The second throw of this video, by Ramon Laureano is the greatest throw of all time. The distance and accuracy of the throw is mind blowing. Over 300 feet on the fly and the first baseman catches it like it was thrown from the shortstop hole. Incredible.
The one from Mookie from the warning track in deep right field to 3rd in the air was insane too

I do so love outfield artillery. There's just something about the long throws from the deep outfield that I have always admired.

It's super annoying how the camera cuts to the runner right as they are making the throw.
I do believe baseball on TV does need some rework on how they present it. I do not need to ever see someone easily trotting home. It's why seeing baseball live is also so good. You see all the moving parts and the game just seems all that much more visceral.

Acuña doesn't get enough love for his arm
He does not it’s insane
He was clocked at 100mph from the outfield in 2020 and just under 95mph before the torn ACL in 2021. Acuña can throw missiles and you’re right, his arm flies under the radar by far.

depends on where you’re at on the field and how much the runner has you beat by in terms of how close they already are to the base but if i were a catcher i would want it right in my glove lol
