7:38 Dana, that plug on the passenger side is a dead end plug/grounding block and or power back to certain accessories it should have a flat/blank connector plugged into it, you can junkyard pick that thing from any 92-95 and that’ll be it - it should be 14 pin
Bro i have an eg and im thinking about kswapping this new series is going to help a ton. Been watching for a long time keep up the inspiring work bro much love
If that's a JDM harness that mystery plug might be for the City Lights , I know my EG had one or if it's USDM could be for fog lights, just a guess, being next to a fan plug I believe the ac line had a plug on it too, again just throwing a few hunches...
Hey man love your content, love how you grind Honda projects out. I’m currently working on a civic coupe and man seeing you makes me want to finish mine!!!! Keep up the great work. I hate watching those high end projects with thousands of dollar involved and they make it seem like everyone can afford it.
Same reason I watch his videos too! Nothing better than seeing some insane builds that if you learn and put work in you can achieve with a somewhat realistic budget in mind! I don't know anyone that makes every dollar go as far as YoungStatic.
Nothing wrong with rattle cans as long as they are good quality. The main issue with the cheap cans is the spray pattern is inconsistent, nozzles are junk not giving a nice wide fan pattern especially not spitting.
Depin the door speaker wires ... cut a slit on that rubber grommet for the door and slide the light harness. Use some 3M trim sealant or similar rubber sealant to seal up the boot and it will be weather proof and look factory ..if you didn't what to look for anyways ... ;) About your soldering the wires together, if you can get some crimp on splices, the wiring will be more reliable and less prone to problems down the road because of corrosion and vibration. I have soldered the same type of wiring before and vibration from regular driving caused it to fail after a couple of years. Not all the wiring I did have failure but crimped splices are definitely affordable now and will give you a better quality than soldering plus you won't burn your fingers! ;)
@@eshayz if you look up the specs on the crimps.. the strength at the crimps is stronger than the wire itself. Meaning if you pulled the wire, the wire would break before the connection at the crimped splice. The other added benefit is the multiple strands of copper keep there flexibility up to the crimp, so if you place heat shrink over a crimped splice and flex the wires at the crimp. It would take thousands of bends if not more to fail versus a soldered bare copper wire will fail at the solder because if you have ever tried bending a soldered connection it cracks and breaks very easily.
Hey man I’ve got a question I’m a bit a nub in this firts time trying to do so me question is if me harness bad and I buy a ticket harness is it covering everything you just did or I whil need to get into the same proses I’m just wondering before taking me engine apart de car 🤘
I understand every word you say. Like arsenal can. Instant. So, probably don’t speak for everyone but, the music is really annoying. I much rather hear you talking than the music. Anyhoo. Great video. Thank you !!
Yo Dana you got someone trying to scam people using telegram. Someone sent me a message trying to say its you telling me to contact them so they can give me something. Wish I could have told them I have a fat $ick to suck hahahaah. Love the videos bro!
Did many wire tucks without having to cut/extend wires. De-pin the wires and go inside the frame well. Put the wire connectors back on and your good
Black with green d. Side front is for rear Wiper washer. ✌️
That plug is for the ac harness and the rely for the ac fan it's a separate harness hope that helps brother
Dam telagram scams at it again everytime I comment
Do eg got water tank for windshield can that be wire ?

The front left black with green wire goes to the windshield washer. The 8 pin socket on the right side is for the A/C. Compressor and fan.
Maybe the green and black wires on the driver side are for the washer pump.
I ain’t gonna lie….. static never upsets!
Like always another bomb video. You've got some patients man, great work!
Bro i have an eg and im thinking about kswapping this new series is going to help a ton. Been watching for a long time keep up the inspiring work bro much love

On your next project, I gotta EJ8. I'll come to you on your next swap for some content. My D16y8 seems sluggish and slow
Gotta say man that freshly painted engine bay is mint, especially for using rattle cans!!!

I would have thought crimped connectors would vibrate out of place rather than a proper solder job, twist, solder, heat shrink?

@@Juhsga you do make a good point, any recommendations on types of connectors?
after 3 years owning a eg hatch I found a cargo cover in mint condition... traded a $40 clean hood from the junk yard
Those two wires on the driver side could be for the washer fluid tank, or an a/c component
