An excellent remake that comes at a weird time for a slightly more niche audience. Well worth it as a first experience, a bit less as a second, and from there on.

Buy, wait for a sale, rent, or never touch it. The Patented Karak review system to see if a game is worth a buy upon release or if I recommend waiting. Игры
Definitely looks to be the definitive version of this game, but full price is a lot to ask for a game that was one of the biggest releases of the last decade - most people who have owned a PlayStation since the PS3 have already played this in some way. Not to mention this is technically missing some content since there is no multiplayer. Very excited to play this eventually but it's a really hard sell for $70.
well I've never played it so its something I would be willing to pay 60$ for when it hits PC... but I don't think 70$ for a remaster is fair even if its a good one. Honestly if it was ANY other game 60$ would be a hard sell for a remaster.
There is multiplayer. They're making it a separate game because $$$.
@@alexoelkers2292 If you’ve never played it then it’s well worth the $70 since it’s better than most games out now.
@@alexoelkers2292 it’s not a remaster. It’s a remake. But still they’re asking too much for it.
@@ApocalypticGaming1214 well its arguable if its a remake or a remaster. The developer considers it remake. Personally, I still consider it a remaster, although an extremely top tier remaster that does have improvements that aren't included in many video game remasters.
My biggest reason for waiting for this game is the price. I love Last of Us 1 but to have it 10 more dollars then the original and remaster at launch with mp removed its just an insane price for it
omg $10 🙄
True, not even counting this might join the PS+ catalog later down the line. I played too many times this game (3 on PS3, 2 on PS4) to justify buying it at full price.
@@justincox1685 yeah, $10. Buying the $70 game tells developers that you're okay with that $10 increase, and then another one, and then another one, and then all of a sudden your "it's just $10" turns into games being $120
@@cornprices1718 australia be like
Wait I thought they announced the multiplayer?
This will be really fun to replay….when its on sale for like $30. They should have bundled this with their upcoming multiplayer game or made another story content dlc to make this worthy of being full price. Destroy All Humans 2 at least is $40 and thats a bigger leap in graphical and gameplay quality from its original release than Last of Us is to their original
And you can there's a beautiful remastered 4k 60 fps and is dirt cheap and it is in fact the exact same game
There’s little to no information on the multiplayer.
That's true with adding extra story content. They could've had some backstory about how Tess and Joel met or what happened with Joel and his brother to part ways. That would've made existing fans of the series definitely interested in replaying the game.
If you don't think there's a big difference in TLOU Part 1's graphics compared to the original, watch Digital Foundry's video
Yep. They're taking their cues from Bethesda and Rockstar who have each survived over the last decade with re-releasing the same game over and over.
At least more work has gone into this one than did those unchanged new editions.
Love the last of us so I’m getting this on release day, $70 is a lot though so I don’t blame people waiting for a sale
I will definitely buy it if it is on sale. They did a great job with the visuals but 70 $ it too much especially without the multiplayer (which was pretty underrated in my opinion).
Yo that full mp game Theure making is gonna go so hard…think factions but with loo2 gameplay? Say less
The multiplayer was excellent.
@@douglasdickinson1877 imagine what you could do with a rope like in lo2 ….i hope they add it to multiplayer gameplay
@LuNa_xBeast no it was great! But I respect your opinion. I respect inferior opinions.
@LuNa_xBeast I like ‘Just some guy’ also respect your stupid opinion.
An upgrade for 30-40 USD for owners of the remaster would have been nice (and I wouldn't hesitate to pay it). I don't deny the effort that went into the remake, but it's not nearly as high as creating a game from scratch. With the remaster too fresh in my mind (bought and played it a week before Last of us Part II was released), waiting for a discount (or a very boring gaming month) seems the sound choice.
...
My resistance caved in after watching the full DF video. Here, have my money, Sony. Nevertheless, 79,99€ is objectively a high price tag most aren't willing to pay. On the other hand, most interested customers still don't have a PS5...
