I'm not one of those people, but I do see how an overabundance of hippies could potentially lead to a bad situation. For example, everyone knows about the great summer of love, but not too many people talk about the years that followed and how the streets of San Francisco were flooded with hundreds of teen runaways who ultimately became vagrant drug addicts often resorting to thievery or prostitution to support their habits. Trust me, I have met plenty of hippies who were very unkind, but I've also met hippies that have become some of my best friends. I'd also like to add that this band isn't bad at all... you know... for a bunch of hippies! LOL, all in good fun!

I've been practicing Silat and Escrima since 1993 and Taiji, Bagua and Xingyi since 2008. I like practicing slow twisting and circling steps with blades. It nourishes my brain and I circulate my chi to stay healthy and massage my internal organs to stay soft and limber. The first thing I would teach someone is how to relax and root and circulate Qi. After relaxing, someone can learn basic Gong Fu! I'm staying up all night Fasting and drinking Korean Red Ginseng Extract in Water. I like to listen to music and write poetry. I love Grateful Dead. My Father was a famous musician and I grew up in a party house in the Hollywood Hills.
Just found this as I prepare to facilitate an event about Igniting the Wild Medicine Mother Within. So glad the universe is sharing beautiful music before
This is original, beautiful, and inspiring. Very well done, and as an herbalist, I feel happy that the art is represented so well in song. Thank you for the tribute. I will share this with all my friends into herbal medicine!
I'd love to learn about herbal medicine. I have been reading a few books and old botany texts that remember old uses, but I would love to be thought the art.
This song is anointed by the Divine 💛 i call to my angels to help me find my calling My brothers and sisters that are on the path of Ancient....you are not alone ❤
I was recently diagnosed with a chronic condition and this song is getting me through my massive medical problems. Thank you for giving me and my team a fight song.
I've been trusting and weilding divinity for years, but today is the first I've heard this song. My guides always show me exactly what I need, when I need it. Namaste, hope you find peace.
✴I've only known Rising Appalachia for 4 days ( YT, Live from Preservation Hall) and yet I feel like they've been with me all my life. This music, these voices and these movements of the bodies are balm for my soul. Thank you.✳💐🌸🏵🌹🌺🌻
I know most people here are probably more conservative and religious but I grew up with this song and hearing it again, It makes me feel a lot about our current political landscape. Rushing is violence, and so is your silence when it’s rooted in compliance. Never let the government and media silence us, and justice for all those who lost their lives to police violence.
Upon reflection, I embrace your interpretation of Appalachian music, and I stan it because it elevates the Appalachian people. A blessed Lenten season to you.
Being from the Appalachia area isn't enough, huh ? "We ARE Hip-Hop" - KRS ONE. Accept what is instead of seeing if it fits your ignorant assumptions. Learn instead of attack from your limited knowledge

Hello, Tobey! How are you doing? Greetings from Preston, I hope you are fine and staying safe. Where are you from? I hope you don't mind me asking. I think the lyrics of the song and the sound is great.
“ I know your face and I trust your hands.” And that’s more than I can say about many, many others. Love your music. Love your soul. Bless, Sea Stars, bless.
Im from sw atlanta... the streetz!! All i listen to is rap old and new......... This right here is life changing, especially being hatian/Jamaican ive always been rooted this is soulful music here especially fly away and occupy.. how can i download their music
Victoria Hardin And herein lies the problem. ALL music is created with the expectation of not being loved but being respected that is someone’s gift to the world and it’s to be respected. If rap doesn’t move YOU, that’s all well and good. But if your third eye is TRULY open you would realize that there are impacting messages in rap just as there are impacting messages in this song. Take time. Learn from someone else and what THEY’RE into. THAT’S what it means to be cultured. Peace love and light.
Chef Dolie of Dolie’s Vegan Cuisine at the Sugrbox My comment really wasn’t accurate, especially considering how I really feel. Let me break down what I was thinking when I wrote that... The majority of the rap people hear on the radio is pretty much about violence and using people. Bitches, hoes, drivebys, drugs, etc. Sure they have great beats, but overall it’s there to dumb down the population. What I consider to be inspirational rap are groups like A Tribe Called Quest, Tupac, Outkast, De La Soul, and the Fugees (which I grew up listening to). But they aren’t really on mainstream radio anymore (at least not in the south where I live). And most kids are listening to radio. A lot of the rap the industry pushes out now is degrading as hell and a far cry from its predecessors, in my opinion. You’re right, dismissing an entire music genre is closed-minded, and I really didn’t mean that. I just look at which artists are in the spotlight now, and it’s sad. I hear what my teenage son’s peers listen to, and it’s crap.
Victoria Hardin There were songs our parents thought were crap too. When Led said “baby let me squeeze your lemon..” do you think parents didn’t think it was crap. And that’s a classic!! Sexual healing I almost got a beat down for from my pops. And who can forget Clarence Carter “I be stroking??” Inside my love...do I need to go on?? NWA (who I love) sang about violence and killing police. Yea parents loved that. I mean I could sit here FOREVER with titles from EVERY GENRE. Be open minded. Be like Ellen (Degeneres). Find something in ALL music. Perhaps one day your angry and u want to hear a song about beating someone’s a$$. Lol Maybe you’re hot for your wife/hubby and u want to listen to that slutty sexy rap saying “B*tch s*ck my d*ck!! on the way home and he/she’s waiting and the kids r not home. Man music is about self expression. If the song is about b*tches that’s bcuz well he or she has had a few. If it’s about drugs, they’ve done and have family still doing em or selling them. How can u discount someone’s experience. Stop with the stereotypes. Not everyone who listens to violence and sex in music be it rap, or r and b or pop and jazz or hell classical even, are going to act on what they here. It’s about a mood. A feeling. It invokes maybe a memory. Maybe u got fired and want to scream. Years ago in college that why I listened to bands like Sepultura and Gwar so...listen music is for a feeling a mood...go with it my friend. Open ur mind and learn about someone else’s experience and find out why they r so passionate about what they’re saying. Perhaps they came up dirt poor so to sing about a bling watch or car or sexy chicks was unattainable to them before. Live life with understanding always and that’s how as a people we learn to love and respect things people places and experiences that are unlike our own. Again, be like Ellen. Vibe and enjoy all music. Think differently one day and try to listen. You’ll thank me later and your son will bond with u even more and think he has the coolest parent ever!! Godspeed and much love and light.
I grew up listening to songs with horrendous 'messages'. Repeating them over and over like they were a 'negative' mantra. Once i discovered Rising Appalachia and 432hz etcetc i bought all of their music on CD and from Amazon. We should support them and others like them all that we can. I see it as giving back and my small way of assisting them in getting these beautiful messages to more of our brothers and sisters on our huge circular Home. Bless.

