Marvellous, go on, an come back to Brittany, please.
Saw FourWinds at the Auckland Folk Festival in January 2017, bought the CD and played it almost non-stop whilst driving around New Zealand for the next month. It was the only CD I had so it was always on in the hired car. My wife and niece weren't quite so appreciative towards the end of the holiday. The CD now lives in my car in the UK and is regularly played.
I've never been to Ireland but when I hear this music I feel strangley at home. Kinda like I've been home sick my whole life, and this warms me somehow.
I am toned deaf but I can tell you that this is a most stunning and brilliant tune, You ask me How do I know when I can not hear music, that is simple all that I have to do is use my eyes and i can see and feel the movement of that most excellent player and that is all that I need to get to understand this music
Tone Deaf doesn't mean you can't hear music 😂 It means you have excessive trouble maintaining a consistent pitch while singing or playing an instrument.
Brings back memories of jam sessions I had with a bunch of guys in Oman we had a real variety of instruments including a T chest bass & Highland pipes as well as the Uilleann pipes
