- In today's video, we're going to install a short-throw shifter in my 1989 Camaro. This COSMO Racing variant comes with a smaller price tag than the popular PRO-5.0, but how does it hold up?

Thanks for posting such an informative video on this shifter! I've been needing one for my turbo 3.8 build. Ive been debating for maybe 3 years on purchasing this over the pro 5.0 (the site looked kinda sketchy hense my hesitation). Glad im in Toronto to save on shipping aswell over hawks. You've sold me on it, I hope Cosmo is giving you a referral bonus for this video! Thanks for rolling the dice on the purchase for all us fbody guys!
Good job!
Thanks!!!
overall i was pretty disappointed by the cosmo after purchasing and using it for about a year
I've only ever seen this on eBay and it's going for $180 plus shipping. It's the only reason I went with the Pro 5.0 shifter for $160 free shipping.
I kinda wishi would've seen this video and it's link before ordering lol. $115 plus roughly $30 to ship would've saved a few dollars. I like the look of this more than the 5.0 shift arm
160 for the pro-5.0 ain't bad! and it at least has the adjustment bolts to prevent over-shifting for the extra money you paid. But yeah, its a pretty unknown shifter, but I'm very happy with it :)
here from third gen! was this a direct fitting t5 short shift? having a hard time finding one.
Yup! It drops right in!
Who's our Canadian supplier?
I ordered direct from COSMO Racing (link in video description)
