I'm not normally a fan of traditional jigs, reels, etc. but these guys are SUCH good musicians that there is plenty of variety in the arrangements, the key changes also make for a refreshing diversity. Excellent playing - and I especially love the button accordion, both playing the tunes and the sustained notes whilst accompanying the other lead players.
I’ve never heard better playing that’s the gods truth amazing couldn’t choose one player over the other everything was perfect in my ears and brought joy to my heart and food to my soul amen
Fantastic musicianship and good laugh too! I was so lucky to see that awesome band play at Wheelan's, Dublin, in 2016. Pure joy on stage and in the audience alike. Great voice and great dance too. The full set.
I have loved Irish music for over years though I’ve none of the Irish blood. But it is just some of the best on the planet I believe. This piece, however, has taken the genre to celestial spheres beyond reckoning. Love, love, love it!
Yes!! If you love Irish music, then look up The Nesbitt Family Devil's Bit Sessions. They play The Glen Road to Carrick on it, and it features world renowned fiddle and violin player Mairead Nesbitt of Celtic Woman, Lord of the Dance, and Rocktopia Fame, (Mairead is the one with the long blonde hair) along with her awesome family. It is some of my favorite music ever. Please look it up!!
As a Highland Scot...with an Irish Mother...I can tell you that this excellent music and performance fair makes my heart sing...LOUDLY. This a wonderful set...played exquisitely...and I am now off to get ''Notes After Dark'' and more info on this excellend band. Their smiles are radiating over Scotland as I type this. Thanks and love to you all ''FullSet''
As a final note of praise, I would point to the high energy, and the obvious joy that these "kids" bring to the music. One of my goals is to instill the love of Celtic music into my grandkids. They are much more likely to fall in love with groups like FullSet, than, say, The Chieftains, who I love, or The Tannahill Weavers, who I also love. Young people are attracted to other young people, and, unfortunately, they are often repelled by old people. This is neither good, nor bad, it's just the way things are.
After 30 years of seeking out fabulous Celtic Music, FullSet is my new favorite. They are young, attractive and high-energy. They bring a passion and an excitement that will help spread the love of Celtic to new generations and to new parts of the world. I just forwarded this video to my family and friends with instructions that they invest 3 minutes for something very special.
+Pat Aherne TWERP stands for Totalitarian Word-Emergency Reactionary Police, a subdivision of the Thought Police -- protecting fragile minds from microaggressions with trigger warnings, i.e., Ageist. Young is better because, by the time my grandkids are old enough to fully appreciate Celtic music, as I do, The Chieftains, The Tannahill Weavers, and Planxty, along with myself, and, hopefully, Mr Aherne, will be long gone. BTW, Mr. Aherne, this is a music video. Did you watch the video? Did you hear the music? Do you have an opinion of the music, or are you just a troll who searches random websites, looking for things to be offended by?

Bruce, I took your comment to mean traditional music presented to the next generation, played by individuals from that generation that truly appreciate, continue to develop and fine new ways to present this great music in a manner that attracts new listeners.
Okay, I surrender. Here I am pushing my luck trying to walk and breathe at the same time and here they are pumping out this music like it ain't nothing but having some fun.
It's now months since Her Majesty has passed away and I still can not believe that she is gone. She was always here for us. Rest in peace with your beloved husband. May God keep us all.
Talk about naturals... the mix of instruments is absolutely stunning, along with the unselfishness of these virtuoso performers. This is probably my favourite of all the many hundreds of Celtic tune sets I've heard, comparing perhaps to the best of Planxty.
Really enjoyed this. A really talented group of people. My toes were tapping along with it. I saw Uillean Pipes as well. Made my afternoon seeing it. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent.
I'd never heard of this band until they appeared as a RUclips recommendation. Why not, I wonder? To an Englishman like me, the innate skill and energy of Irish folk bands never ceases to amaze, and this lot are full members of a glorious tradition.
Thank you so much for your ART! I live in Illinois, a far way from the Home of My Heart. You give me Home though I'll never see it, 'cept for in my heart and when I die. For surely God is IRISH. He keeps saving me😁
Ah brilliant my new favourite tune of the month! Loved the atmosphere you all create with the smiles and looks all bouncing off each other adds a great element to your music !
Fantastic - an outstanding performance featuring top notch musicianship. Love it - can't for the life of me understand why anyone would give this a thumbs down!
I can never understand why someone would dislike music. If it isn't to your taste, that doesn't mean that it isn't great and won't bring joy to those who like it. Just move on until you find what brings you happiness.
I love Irish music. 💚💚 Listening from Sri Lanka.

So you listen to Irish music every four years. Fair play to you.
@@waynephillips1538 Ha ha ha! I have listened to plenty of music since the last viewing of this clip!👍
I do think these girls/guys are genuinely enjoying themselves. Having the craic. That's what Irish music is all about.
I LOVE the tone of that button accordion! And the way it's played, of course. Sharing with all my Irish relatives.
This qualifies as a definition for the phrase " A good time was had by all".
I love irish music!!! Bonds between the people of Ireland and Greece go beyond time!!!
How can you not LOVE Irish music? Fantastic! Bravo!!!

Gaelic or Irish traditional, not Celtic music......
I agree. It's just a natural part of the cycle of life.
Oh Those triplets from the piper on the second reel. 👍👍👍👍.
