Thank you for looking me in the eyes and talking to me like the Airbus Challenged person that I am. I watched a couple of other videos and all they seemed to do was complain about the range on the throttles. None talked about calibration in MSFS and the MCDU...Go figure. But you had me when you turned it over and showed how all 3 are connected underneath, that calmed my worries about cable management. And going into MSFS controls setup was awesome, I have both Honeycombs...and they can be a little "Strange" when it comes to things like the gear/reverse "on press and on release". Can't thank you enough... Now if only someone would take about 20 hours out of their life and explain that darn MCDU...
yeah i noticed a huge lack when explaining this controller when i was trying to figure it out so i decided lets break it down barny style for people im glad it worked out for you
Hi cheese got flaps etc sorted thankyou so much just another question I have the second set of tca throttles what axis should I set the second set of throttles to for engins 3+4 cheers buddy 😊
It really depends on the head tracking system your using the track ir requires an IR camera with an IR blaster on your head/hat but there are camera options as well
It's not an issue with the A320. The throttle has to be calibrated using the Thrustmaster method. It does not require any software, just the buttons and settings of the throttle, and the spoiler/airbrake & flaps controls. Took me several days to discover the issue after thinking the Fenix V2 Block 2 A320 was at fault. Works fine now. There is a video on RUclips demonstrating (but it does not mention the airbrakes and flaps. Found that in the comments for the video.
Hey cheese pilot thankyou so much for this video unfortunately my flap leaver isn't working I've done exactly as you have but no joy. The speed brake lever is working perfectly though any thoughts. This is in the pmdg737 Cheers brent
Check the connection under the throttle quadrant if that’s good then check in your usb controller settings in windows and see if it works there if it still doesn’t work check the engine one and two and three and 4 switch

@3:52 you can change whether it has the notches or not by unscrewing the bars on the bottom and flipping it around
Refer to manual if you aren't sure what bars I'm talking about
thankts for the heads up i got it used so idk if i got the manual

Any chance you could do an update for this for FS2024? I can see all my controls in FS2024 but you can't see anything moving in Options>Controls.
Used to love these but moved to the VKB STECS recently.
That's awesome! Those are a little rich for my blood though haha😅
Do you need to set up the camera if you're using head tracking software? Great video, thanks.

did everything in the vid , it also mapped out for speed break and flaps in the A320, but still no luck
Which a320 are you using?
all good , got it all working , now im super hyped about using it @@cheesepilot

Does the throttle quadrant detach from the flaps and speed brake unit?
Yes, just with a couple screws on the bottom
By the way both throttle levers have detents. Just turn it upside down and play with a screw driver. You will understand what I mean to say😉
Oh shit thanks I just found it

@cheesepilot thank you buddy I'll check it all out and let you know how I got on thanks again for your great video it was awesome 👌 👏
The phone jack is to connect the pedals for the rudders
Why is the music quiet one second then the next second it's loud as hell??
Sorry I was using audio ducking I'm still a little new to this 😅
cant get my throttles set set up not showing working in the plane and followed set up
Which airplane are you using I'll look into it
Correction A350 has 2 engines not 4
Whenever i go full reverse thrust, the throttle starts going up instead of into the reverse. Is there a way to fix this?
yeah you need to change it from 0-100% to -100% - 100% so you can get the full range
@@cheesepilot Okay, thank you. How do i change it to the negative?
@@Alex-dw7zv you have to remap it to a different input. When you look at all the throttle controls you should see 0 to 100 -100 to positive 100
