In my 56 years as a musician of various styles, I have never enjoyed a piece of music more than the one I just heard. Beside the talent and the understated joy, there was a perfect balance throughout the song.

Found it -the 3rd reel is "Moll An Tiarna", the whole set of reels is the first track on one of the band's CDs, which I'm off to purchase.

Great playing - a real treat to find on St.Patrick's Day. The 1st is "The Oaktree", the 2nd "The Laurel Tree", but I can't recall the name of the 3rd reel, although I have heard it. Anyone ?

It would be if they were Irish
Not a guitarist, but I do know that many trad guitarists tune to DADGAD and a few other weird tunings. Best bet may be to follow the bass note of each chord and go from there.