Very good point, Toran! Such discounts are well known already and it's sth I was also expecting with this one. A discount for those of us who already own the ps4 remastered version. But as they advertise it as a remake, I guess they managed to quietly get away with charging a fully-extended price for it. Disgusting practices and definitely a terrible time for gaming. This year has been really crappy, gaming wise.
No, buddy. That is using reason & logic to provide a good customer experience, which is unacceptable these days.
Well everyone with ps plus already have remastered version for free lol. Maybe if that wasn't on plus maybe they could consider that option.
A $30-40 upgrade for something you bought 8 years ago? That isn't logical, at all.
40 bucks is definitely alotz they almost literally done nothing but an ok graphics upgrade
So far you're the only channel to have adressed the different feel to the story due to the character model changes, thanks for always adding an exceptional observation to your reviews.
@@BabysitterSky while I don't know what reviews you've watched: No, they haven't talked about it altering the feel of the characters themselves in relation to the plot as a charicature, they've only spoken about the character changes enhancing realism.
@@Yodalemos Point is he is not in fact the only channel/reviewer to address this subject. Just happens that this is the only one you have come across.

@@SSJ2Phenom And Capcom
@@SirBigWater Eh, Capcoms remakes were complete reimaginings with new mechanics, levels, story, and everything. I was hoping that the Last of Us part 1 would be more like that but it's still more of a remake than Skyrim or GTA V has ever been. Plus I haven't played the Last of Us since it was first ported to PS4 in like 2014 so I think I'm in for a treat.
I dont have a console or PC readily available to play this or really any other game on, except when I'm staying at friends houses and stuff like that, but I pretty much always watch these reviews because they are so comprehensive and informative while still being interesting and you can really tell that there is effort put into them and that there's a real passion for gaming here but mostly because you really do care about the consumer, so thank you for these and keep it up!

I played thru the PS3 version twice and the PS4 version once. I really enjoyed my first playthrough. By the third playthrough I was getting super annoyed with the stealth. I agree it's a must play if you haven't played it. Not sure about that price tag either. I think $40-50 makes more sense. I'll maybe try it again when it hits PS+ Extra in a year or so. Hopefully the gameplay is much improved.

Thanks for confirming my feeling which is if you played wait for a good sale. I have had all the versions and I will get this one sometime next year when it's much cheaper.
Short answer - no - wait for sale
I replayed the game just before the sequel came out. After watching your review, I feel no desire to play this game again just yet. Sure it may have been “rebuilt from the ground up” and added some new features, but it’s the same game. Spending $70 dollars for a game that’s really just a prettier version that runs better, I can’t justify that when I can grab my ps4 copy and get almost entirely the same experience. Maybe in a couple years when I want to go back and go through the story again and this remake is a fraction of the cost it is now, I’ll pick it up. Till then, I’m good.
yeah i totally get you. I personally already paid for it because its that special of a game for me, but the $70 price is pretty insane. Id probably wait for a sale if we weren't slogging through the craziest lull in games since the early days of the PS4, especially when you consider how freaking atrociously awful the Saints Row reboot is.
@Khabib Eagle FightsYa know your Mom's going to be pissed when she finds out you've been using her credit card to buy all those lootboxes.
Again, the best and most reasonable review for the game yet.
I’ll get it when it drops to $50.
Wait til ps plus
His review could easily apply to the version you can buy for 5 dollars with multiplayer.
Black Friday Sale!
I was gonna say this is one of the games I want to get a PS5 for but if it's coming to PC then I'll just wait. Always wanted to give this game and its sequel a proper playthrough
The gunplay would feel so much better using a mouse, i think il get this on PC for that alone.
Do not buy the part 2, trust me (even if it comes to PC cheap )
@@spyder_33 this is true! Can’t deny it that.
Just get the remastered version
Yeah wait for PC
Favorite game of all time. $70 REMASTER is a slap in the face. No multiplayer or added gameplay mechanics (prone or dodge, ya know some of the only added gameplay features in the sequel). They only updated the graphics, enemy/buddy AI, and accessibility features. How tf is that worth more than the original game..? This should be a damn $10 upgrade if you already own the ps4 version. It baffles me how fanboys defend everything no matter how stupid
For $70 they could have at least ported over the already existing Factions mode.
