Ff8 and 13 will always be my favorites. Love Squall and lightning
Amazing guide. Deserves more views
Crazy how people are still using this a year ago I remember figuring out I could put magic on my weapon, game became easy af lol
Only make draw before ifrit fight, convert to magic nivel 2 with quezacotl skill..and junctions then...the game will be easy...make the same to magic nivel 3 as soon as possible....
I like your videos bro
Nice guide..goodjob!
They really should nerf the cards system and its refinements. It really breaks the game for being too darn easy.
No it doesn’t
@@michaelmiller4105 Well, this video shows exactly how to break the game with cards refinement. There's no challenge in battle with this super powerful items via cards refinement.
@@HaqiKusanagi it’s not breaking the game, it’s part of the game mechanics. You don’t have to play. See how that works. No need to nerf something that is optional.
Step 8 was really hard because I don't knoe how to play cards
In FF8 they WANT you to STAY "Low Level" plus that way the game is MORE FUN! The TRICK is to STAY Low Level(I'd say nothing above "Level 10" myself) WAY UNTIL you get the "Ragnarok" and "Cactuar" GF!
Triple Triad, the FF8 card game, is still the most fun side game/sidequest that has ever existed in Final Fantasy (perhaps any game). Just keep at it, and don't let the rules spread all willy nilly. Spread the "all" rule and nothing more. When I play, I play without strat guides, and because of that I forget some things, but you can even play without ever spreading a single rule. But I kick myself when I watch these guides and see people cleverly spreading "all." Cards are basically an unlimited source of resources, and damned if you don't wish you had more of them towards the end of the game if you played with the "single" rule the whole time 😅
Other than that it's kinda hard to explain a good strat for Triple Triad. I developed my own startegy as a kid, and it looks like many others developed a similar one. It must be the logical conclusion people come to after hours and hours and hours of playing it. But my strategy goes like this:
When laying cards early in the match, place them in a way where only their high numbers are exposed. This would mean putting your Ifrit card in the lower right corner, or your Sacred (Brothers GF) card in the upper right corner, for example. This leaves only their 8's and 9's exposed, which should allow the CPU to eventually make a mistake (during its turn) by placing one of its own cards in a manner where its lower numbers are exposed. You can flip these errant cards with one of your other cards still in your deck. Essentially the CPU makes a lot of mistakes when you are playing against the lesser players around the world. Just play it safe like this, and eventually you will build up a deck where you can just steamroll everyone--even the Card Club members. Make sure to always save the game before playing cards though! lol, this strategy isn't fool proof.
Noob
@@MavisRecon Wanna AVOID the "All" trade rule and instead use only "One" OR "Diff". Reason for that is because the "All" trade rule can "transfer into" the "Direct" rule which is really bad. Plus, it's a "nuisance" to eliminate then.
KEEP on the INFINITE HP cheat for the ENTIRE game as well with 9999 HP by disc 1's end only 9999 HP attacks can kill you and really only Tonberry Normal ones/GF boss Ultima/Omega weapon and Jumbo Cactuar use any the rest don't.
