    Tip on depinning push the wire in, unlock then pull it this method always works for me.

    Top tip, when you solder, heat the wire with the iron from underneath and feed the solder in from the top in to the wire, you shouldn't cover your iron in solder. Flux paste on the wires also for a top job.

      Thank you! Its coming along slowly. Usually by now i would have a engine in but this month has been horrible on income.. We will pick back up soon and be pumping them videos out daily eventually.

    If your not adding heat shrink wrap on the cables u should cut your positive connection slightly off from others incase tape peals or shifts with weather

    I liked the video, but from what ive seen professional race cars do, is that they simplify the harness as much as possible, and make it as easy as possible to remove, that way during a race, if theres a small fire, or fender bender they can swap the harness in under 5 minutes to keep racing

    De-pin the wires would have been much better. As for your soldering skills...FAIL. We all know you need to cover the connections with heatshrink tubing instead of just electrical tape. At least use a rubber grommet

      why hondas get a bad name because people want to cut wiring harnesses and electrical tape them together and cheap out on everything

      Heat shrink is just for a cleaner look. Unless it has the adhesive to make the connection water proof heat shrink will offer no extra benefit compared to e tape besides aesthetics. And we know 90% of enthusiast are gonna save money and purchase regular heat shrink

    The wire tuck routing was really cool but please learn how to solder before you cut the harnesses. You never cut a harness like that. Cut the wires at different lengths so they are not in one huge ball.

      Jo A Inactually did on my other channel I used a hole saw an drilled the hole through and ran all the wires through it with a grommet but seeing is how I am literally the biggest budget baller ever I’m broke as hell from paying for a house to live in and food on the table for my family so that was a expense I didn’t have money for at all.

    You need to improve your soldering skills. Overlap the wires, one over another and then solder. Cover with heatshrink tubing and then electrical tape/wire loom.

      Eric Xiong i have never had a issue with them holding and i have cars 5+ yrs on the road still using this method. Thanks for the tips though. Some times I do them like = then twist around

      Cooterbaby when you suck at the depin method and always screw it up then yes lol I prefer cut and solder method 🤷🏻‍♂️ you do it your way I’ll do it my way. If your good at the depin route then more power to ya.

    Cringe at the re wiring. This is how cwr fires start. Not a safe method at all. It would be better to use de pin . Or use a new connector block if you have to cut the wires.

      Eric Xiong if your careful electrical tape is meant for the same purpose that’s why it’s “electrical tape” just buy decent tape most of the wires he’s tucking will never have to be exposed or moved again

      @@evanknight3629 at least it's body on frame with a huge engine bay so might be easy. I would say a the hoses would be more difficult to route since it has a oil cooler a Trans cooler & a tone of value lines