It could have helped hype people up for the standalone Factions that coming too. No excuse to leave it out for $70.
This should have been 30$ as a standalone game, 15$ for owners of the remaster and maybe 60$ when bundled with Part 2. 70$ for a decade old game with a fresh coat of paint is ridiculous.
I totally agree with this comment. $10 is what it should be. I’ve already bought this game twice(PS3 & PS4 remaster). I’ve completed this game 4-5 times already also. Naughty Dog needs to just make a new game. This game didn’t need a remaster, the original and PS4 remaster is enough at this point.
@@user-uo8cd6de8d at the very least they could have provided a discount for existing owners like what was done with Dark Souls Remastered.
I would pay $20 for this upgrade, tops.
Also for people who haven't played the game it's also a fucking rip-off. The story is 9 years old ffs, and it's the main focus aspect of this game. Not like casuals care so much about "acCESsiBILITY" and "gameplay" in this damn game that much anyways, if they do, they'd probably have played the remastered version already.
But oh well, the general audience and fanboys are still buying this shit, ND and Sony are gonna make money no matter what.
Thanks for the review, I'll just sticking with the remastered version and yes $70 is insane!
Finally a smart fan who knows how to keep his money for a better game called Metal Hellsinger.
@@TheREALHugo4 😂
@@ryanthomas2432 And yet ND isn't bothered to make a good game since they ended their success with Uncharted 4 (the last good game from the studio).
@@TheREALHugo4 Theyve made 1 game since then, excluding lost legacy. And in terms of tlou2 (im not gonna say its great but it is a decent game with a bad story)
@@TheREALHugo4 they lost it when Bruce Straley left the company.
It’s hard for me to even look at this as a remake. I played TLOU1 on every difficulty and know the game inside and out, and this is so identical to the point of being redundant. You have these 2022 character models doing their 2013 animations which looks goofy to me. There seems to be very little updates to the gameplay whatsoever. The graphics are slightly better but nearly everything else is the same. So much so that the remaster is perfectly serviceable and $70 for this “remake” is criminal
You make a good point. One could say Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is more of a remake. They used the exact same animations and aside from graphics the game itself is more or less identical, but there’s a lot more quality of life features and bug fixes than I think you could argue this new TLOU part 1 has.
finally someone who's not brainwashed 👏👏👏
Thanks for the review. I’m about to boot up my PS3 and play some Last of Us 😃
Nailed it. Even for a newcomer, asking $70 dollars for a game that is almost 10 years old, no matter how many improvements, no matter how good it is, it's definitely too much...
Wow!!! That’s a really concise and honest review, I love your take on the game, calling out the issues such as bugs etc also the price which my opinion is a bit steep. I agree with you as a person that owns the remastered it makes sense to hold off which I will be doing, until it goes on sale.Good job👏👏👏
The end of this review perfectly sums up what I thought since the price was announced for this. Definetly waiting for a price drop on this. Can't justify it after playing every version prior.
This again it is a good game but the price is really for the ones who never play the original on PS3 and the remastered on PS4/Pro. I'm gonna wait for it drop a bit after it releases. Thanks for the review Karak.
The games im copping this year are...
Evil West
Gungrave GORE
A Plague Tale Requiem
God of War Ragnarok
Callisto Protocol
It you’ve never played it, pick up the remaster for 5 dollars. It’s the same experience.

PS4
Having a typo on screen when discussing bugs was an unintentional master piece :P
It was really interesting hearing about how the change in the look of characters affected how the game felt. I really want to play it but will wait for a sale.
The remake is, of course, the definitive version of TLOU overall, but do you think the amount of emotion you feel is equivalent to the remastered? My assumption is that clearer emotions balance out the older-looking characters, I say this because in the video it wasn't quite clear what ACG was implying.
$20 add on with a PS5 version of part 2 is where this would have fit. For new players this is an expensive alternative to the free PS4 version you get automatically on PS5 collection. Returning players should wait for a huge discount PS Plus.