Praising “medicine (wo)men” while it is your own (praiseworthy) body that does the healing, the “medicine (wo)men” takes the credit. Smooth..
I love seeing my hometown in such a blessed light! Daowga so powerful!
I was just listening for about the 111th time and when the spontaneous ecstatic dance took over, i set my phone down... the video was inverted bc screen didn't flip. ...the seeds were floating upward into her hands ...other images with shifted perspective were nice too!! 🙌💫💚🙏🏼
Thank you sooo much beautiful sisters. We are healing. Namaste.
Hi there? Hope you’re fine and staying safe???
We loose everything that is not helping us to ascend now. Don't be afraid and yes, this kind of music helps all of us. We will even leave our old me's behind and become butterflies now. Isn't that just amazing....
Healing vibes for these troubled times that still hold many blessings. Love n Light to your fam, all who contribute to these magical, mystical sounds :)
With all of the instigated separation, there NEEDS to be more music like this, to bring us back into balance.

God bless you, thank you for this beautiful music and thank God for all of creation and its abundant healing and blessings. What a gift. But do not be deceived. It was written even thousands of years ago. "So they worshipped the things God made but not the Creator himself, who is to be praised forever. Amen.” (Romans 1:25, 26 NLT).
How has no one done a proper tutorial yet for this amazing song? Thank you, ladies, my kids and I love this song so much.

Grand appreciation to my Rainbow Warrior sisters and brothers here.
Thank you Sisters. You have touched my soul and changed my life. I don't know if you will ever even read this, but I hope that you do. You've saved my life, my family, and rekindled the fire and passion for healing within the hearts of both my daughters and I. Though we still are in the midst of our greatest trial here on here, thanks to your music and words of encouragement and inspiration, we can hold our heads high while the crowd throws its sticks and stones. I know that I am meant to be here right where I am. I know that my life is not going to be in vain. The world needs medicine. That is what I will bring. The earth is my home and its children are my brothers and sisters. I love every single rock, creature, man, women, and child. No one is above or beneath me. I am here to heal them all, all that come to me, they shall recieve.
Wise men say that rushing is violence
And so is your silence when it's rooted in compliance
To stand firm in loving defiance, make art your alliance
Give voice to the fire
Move people to the beat of the wind
Gather yourself and begin, to dance the song until it ends
We are winners, champions of the light
Forming in numbers and might, keep the truth close in sight
Medicine Woman, Medicine Man
Walking with grace, I know your face, and I trust your hands
Medicine Woman, Medicine Man
Walking with grace, I know your face, and I trust your hands
Find your teachers in the voice of the forests
Unplug you can't ignore this, wisdom of the voiceless
Remedies are bountiful and surround us
From the garden to the farthest, prayers made of star dust
Find your healing in the music that calls you
The voice that enthralls you, what do you belong to?
Eyes out! There's the setting of the sun
Give thanks to each and everyone
The lesson is the Medicine Woman, Medicine Man
Walking with grace I know your face, and I trust your hands
Medicine Woman, Medicine Man
Walking with grace, I know your face, and I trust your hands
I believe in bending backwards and extending
My traps trip back until the message is in action
The yard is feeding, stop stark the disbelieving
'Cause the garden holds the shards, the medicine is in the seeds when
We hold tight to our right to protect and
We know our might is ten fold in connection
Our elders hold them bright lights, we protect them
The medicine is evident: the wolf, the hawk, the bear clan
We hold tight to our right to protect and
We know our might is ten fold in connection
Our elders hold them bright lights, we protect them
The medicine is evident: the wolf, the hawk, the bear clan
Medicine Woman, Medicine Man
Walking with grace, I know your face, and I trust your hands
Medicine Woman, Medicine Man
Walking with grace, I know your face, and I trust your hands

The universe has brought this song to me today, of all days, for we all live with a divine purpose inside of us. 💛
I've been trusting and weilding divinity for years, but today is the first I've heard this song. My guides always show me exactly what I need, when I need it. Namaste, hope you find peace.
All peoples everywhere connected in every land can relate to this song!
I also came back to this song and this line stood out to me too! 💭
I hold no religion and just wanna love and be loved! Namaste!

Im from sw atlanta... the streetz!! All i listen to is rap old and new.........
This right here is life changing, especially being hatian/Jamaican ive always been rooted this is soulful music here especially fly away and occupy.. how can i download their music
Gran Magnate This is soooo much better for your soul than most rap. Rap is to brainwash you, true soulful music will set you free! Namaste 🙏
Bless.
