A 20 minute video that covers all the information without a life story and in-depth and actually teaches us how to set the filters properly to our setup?! 20/10 for me.
Dude I just wanna say I love this video. I know it’s like 4 months old so you probably won’t see this comment but I just really wanna thank you. I did a live stream yesterday where my audio quality was a messed up. I have like a very small channel so no one really watched the stream so I really didn’t have any feedback to let me know how the audio was and I didn’t hear it either when I was checking. I streamed for two hours and the noise quality was horrible and afterwards I was on the verge of tears. But then I found your video and you just breakdown everything so well and explain it and it DRASTICALLY improved my audio quality and literally fixed every problem I had from yesterday and I just wanna say thank you so much man. Your channel might not be as big as you want but your content quality and information is just amazing and I can’t thank you enough for making a simple 20 minute video fixing all my problems. All I wish is I discovered your channel sooner. Thanks so much man

I know that I am late to the party in finding your content, but I seen you state that you were thinking about giving up. I just wanted to say that out of all the videos on setting up this new venture I'm partaking in yours were by far the best. They are so detailed, and informative. Your videos are always well shot and very professional looking. I went to an Art Institute when I graduated high school and took several classes in audio. I really believe I retained more from your 22 minute video then I did an entire semester class on it lol. I know that you have to do what is best for you, and spend your time on things that will benefit you the most. I just wanted to let you know that even though the numbers may not show it right now. Hey first of all thank you for this tutorial. After copying these settings my mouse clicks sounds very loud in the background while I speak. Is there any easy fix for that or is it just because I have cardioid mic which picks up sounds from wider area?
Just an FYI, the 'Noise Suppression' should be right after the 'Gain' filter. The 'Compressor' and 'Expander' will introduce patterns in the noise which makes the 'Noise Suppression' less effective. Not necessary for most setups, but for example if you buy a high gain mic like the sm57/58 and plug it straight into the pc motherboard (mic in), you can push most of the noise out and have a very usable mic without an audio interface.
Thank you so much for this!! I've been streaming for around a year and my audio quality has been fine. Passable, but not great. Hi, i'm guessing your microphone is on your bench and not on a boom stand? If i'm correct your microphone will be picking up the vibrations from the keyboard which means it'll be picking up your typing.

Incredible tutorial. Any tips on reducing keyboard sounds while talking? There's no keyboard when I'm silent, but while I talk it's quite loud.
Love it, just applied it and it almost got rid of all my problems I had with my older setting and new mic. Big thanks man!
