Bought one of your albums in a store in Dublin "blindly" when I visited Ireland - the very first and only country I was instantly in love with. And so is your music. I listen to it and I am back in 2019 when I drove across the country with my mother to listen to traditional irish music. Hope I will be back once... Thank you so much for your music.
Wow, only 23 comments .... It's quite a shame that this masterpiece has not gotten more attention. I have been absolutely moved by this song. Your rendition of it brings me to tears. I can feel the sadness of the story in your voice. I came upon this song upon the realization of my lineage to Margaret Ogilvy whom I must assume lived in the house. She died only 31 years before this house was burned.
Heart-warming to see and hear them! Beautiful Group, lovely vocal, and wonderful interaction! Such enthusiasm, could go on and on listening to them. Thanks!

I so love reading the happy joyous comments bout your music! Thank you so much for your help with our lives. We are lifted up to remember that life is more than the work, or drive to, or bills, it a missed opportunity. Life is the beauty of her voice, the beauty of Ireland, the knowledge that there's always a next dance to your music 😂
I just saw these folks perform in Tucson. Such a talented group! This was the best Celtic group I've seen/heard in many years, hands down! Not only are they amazing musicians, but their enthusiasm and friendly, engaging style make for a brilliant and unforgettable connection with the audience.
you all prolly dont give a shit but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb lost the account password. I would love any tips you can give me!
@Davion Kye Thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Having seen them in person several times in Rochester, I will say that this video conveys a great deal of the energy and professionalism of the group as well as attending to the creativity and performance of the musicians as individuals. I look forward to being able to see them again in concert.
Saw you all at a number of concerts in America, starting with the CoolDog concert in 2015 in Delaware with Paul & Trini, then a few concerts in Pennsylvania including one the day after I returned from Ireland. Wish you all would perform at The Maryland Irish Festival in Timonium in November of any future year.
I really hope you guys decide to come back to Alpena it was an amazing and unforgettable experience your music has cery much influenced my own singing and music style

naugadanedhel The song is in the key of A. I'm not an expert whistle player, but my D, C whistles didn't have all the notes. Don't know if you can get whistles in the key of A? I guess you can. Hope I don't get flamed by all the expert whistle players.
naugadanedhel I'd recommend a low d whistle. The instrumentals in this tune are awesome but easy to learn. I played it on the low whistle after listening to it just a couple of times.
Yes, I Love this. She has a great voice. Bin sehr kritisch mit Frauenstimmen, sind für meine Ohren oft zu hoch und zu quietschig, die aber macht das viel viel besser

Thank you so much! I was reading Charlotte Brontë’s biography and it mentions this song; so glad I was able to experience it.
Actually got to see her sing in a little bar one night in Dingle Ireland while on vacation was absolutely amazing. She has a beautiful voice.

@@danielhansen1266 Correct, and Charlie being in this case Charles 1st, not his grandson as everyone thinks.
Сквозь кельтский мотив сочится кантри, это прекрасное сочетание!
Wow, first Cyrillic I saw written about the Irish
Ik vind de Rythmus geweldigste
This band are excellent, would love for them to play some of silly wizards stuff.

A beautiful song made even more tragic knowing there was no revenge or restitution for House Ogilvey after the attack by clan Campbell
if I would like to play along to this with a whistle, what kind of whistle would I need (key) ?? :)
