The right way to bleed the coolant system on a K is with a coolant vacuum purge and refill kit. First attach the kit to the radiator and it sucks all the air out of the system. Then 3-4 gallons of coolant in a bucket w/the vacuum refill hose in it. Turn the valve and it will suck up all the coolant from the bucket, done.
Redhawk0117 I asked a couple swap axels vendors and they said only rsx type s intermediate shaft will work ... which sucks for me cuz I bought a manual tsx one

I have a jdm b16a and due to new emissions rules in my county it won’t pass an emissions test due to it being obd1, rather than convert it to obd2 I would rather just put a newer motor in. So I decided to sell the b16a and use the money towards the swap. Thanks for making this video man!

P codes: P2646 rocker arm actuator control system performance/ stuck on (Bank1) Pending Then one other: 61-1 battery voltage malfunction Current So I reset all codes, cleaned both battery terminals put it back on the interstate and no problems as of yet but I wanted to bounce back to the one and only code that I got, the p2646 . What could be the culprit there?

Would the hybrid racing PS conversion kit work with DC5 tuck & KTuned EP3 Pulley?
i dont know much about engine swaps and this may be a stupid question. here it goes if i wanted to put a k24a2 into a ef 1988 civic thats carbureted not fuel injection does that complicate the wiring harness? since im removing the engine i would assume not but when it comes to wiring i have no idea if the ef civic being carbed will affect anything. please feel free to explain yourself on every lil detail. ( i have no idea what im talking about or doing i just know i have a strong urge to put a k24a2 into my lil civic :)

@13 HSG 13 Took me yeah half to get parts for my k-swap. 96 teg k20a2 5 speed. just got some stuff to tidy up but it runs and stuff I need a Type R Front end and I want get some ARC goods
@@divindeep you want it to be like 190 normal temps. I used a Koyo K swap radiator some ktuned hoses and I have swivel thermostat housing. I wouldn't be too concerned if it hit 205, but I would start worrying if it was getting in the 2-teens or 220. My biggest issue was bleeding the system trying to get air out took a little bit.
Seems like it's really expensive..I wanted to convert my cg6 but now I'm thinking H series as parts and swap may just be cheaper ..not sure as it may now be harder to find and I want more top speed
My next car will no longer be a new car. I am tired of all the tech and want the reliability that a k swap will offer. Basically building a civic from the ground up with mostly oem pieces. My biggest concern is not all the parts and aftermarket pieces I will need as those are everywhere. My concern is buying a engine and trans from some where I can trust. :( I am not in any kind of car group and do not know of any local shops around other than 1 that do this type of work. But kswap is in my future !

Do you happen to know if for example a K-24 automatic into a Civic EG would be possible at all? if not, a k20? Or would automatic just not work at all? If you happen to have some knowledge, information, or links on the subject, would be highly appreciated!

Big ass noob The civic I'm buying is an automatic I want a standard but I can't find one forsale within 400 miles of me. Is this going to be a big problem with anything? It's 1990 civic almost everything is stock rn and it has close to 300,000 miles on it I'm buying it for 200$ figured this would be a perfect way to learn a thing or too about cars low risk and low cost becuse I have 2 main vehicles anyways. I would love to have a K24Z3 with a turbo in my caged RX8 track toy. Collins happens to make an adapter but the issue would be keeping CAN conversion for the RX8 body module.

So when you're getting a transmission it has to be a manual transmission when you're k swapping?? Cause my car is an automatic.
What about K20A and K20A3 can those be used with the PRC instead of the K20A2?