Very much appreciate this review. I did not expect this version to have this level of bugs since all press releases how much work and polish have gone into this version. I played the PS3 version, and the remastered version on PS4, and this one will have to wait for a hefty price drop and some patching, for me to buy it. The gameplay improvements don't seem as big as I hoped for either. So, definitely a wait for deep deep sale for me.
I really liked the characters in this and liked the ever so slightly hopeful story of a broken man and a very hurt young woman. Nevertheless, this is not worth the full price they are asking. Especially since Part II made me resent the franchise quite a bit. They don't have to tell the story I want to hear/play, but I don't have to buy the game I like three times.
Thank you for the review! I miss the usual podcast format quite a bit, but I appreciate why it might not be the right way to go for you.

Yeah I've watched tons of reviews and have not heard anything about bugs or bad textures.
Thank you for all you do in your reviews. Always look forward to hearing your opinions.
I've played the original remastered version on PS4, it is bizarre that they are calling this a remake, while most of the game is same aside from graphics, Mafia DE is a REMAKE, RE2 & 3 is a REMAKE this is just a really good remaster, just like CoD4 or CoD MW2. The only thing that I'm looking for is pc release and even on that I will probably wait for sale, I want to experience it again in high framerate and better aiming with mouse.
theyre calling it a remake because the game was remade from the ground up for ps5 it wasnt just a remaster with small graphical touch ups, its same as RE 2 & 3 those games where remade from the ground up.
Thanks bro. I had already made my mind about buying it. But you are right, I have the remastered already and never really complete everything. So I'll go back to that one instend and save those $70
What’s crazy to me is that this game asks for this price while not including the multiplayer. As good as the story is, I sunk dozens of hours into its amazingly tense and dynamic multiplayer, and would heavily consider the remaster if it included that. Without the multiplayer, this is a pass.
I always find opinions to change all the time. Final Fantasy 7 remake came out and there were so many people mad that it was a brand new game. Completely different. Not just a graphical overhaul. They ruined their nostalgia.
And then last of us decided to not make a whole new game and instead gives you the same game with a graphic overhaul and then people get mad that they didn't make a whole new game haha.
I wonder if there's ever a way to satisfy both sides.
It's not so much that people are mad that it isn't a whole new game it's that they decided to charge so much for a game that's been rereleased so much. Skyrim keeps getting released but Bethesda is smart enough not to charge $70 for it.
@@CQchaos7474 but Skyrim never completely overhauled the graphics and basically, visually, make a whole new game. Even mods that players make didn't do this. So I understand what you're saying but I personally don't think those are equatable situations.
@@Sagasaurus I don't think graphics are nearly as important as having things to do in a game. No matter how much they polish the graphics it's still the same game.
If they remake pacman so you could play it in 4k it still wouldn't be worth $70 regardless of how crisp those pellets look.
Interesting. After watching Digital Foundry's 50 minute analysis, you could be fooled into believing this remake, in its present state, has been polished to perfection. I don't recall them mentioning any issues whatsoever. Whereas ACG has been more balanced, observant and seemingly objective with his findings, mentioning fps drops, low quality textures in places, and a higher bug count.
Is it more balanced or more prejudice. He literally said the remaster looks great when it doesn't in 2022. He also said he didn't have many bugs in the remaster which is a flatout lie.
@@themoviefan9990 Ah spoken like a true mindless fanboy
@@zeroskaterz92 exactly like you can't take this review seriously its too fanboyish for the og and remaster. Everyone knows how insanely buggy the remaster was and how it's graphics pale in comparison to today's graphics.

If you have a PS5, you get the remaster for free. People seem to forget that. I'm definitely getting this, but not for launch price. That isn't a knock on this game, though, because I haven't bought a single PS5 game for launch price (except the $40 Sifu).
Thank you for being a voice of reason. Last of Us was a fantastic game and yes, this makes it look incredible (and being such a good game, it holds up despite its age), but that price is just taking the piss. Excellent sale candidate though.
