This ground lesson I did last week this guy was saying I need to recap more on the weather . But hopefully i can schedule another ground lesson with him this week and go from there. Then After that ill still do practice checkrides to make sure i know the answers to the questions then actually schedule the mock checkride. But its alot of information Tho i will tell you that for the weather
You are welcome, thanks for tuning in. I’m glad it provided value! Best of luck on that checkride, you have enough time to really solidify the things you didn’t know.
Listening to this in the car. When I get home Imma write down all your questions and answers. Then imma keep listening to this on my commutes to work everyday until I can get every single question. This is GOLD
100% you got this, start getting sleep from now. Make sure you have your wife. Test printed out and the questions you missed decoded. Best of luck, what an exciting moment for you!
I’m glad you found it helpful, you got this. Do you have the audiobook pass your PPL checkride by Jason Schappert? I’d say get that off Amazon and listen to it religiously. It’s also very helpfu! Good luck. When is your checkride?
Awesome, so you are well on your way. I’d highly suggest looking into this book. I listened to the audiobook version about 100 times. “Pass your Private Pilot Checkride” by Jasen Schappart
I am really enjoying this. Thanks for posting it. I will also follow. I don’t have a problem with getting the questions correct. But I am working on how I explain it.
Great info on this video. BTW, I just saw virga and a video of how it looks in my gold seal ground school course, which makes me feel better about picking that ground school! Thanks!
Thank you, weather has so many terms, and CJ concepts it’s definitely one of the most difficult sections because there is an incredibly amount of information you are expected to know.
Congrats! That’s exciting, try to get some rest a few days before. I couldn’t sleep the night before. I was so anxious, and I’ve never felt anxiety in anyway shape or form in my life.
@@maxmichelson5769 exciting, I bet you are anxious and nervous. I know I was, but I also prepared like crazy. Try your best to relax, take your time, don’t rush anything! How did this mock oral go for you? Did you know the answers to most questions?
@@markhurford2761 you are welcome, I know you are gonna crush it! Make sure you get sleep!!! That’s the hardest thing to do the night before. Also let me know how it goes, and what questions if any you stumbled on during the checkride.

Thank you, my CFI Gal will definitely be a future captain, I however don’t know if I’ll even end up getting my commercial. My purpose is to fly around for fun, but the idea of having a commercial and flying charter/ corporate sounds amazing.
@ you are welcome, best of luck! Make sure you go over your POH, know where to find things. And calculate landing distances with tailwinds, and weight shift problems, also be able to draw the fuel system, vacuum system, and understand the electrical system. How many volts the battery is, and the alternator are. You’ll crush it!
@ I think it is a great word to give context and understanding of what they are. My DPE however did not like that definition, so I continued to say it is a service bulletin created due to common failure or know issues with a specific part, or system. He deemed that acceptable. Where are you currently in your pilot journey!
@ passed my private check ride on the 10th. Thanks in part to this video! Gave me a confidence boost k owing I was able to answer most the questions shown here correctly :)

What does he ask you at 7:53?? You responded with something like "it's a P model" couldn't make out question...
He asked if the Cessna 172 was an R model, and I responded it was a P model. There are subtle differences between models, power, flaps max gross etc.

I’ve been told recall is a bad term to use to explain AD’s but I guess it depends on the DPE
I agree 100% depends on the DPE!
recall is a good word for service bulletins
