Dang bro!!! I’ve got the exact same set up but a ep3 type r k20a and box too(lsd) did my mounts last weekend and slowing getting there weekend by weekend. Amazed at your knowledge and how fast you can get it done by your self!! Legit inspiring me with this blueberry build. Wish you had done a mount episode like 1-2 weeks ago your explanation and detailed lay out of bolts and what goes where is no where to be found on RUclips. Keep it up my man m. Love from Australia. Dude that thing looks gooooooooodddddd! I have a 94 Del Sol I'd love to K swap one day. Right now it's my daily and when my oldest step son gets his license in a month or so it's gonna be his.
The gearbox top bolt is threaded as some imperial thread. I took mine to my local bolt place and they supplied the right bolt. So weird they keep doing it on all the copy ones. I also switched over my bushings on my ebay ones for hasport 62a ones and they are so much more compliant. As you say for $120 how could you go wrong!
currently installing this same kit. It has the same issue where the rear bracket has the wrong thread. Kinda weird lol. Like some designer wasn't paying attention and set it off for a production run of who knows how many. not bad for the price, actually the mounts themselves look nice. Got to cut up and weld my rear bracket, didn't know beforehand that the later model transmission don't have mounting bosses at the diff. Otherwise it all bolts up. Funny thing about the kit is some bolts are labled 8.8 grade, and some have no markings, aka no grade. Let's assume, the bolts could break. Honestly, got to shout out to Hasport on this kit. The kit is CLEARLY a Hasport knockoff. Pretty much exactly the same minus some quality.

Hahaha, I just watched a video from Hasport where they are doing a K into a eg. They said to leave the rear mount loose until the engine is in. You, at 6:50, "Hnnnnnn! That's tight!" :)

Pretty sure when we did my kswap eg it was common practice to step drill the top holes and weld two crush tubes into that rail 🤷

Guess what, did you know the ek k swap right hand frame bracket and the eg k swap LH trans bracket work in an Ek L15b7 swap with a stock subframe lol

Hey bro! I just bought the same mounts and I am wondering did you have to clearance the hood at all? It’s a k24a2 with a z3 head and my hood is hitting the brake booster nipple on the intake manifold. It’s a RBC mani also! The chassis is a 93 eh3
Dana, look into 18650 batteries for those flashlights. I uses a 4-channel battery charger and keep alot of batteries charged and rotate them out as needed.

Having these mounts. How much does it change every day driving. Does it shake crazy on idle? I’ve always wondered no one talks about it so is why I haven’t done it to any of my cars.