I didnt play the Last of us untill the last remaster and I loved the story and was what drove me through the game. I don't really care to replay it again as I had such a great time with I don't want to be constantly looking out for the little differences or improvements or things I may feel they could have done better. No Doubt I will play it one day when it's cheap or on PS Plus and i've got space I wont be using...
Cannot wait for this to get on PC. At 10:41 I thought you were Bill's voice and was like he's not talking about a soundtrack 🤣
So a game that was supposedly rebuilt "from the ground up" has the same bugs that the original has, but more... Only reasons to buy this are if you never played it before or are a fool.
"Tess looks like she went through a time machine the wrong way..." 🤣 ... wait, am I looking like that every day? Great review, very much fun and thoroughly entertaining!
Excellent commentary dude. I’ve struggled with whether or not to buy this simply for the upgraded graphics and accessibility options, but I’m just gonna wait on that price to drop. I’ve got the remaster and I’ll just stick with it for now.
Oh snap! i didn't expect this! Thank you for sharing my guy.. I think I'm going to wait. It doesn't do enough to warrant the price. I was hoping for more gameplay enhancements. Ah well. if you haven't played this... go for it. playing as Joel is an experience like none out there. Also... Killed me when you said.. "A dude whose face looks like it never chose the easy way out option in life" LOL... good stuff man.
Will be interesting to see the achievement progress a month from now. I suspect a lot of people who buy this will put a couple of hours in and once sheen of the minor cosmetic upgrades they've made wears off they'll realise they're playing the same game with the same mechanics they've played twice already and drop it.
Like when you fondly remember some series that ran for hundreds of episodes so decide to rewatch it, but then stop after 2 episodes when you realise you know everything that's going to happen which robs it of any tension
Played the OG and the remaster. For $70 and the remake tag, I needed more change, to be in line with P2 gameplay. I understand their choice, but can’t agree with the price as someone who’s played the game already, multiple times.
Probably won’t spend a dime on it. I’ll catch it when it’s included in some PS+ tier, or maybe on sale on PC if they do enough over there

@@SPACECOWBOY705 Yes I played it on the PS3. Skipped the PS4 version and didn’t play Left Behind (which I should have). And from what I see from comparisons and reviews, this remake looks like a legit PS5 game so I know it will be worth my money.
no way in hell I'd ever pay $70 for ANY title, let alone a game that I already have/plays almost identically to this one
Bought this game when it came out for the PS4. Played for a little bit, but put it down. Started about a year later, and had to force my way through some of it. Was a good game, but just felt like it over stayed it's welcome at times, or totally unforgiving at others. I don't see me picking this game up again, but it always takes me back when I see it. However it also makes me remember what happened when I played, and after it was done, it was shelved. Some games do that to me. This was one. Same as the second game. I don't think I will ever touch that one again.
Thank you for the review, I am a Patron, and always look forward to these videos!
Quality review as always 👍🏻 love this game but gonna hold out for it to drop in price. Think it’s quite insulting to charge people full price again when it doesn’t even have multiplayer. Understand they have done massive leaps with the graphics and gameplay…..but still.
I loved this game. I played it on PS3 and PS4 but $70 is way to much for a remake. Maybe $29.99 but that's about it.
I assume you don’t value the amount of work and time that the devs put into the game then. 30 dollars for a game that takes years to make is laughable
@@Unknownburger they have been paid for it sold it on ps3 and ps4 now it comes a cash grab , greed,,,ps you know that the game was released in 2013 ?
@@Unknownburger Just buy the game for 70 then. A lot of people, including myself can wait for a sale.
@@Unknownburger I'd be willing to pay a lot more than $70 for a game if that money was actually going to developers, and not corporate overlords. Sorry dude, no way to disguise it, hide it, or make excuses for it. This is greed, because greed has become the norm for this industry and it's firmly corporate nature at this point.
@@Unknownburger Destroy All Humans 2?
