let you know that he has no idea what a client is.
I'm tring to have a scene changed automatically when I end my game....to like a Goodbye and Thank you scene, but am having trouble!!!
I have windows 10 and the game still showed a black screen until I made the league settings windowed mode and then replaced the game capture with window capture.
yeah i have the same problem, it might be because running to monitors...?
i keep them both in same scene and i have no problem so i don't need second :) and thanks this helped a lot
Thank you so much for your comment. I didn't even know about layering, and I was confused as to why it kept changing scenes when I tabbed out of League so I used your method and it works wonders. Much thanks
I have a question about the Scene Switch and hopefully there is a Solution :D
I use a timer for before i start my stream and i have a auto scene switch setup to switch to a "default" scene if no window matches my current window.
Now if im running my Timer and i open my browser it switches to my default scene.
I know i can start and stop the scene switch. I was just wondering if there was a way to setup a script or something
that goes through and recognizes my timer is running and wont switch as long as it is active?
can we do the auto scene switcher on streamlabs obs? @Gaming Careers.
If not, how do you guys do to switch scene when playing league while streaming? manually?
If this is what i think it is, where were you Wednesday when I streamed my starting scene for hours NotLikeThis
OBS not being able to find the LoL Game part ..?
Hello, how can I configure OBS to do the same as shown in the video but with a variety of games, not only the ones that have a client+game window but for other games as well??
Terminology about client in network means usually situation of client/server, the game program is the client program which connects the game server. I'm not sure if I understood what is the problem with this client-thing, it should be just like it is to my understanding. Also web browser is a client program, which contacts web servers. And so on.
If I alt-tab it changes to the "client" scene.. :/
This shouldn't happen I think? or at least I wouldn't like it to happen...
