Ha! Thanks. It’s not my best landing however it’s way more near wrecking to land a plane whilst on video and talking! I’ll record another video soon comparing flight simulator on my new 4070 gaming pc versus on my Xbox Series X.
Hello Hans, I actually watched your video first before buying this product. Thank You.... Xbox Version: Here is my review: I had this thing for 1 year now. They need to make it a bit heavier so its feels more realistic, it has that cheap plastic. When you grip the stick it comes off the table because it's light cheap plastic. I strapped mine down with double sided tape. The gameplay setup is realistic I like it though for its price. When you plug it in its all set to go, no configs needed except for some light tweak setups. You can fly 2 engine aircraft but if you want to fly a 747 4 engine aircraft you need to adjust the throttle settings. Many youtube tutorials online. Next: Don't buy rudder pedals to attach to the stick. Waste of money. They are never accurate and you start rolling off the runway. The stick has a nice rudder turn feature. Flaps and spoilers work great. The release brake is accurate. The reversers are a big help, when you land just pull throttle levers back and you can reverse easily. Gear up/down is great. Comes with a giant printed configuration map in the box, but its confusing as hell. Ignore it. Banking left and right pretty accurate and on point. Space. A big fail they did was: No Trim wheel adjustment. Some aircrafts tends to pitch up at high altitudes and its hard to pitch down with the stick to adjust the aircraft back down to the horizon level. Make sure you have enough space to fit the stick, quadrant keyboard and mouse. It took me 2 weeks to adjust to this configuration, at first it will seem a bit hard getting used to flying with a stick and throttle separately, I felt frustrated but I finally mastered my landings.
Thanks for your review. I had mastered landing and flying using the controller and it did take me 2-3 weeks to get used to the TCA. Your insights on the pedals is great. Personally I don't find steering using stick to be bother some. However I have been tempted to buy additional throttles to make flying four engine planes easier. Regarding the joystick, yes it's light. Now i am thinking that I should maybe stick on velcros and add some removable weights to it.
I’m getting the hotas one for Christmas and the only reason I chose that over this is because I want to use a joystick in ace combat 7 and War thunder. But the airbus one won’t be as realistic for those games because it is made for airlines, the hotas one is made for fighter jets.
@@HonestHans365 That is very good to know-I have a very similar concern, so I’ve gone ahead and picked up an extension as well. Thanks for the quick help!
For whom don't recognize the quadrant on xbox, actually it Do recognize, but as it is enslaved to the sidestick, it only appears in photo on control option, but if you scan for example the gear knob you will see that quadrant works!!
I already have the standalone side stick X, do I have to repurchase the whole package for the quadrant to work on xbox? or can I just buy them separately? I heard a lot of xbox users can't get to work the standalone quadrants.
Hey Hans, just wanted to ask you a question. I’ve had the TCA Captains Pack Xbox edition for around 3 weeks now but have had some troubles. When I connect the side stick to msfs the game recognises it but when I then try to connect the throttle quadrant msfs doesn’t recognises the throttle quadrant. For some reason only the side stick works. Any help from you you anyone would be greatly appreciated ❤
I’m wondering if I buy just the Xbox Sidestick version and Can I connect non Xbox throttle quadrant to this Sidestick and play on Xbox X? Just to save some money!
You are welcome! It's plug and play and works straight away out of the box. No need to touch a single setting or disconnect the controller. I can also seamlessly switch between TCA, controller and mouse. The compatibility and software is 10/10 so far.

@@HonestHans365 I’ve had a problem where the flaps lever and spoilers don’t work properly and when I switch them both into position 1, they go directly into full flaps and full spoilers. Do you have a fix in settings for this?

Yes, it supports two different types of rudder pedals! The joystick has a headphone jack, one USB port to computer, two usb ports with one being used for throttle quandrant and the throttle quandrants has a proprietary port for other accessories.
@@PatriotCody You will love it. I am amazed by how precise the thrust levers are. A change is even recognised when they are moved 1mm - this makes fine tuning for landing significantly easier than long pressing A and B buttons on a controller.
Quick one Sir. Is it mandatory that you buy another extra throttle quadrant if one wishes to fly a 4-engine aircraft or can you use the 2 engine throttle quadrant to fly a 4 engine aircraft by mapping 2 engines per throttle lever?
Excellent question! I have flown planes with 4 egis and have only been able to control two engines with the throttle levers. However I haven't gone into the settings to check if I can map engines 3-4 to the same lever as 1 and 2 respectively.
Yes. Out of the box they are moved independently for thrust differention. However a pin is included which enables you to lock the throttles together. I also believe that you can buy and attach another throttle unit for controlling four engines independently.