What an awesome review, ACG, pros, cons, and a great discussion of relative value. Fantastic work as always.👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Kick-ass content Brother! Will wait to see if this has a sale, but for sure will buy as I have not played.
ACG, your spontaneity and clever quips always make your videos unique and highly entertaining.
Glad you like them!
The game looks amazing to be fair, all the face animations are going to amp up the emotions we know we're going to feel theoughout the story. It'll be a great replay when it goes on sale or eventually comes to PS Plus.
The absolute audacity of Naughty Dog to sell a 3rd release of the same game (graphical improvements be damned) for a full $70... unbelievable. Please do not support this corporate behavior with your hard earned money.
Took an one-hour-peek into the game last night. Is it a great remake and a huge step-up from the remaster? Absolutely! Is it worth the full premium price tag? More than most titles at this price. The best word to describe the experience (and it is one) is INTENSE. More than the improved visuals, I was struck by the combination with the fantastic 3D sound (wide dynamic) and the best use of the DualSense controller's vibrations in a game - not only for the standard stuff like shots and explosions but more subtle stuff like holstering your weapon, doors being closed or banged on and even distance-related vibrations like the rumbling of a heavy diesel truck.
I wondered, if I missed all that in the remastered version and just reinstalled it. Nope, memory didn't fail me. In direct comparison, the remastered version feels kinda flat and numb? Hard to describe. To get the most ouf of the remake, it's best to play it when there the least distractions from the real world, after midnight. All-in-all I'd say it's a must-have PS5 title, not necessarily a must-have-now.
As a hardcore fan I can’t wait to jump back in! Then maybe do another rerun of Part 2 right after . There’s gonna be some bangers coming out in the next couple months too!
Besides GoW, I got Pokémon and Calisto Protocol on my wishlist! OH and btw Inscyrption is available to download on PS5! Been having a blast lately !!
Reminder that you can be against the price (as well as this new "+10$" standard in general) but still in favor of the remake in general
One of the best games I've ever played, but I'll wait till goes on sale or comes to PC.
The review we've been waiting for!
In the Remaster, there is an enemy character that repeats in two key cutscenes-I believe the Joel drowning in a puddle cutscene and also the one where he pushes Joel over a rail in the university.
Did they fix this-as in, are there more character models, and can you dismember them as much as you could in Part 2?
There are different character models all cutscene fedra or hunters were different models that was something i immediately noticed! so in those two they are different!
@@Demetrix13 thanks for this.
@@winterwolf2164 youre welcome 👍🏼 and you can dismember them as much as you could the gore to me is definitely way brutal than the original
@@Demetrix13 and this just became a more tempting replay for me…
First, absolutely a fantastic game. I have the PS4 Remastered Edition. With that said, i do not and will not pay $70 plus tax for this game. For folks that haven't played it and do not own a copy of the PS4 edition, its probably worth it. I do wish Sony would have thrown peeps that did buy the PS4 Remaster a bone. I get the work involved but for those fans coming back for a second helping of hamburger helper, a price point of 29.99 would have been more reasonable.
$29.99? How did you arrive at the price? Why not $5.99?
In my opinion, this is great for someone with a PS5 who hasn't played TLOU yet. I've got the original on PS3 and Remaster on PS4 so I will politely pass
New PS5 owners with PS+ already have access to TLOU remastered at no extra charge. This is only great for PC players
Here it is, been waiting all day for this one 👌🏻
i was such a big fan of the original and remaster that I might pick this one up but on sale. tlou part 1 is one of my favorite games of all time; I've played it about 5 times through. maybe I have to get this just to complete the collection!
I feel like most of this $70 price tag is due to the coming PC release because they know it'll sell like crazy on there.
If this had the PvP multiplayer it could be worth it.
That was one of the most underrated game modes ever to me. Something about the combat of this game just made the PvP so unique and intense.
