I made these today and they are perfect! I’ve tried many granola bars recipes and disliked them all…until now. These are perfect for adding anything you want to them and they are delicious!
Being allergic to coconut and peanut butter I left out the coconut and substituted the peanut butter for sun butter! Thank you as I’ve not had granola bars for 20 years!!!
I think I'm going to make my own lactation bites with using this recipe. And than I will be making my own granola bars too and put them in for my husband and daughters lunches. My 21 month old son would like it as a snack, because he's starting to enjoy eating them now. Thank you again, Nicole for this recipe. It looks so simple to make and now I'm willing to give it a try!
Of course. Try it. What have you got to loose? If you don’t like the end product, don’t make it again. If you do like it, tell us all about it. This sound perfect to me.
Second time making this & not sure what I am doing wrong but my peanut butter honey mixture does not look the same…mine is so thick looks just like peanut butter
1. An 9”x13” pan? The pan looks square. Does square cook right too? 2. So if you double or triple recipe do you put it all in at once to make a thicker bar? I’m sorry, little dense here. (Also can’t hear you when you lower your voice 😏 sucks to get old! 🤷🏼♀️)
Bad recipe. I did and they were so dry and falling apart. The recipe lacks baking powder to inflate them and more stuff to hold them together. The extra toasting part seems unnecessary

I guess you can make them without using nut butters🤷♀️

Help, we don't eat nut butters...what would be a good substitute? Thanks.
Sunflower seed butter tastes and has the same consistency as nut butter.
Its often called sunbutter

Well heck!! PTL a super easy recipe wo a bunch of blah blah blah! THANK YOU!!!
Damn that was a lot of vanilla , she trying to get drunk? 🤣
mine turned out bitter. what did i do wrong?
Careful with raisins or dried fruit. They burn easily.
Since the oatmeal is not cooked in water, isn’t it going to give you a stomachache?
No it won't
