- Not every student is prepared for their check ride and that is okay. I hate the phrase practice makes perfect because it implies that there is an end to training and learning but there isn't. There is always more to learn and even as an instructor I realize that and its why I love teaching. I always learn something new from every student.
I know we have been doing alot of private pilot but I do have instrument and even some unique aircraft mock check rides to share so make sure that you subscribe and hit that bell so you can get notified when they come out.

Thanks again! This definitely helped me identify some weak areas. I’ve since done a couple of 2 hour sessions with my CFI and about to take the knowledge test now, so we’ll see how it goes! But I probably won’t take my checkride until the end of the summer.
He did a great job im about the same knowledge level, so this helped clear some things up

I'm getting ready for my check ride, and these videos are great thanks. Just one question on the preventive maintenance I dont think you are allowed to change spark plugs. Where can I find if this is correct or not? I don't want the examiner to ask me this and give the wrong answer

These videos are extremely helpful, thank you for sharing! However, I think there’s a lack of weather questions in these mock checkrides.
Yeah I need to dig into weather more it'd just suck a hard subject to cover in depth in a limited time frame. Plus a lot of it's memorization like knowing the 4 types of fog isn't gonna make you any safer but knowing that fog comes from humid air being cooled to the dew point helps with situational awareness
Hey Cheese, my name is Quade. I've been watching the recent oral check ride prep and I would like to say they are very helpful. I'm also from Wisconsin and I'm about 40-45 hours within 4 months with all of my training done. I've passed my written and I got my check ride in June. I feel like I'm ready but I have some doubt. Have you experienced something in the lines of this? If so, do you have any advice for me? Thanks!
Remember your instructor cares about their pass rate more than your ego. If you weren't ready they wouldn't sign you off

At the 40 minute mark, the guy said to refer to the MEL. Just wondering if it is better to refer to it as a KOEL? hopefully someone can clarify.
And Mel and a koel are not the same thing

@@VaughnAviation if your airplane has an Mel than it must be used in lieu of all other regs the koel is in the POH both must be brought up to show that you understand where to look

Not sure what the Jab at Truth Social was about but I’d recommend keeping your politics to yourself. If I wanted political commentary, I wouldn’t come to an aviation channel. People are beyond sick of listening to two national anthems, being forced-fed BLM trash, trans ideology and Marxist propaganda. It would be nice just to go somewhere and not have to put up with politics. If you want to infuse politics, especially leftist politics, you’re creating a loosing strategy….
