Bit of a letdown after I made it today. Used frozen curry leaves (does it make a difference comparing to fresh?). Reminded me of a vegan dish I had on few occassions (with tofu). But in the end it was a bit of a let down flavour wise. To be clear I'm not here to troll or anything just looking to improve as it does have a hint of quite a pleasant dish. I ended up adding tomatoe paste and it did bring out more flavour, as it doesn't have any distinctive curry or particular spice note. The dish has a very nice heat to it - it's not spicy per say just this gentle, mellow warmth that keeps rising with eash forkfull. Next time I'll make it I will put diced potatoes and chikpeas, the tomatoe paste gave it bit more kick, I was thinking adding chicken but would need some advice on how to enhance the flavour, as you can only put this much tomatoe paste before it turns all tomatoey. Will definitely try other recipes. I would love to have the list of ingredients in the description divided into sections/cooking order. Scrolling through video whilst its short was not the most convinient way of following the recipe while cooking. Thumbs up anyway.
