- Grogue Q reviews the IYV IJZ Jazz Solid hollow body electric guitar tobacco sunburst. This video is Not sponsored.
Things I forgot to mention:
These guitars are made in Vietnam.
They ship very quickly. Just a couple days.
Returning the broken one was not a problem.
I've played this guitar a lot in the last month, and I really enjoy it. If I sounded negative I just wanted to make sure people were aware of its shortcomings.
It's very light and comfortable to hold, I leave it by the TV and I play it in my comfy chair while I watch Netflix.

this was a great honest review. I just bought this guitar even after watching your great review. had a coupon and free shipping! $138. if you found it fun to play and I need to spend $100 to get it right it still seems like a pretty good deal! Thank you again for the honest video. I am a drummer learning to play.
Love my IYV IJZ 300, absolutely a great deal. Impressed with the workmanship for the price. I've owned Gibsons, Fender and Ibanez...comparing, again great value.
Its a joy to watch you play. I learn a lot too.
That's very nice 🙂
I'll tell you brother, great video! I came across your channel by chance and am a (newer) luthier and sometimes you get pawnshop prizes, like you said, tossing in minimum $ 80.00 is a safe bet. I've taken trash and switched pickups, Shaller tuners and sometimes restrained the wood not only for a nice personal player but for profit or gifting.
Like I said, I really enjoy your programing so far and will continue to watch your stuff dude!

Love the hat
Nice video, but here'es some constructive criticism : I have been watching a lot of guitars review type channels, Phillip McKnight, Darrell Braun, Rhett, JHS Pedals, 60Cycle hum etc. Like everyone else, I love Rick Beato and there are some others. Because of this, I get a lot of suggestions to watch channels like these, and the thing I don't like about many of them is that they are not edited enough. My time is valuable, I don't want to sit through a 17 minute video for 5 minutes of content.
Noted!
Niceeeeeeeeeeeee i like the reviews.
Thanks! I need guitar tools and this gives me a reason to get them. LOL. THANKS AGAIN!
Beautiful
Cool vid! Glad to have found your channel. Just subbed! These guitars are absolutely awesome, as far as I'm concerned. I bought one a couple years ago. The thing was absolutely perfect - right slam out of the box. I did nothing to it, and it was unbelievable - playing, sounding.... everything. Looked good. The whole 9. Then... I saw where they changed the bottom horn, and "rounded" it off. I had to have that. Looks way better, IMO. So I picked up yet another one. It was just as good as the first. Love love love these guitars. I'd like to have another one, as I love the varying wood grains. I am telling the absolute truth. Can't speak for everyone else... and I am sure others have had different experiences. But both of mine were literally perfect, right out of the box. Strings... yeah I should probably change those. haven't even done that. It will get even better with a better set. Last week.... Amazon ran these at $137 for a day or two. That's nuts. I think these are worth 3X that.... at least. My 2 cents. And the Destiny Wound pickups on mine.... SMOKE!!
Definitely worth the price and more. Mine wasn't perfect out the box like yours, but still quite a good guitar
I believe you could make any guitar sound great. You're a fantastic player! Great teaching videos Grogue Q
Wow, thanks!
Really glad you started your channel. You have a great gift for teaching in a low key way that is very understandable. I mostly play acoustic, but did buy an entry level Schecter Elite electric mostly to see how electric differs from acoustic. I have a small battery powered BlackStar practice amp. I think I need something bigger to get a better feel for the tones. I don't want to spend a lot on an amp, can you recommend one? Looking forward to your next video, Thanks!
What kind of music do you wanna play? This orange crush does some really nice clean and dirty sounds, it gets pretty loud but sounds good turned down, too. Has headphone jack, but doesn't come with a pedal to switch channels, but that's no big deal unless your playing live. Get the one w reverb, the 20RT.
At 4:19 I said the pickups were kind of rough, I meant the frets.
Dude you could make music with a Walmart special!!
10:35 is where distortion starts, you forgot to label it in timeline
nice jamming
Please make an acoustic tutorial for the song on 9:35, thank you.
I bought a J&D Les Paul Deluxe for $211 after tax, at Musicgoround with gold hardware, mahogany body and smoking hot pickups. Great
Solid hollowbody means it has a solid piece of wood running down the middle inside.
Thank you, I thought it was called semi hollow.
@@grogueQ It is 😉
At this price point even with the cost of a setup it seems like a good value .
Definitely a good value, just wanted people to know they definitely have to do some stuff.
I agree with others that say you could make any guitar sound good!!
I bought 2 jz 300.
My buddy wanted the second one so I ordered a third one. If they make a black one im buyin another and if they make a lefty im buyin another
It looks like a Gibson lawsuit guitar sounds good 👍🤘
😄
Ted Nugent showed us what a Hollow and a uuummmm solid hollow can do. 😮 I've contemplated pulling the trigger on this one several times. But I'm just so addicted to the fireflies quality and construction and tone. But either way I'm a huge LP lover and player but I really want a semi hollow.
This one's cheap enough that you could probably check it out without hurting your wallet too much I think it was around $180.
hello Friend, can you tell me the weight of this IJZ 300? Thank you!
I'm not sure, but it's very light compared to my other guitars. It's a hollowbody, which makes it lighter. Very comfortable to play.