Shit I still play it till this day lol
That multiplayer mode was truly underrated. I played out both sides if the 12 week completion trophies for the platinum, but whilst I started that for the pure intention of getting the platinum, I realised I stumbled upon a hidden gem, and me and 2 other friends played the multiplayer for a good solid 2 years on and off. Never really got old, just sad they didn't continue it for tlou2 or bringing it back for the remake as the same group of friends I played it with were all hyped just to play the online mode again... oh well 💁♂️
The combat was brutal - hitting a clicker with a brick and then running away and putting your last 3 bullets into it is a huge memory.
@@kylerobinson6102 absolutely. I'm the multiplayer mode there was nothing like trying to flank a dude and then boom a dude pops around a corner and yeets you with a 2 by 4 lol.
I legit thought it was going to drop with Factions but unfortunately that’s not the case. Had it drop with the new Factions they’re working on, I would have gladly dropped the $70
Wait for a deep deep sale. Teach them a lesson on game pricing.
You really are the best in the business!
That half of a sandwich analogy fits perfectly 🔥🔥🔥
I honestly have a feeling that this game will drop fast in price, since it is way overpriced for a game most of the playstation players already played it in the past.
Great review. I will be picking it up once it goes on sale. I’ve played it on PS3 and PS4 already so it’s not a day one purchase for me.
Same, it’s basically GTA5 all over again with the rereleases every console gen. Do I really want to buy a game I literally beat twice in two different consoles again?
If it wasn’t for the The Ascent:Cyber Edition launching same day as this I would prolly jump back into this remaster/remake. But as it stands I would much rather pay $39.99 around the holidays when it goes on sale. I don’t have any shortage of games to play rn. Inscryption and The Ascent atm. Works out perfect to be honest. GLHF alln
The ascent is amazing
what are the dualsense features?
Let's go!! I've been waiting for this review!
Let's go?! You mean, let's $wipe again.
It’s a good game but it really didn’t need to be remade. It was remastered not that long ago and this seems to be a way of wringing more money from the property. Maybe if your new to it but I won’t be shelling out more money on what is fundamentally the same game.
Anyone know if this comes with another platinum trophy?
Will you drop a video on the PC port?
Why would I pay 10 bucks more for another remaster that has even less features then the original?
apparently you're not, you're just going to cry on the Internet about it
@@justincox1685 And your unironically gonna defend a multi national company doing price gouging.
The character models almost look funny. Especially when Joel was choking out the infected. It's hard to explain but it almost looked like they were on a green screen or something. Maybe it's just me though idk but regardless I'm sure I'll be buying this bc I'm a sucker for this game
The "improved" facial animations make everything exaggerated and cartoony compared to the original which had a lot more nuance and ambiguity, plus Joel's new model looks too friendly so it doesn't really fit
character models look ugly as shit, joel also became this scrawny ass narrow shouldered crackhead
Last of us 1 part 1 only exists so they can feel better about their last of us 2 garbage canon
Idk what people are talking about when saying original Tess looked like she was in her 20’s lmao like yeah she had good skin but she still had crows feet and was extremely world weary, practically ran the entire underground and clearly went way back with Joel in the last 20 years. I NEVER thought she was that young
Thank you, ACG.
With love from Nigeria 🇳🇬
I have to get this, even tho I know deep down the price is too much, this is my all-time favorite game and I can sit here and tell myself to wait for it to go on sale, but I won't be able to wait. I am so excited to boot this up and play it again.
Can you buy me one too? I don’t want spend my money buying this game full price for a third time. Your money would be great for this purchase.
😂😂😂😂😂
As someone who's never played TLOU, I'm excited for the PC port.
Same bro gonna play it on my steam deck
Can’t wait to see what mods will be on pc. I’m hoping it’s a big smoke and Cj mod.
@@lordcheese7462 lmao that will be ridiculous but 100% will come.
Yeah, the mods for Spiderman PC have been so fun, so I'm super excited for mods for this game.
Play it on emulator
I had the Remastered on a PS4 Pro but never got to finish it. Unfortunately I sold the PS4 Pro along with the few games I had. So, I'm thinking on revisiting this on PC / Steam and at a discounted price. Callisto Protocol is something I'll get day one this year.
I’ll grab a $15 second hand copy in 2 years. Gonna go play the remaster again.
