I have never been more impressed in my life by any display. It has to be the best representation of the flight deck of the jupiter 2 that I have ever seen that was ever built. Wow!!!!!

The creativity, down to the diorama outside the ship (exemplified by the "Cosmic Storm" sequence) blew my mind! Watching it made my day!

    Hey Bill,
Outstanding... Now I don't feel like I'm the only one who wanted to build a stateroom and lower view port in my basement...along with a glide tube to get there. You really got me thinking... Your detail work is quite impressive. Well done.

Can't say enough. Amazing job. You only need a robot B9 on board and a freezing tube, but I realize there's a limit. Anyway, thanks for sharing your creation.

@rbkrutz I have had a few die hard prop fans visit including the videographer who made this movie. He made it seem bigger than it really is, so some might be disappointed expecting something like the original set.

You gotta turn this into a tourist attraction and let other LIS fans come and tour the real life Jupiter 2 you've constructed. You could make a fortune and fund future LIS projects with the money.

I like your Dr Smith-like idea for making a fortune, however I just built it for fun as a hobby, and
I still continue build other Lost In Space replica props for my basement "museum".
I have had a half dozen diehard prop fans visit, so I've probably already peaked on the number of possible visitors. LOL

At one time in the planning I tried to find a place to build a narrower one, but I gave up on that to instead include a small representation of the galley. The Robinsons did spend more time there than at the astrogator

_Lost in Space_ was so incredibly stupid that I can't see why _anyone_ would waste two brain cells obsessing about that show. Sorry.
Edit: BTW, anyone ever figure out what happened to the family of the Jupiter 1?
